This place is great! Everything was fresh & tasted amazing! Trey is a sandwich artist at it’s finest. He makes theeee best sandwiches hands down & is super quick which is great. He was very friendly & the owner Cynthia is sweet and very helpful. It’s nice to see a place that truly is a team! Recommend this Togo’s highly :)

I had some time before last night’s Unilocal Elite Event at Broadstone Corsair, and as it was National Pastrami Day(yes, that’s a thing) and I had a BOGO coupon, I made the call to head to this TOGO’s location for an early dinner.(Added bonus: as I found out during the drive, it was a few blocks away from the event!) Yes, this TOGO’s shares space with a Baskin Robbins; an interesting combo, but somehow it works. I placed my order for the #9(classic pastrami on honey wheat) and upgraded it to a combo with chips and a drink for $ 2.59 extra. Total price with tax: $ 13.13… sweet Christmas, for a sandwich chain, that’s pricy!(The fact that I asked for extra cheese — .75 extra, as it doesn’t normally come with the sandwich — didn’t help much, nor the fact that they charged me for both the sandwich I ordered and my free one. Sheesh…) I was hoping that for the price, the sandwich wouldn’t disappoint; unfortunately, while my pastrami sandwich filled me up, I was expecting extra. There certainly was plenty of pastrami, but the condiments were sorely lacking. Lettuce, tomato, pickle, red onion, and pepperoncini for the veggies, and mayo, mustard, dijon mustard, BBQ chipotle, and Italian Vinaigrette(Boom Boom sauce appears to be a premium option) are your only choices, not counting premium ones like bacon and guacamole. Say what you will about Subway, but at least they have more options in terms of vegetables and dressings… and bread types, come to think of it. At TOGO’s, they only have white, honey wheat, sourdough, and parmesan. Maybe if the bread was toasted, I would’ve enjoyed the sandwich a bit more… the weird thing is, when I had the extra pastrami sandwich as my lunch today, it tasted better than the first.(Perhaps an evening in my fridge helped marinate the flavors better, who knows?) There’s a few more options I’d like to try, such as their Cuban and the Hi-Riser — and from what my girlfriend told me, their salads actually are better than their sandwiches, so I’ll also keep that in mind for future visits to this TOGO’s location(which at least has consistent hours; the Miramar location nearer to me closes earlier than the hours posted).

I have been a Togo’s OG since they opened the first store in Santa Cruz, CA. I have not had a Togo’s since I moved here over 3 years ago. This was always my go to sandwich shop in the bay area for many many years. I know what to expect and have had almost ALL of the sandwiches. I was stoked to see one while I was waiting on my car to be serviced. I was thinking/daydreaming about the hot roast beef or pastrami or turkey and avocado. I was checking out the reviews and they said they changed the turkey in the T and A so I was leery. I decided to go with my old favorite the Hot roast beef #7. The hot meatball is another favorite it was a hard decision to make. Well they changed the menu it seems like they were trying to take on the quiznos franchise by offering hot toasty sandwiches… I am a traditionalist and ignored that menu. I am also not a quiznos fan. There was only one guy making sandwiches on a Saturday? It took FOREVER for the one guy. There was only 1 person in front of me(thankfully) but i waited 15 minutes behind him. He did not have a big order. There was another guy floating sometimes making sandwiches or dealing with the baskin robbins incorporated into the place and slicing meat in the back. So yeah there is a big problem with lack of service. I watched people pile in behind me growing very impatient. The one guy making sandwiches was completely inept. He asked me repeatedly what my order was then when I told him«hot roast beef» he started asking all kinds of questions like if I’ wanted horseradish mayo’ etc… I was like ‘what? No just the regular way you make it on the white roll.’ He still kept asking me questions as to what I wanted on it. I said«whatever it usually comes with I want THAT» He seemed confused as to what to normally was presented. Halfway through this I realized he was making me the hot roast beef dip and not the regular #7 hrb. I told him what I wanted FOUR times he kept forgetting or not comprehending. He had to start over and make the #7. He asked me if I wanted chips or a drink 3 times all of which I said NO to. I had a drink in hand. It was all so frustrating yet a simple order. Maybe I should have written it down? Anyway the sandwich was a huge disappointment and not at all like I remembered. The beef was super skimpy. They used to load the sammiches up. Not anymore. budget cuts? I ate half of it and ran out of ingredients for the other half of the half(see picture) that has never happened in the past. So sad, no wonder they are not doing well here.

I went here during my lunch break and i was in and out in no time. Normally this would be a good thing but the woman making the sandwiches made me and my coworker feel way too rushed. I feel like i didn’t even have time to make a decision on what cheese i wanted on my sandwich nor could i remember what kind they carried because she rambled them off so fast. Then while I was eating my sandwich everything was just slipping out of it. If she would have just taken 2 more minutes of her time(since it was not busy) to contribute towards customer service and the assembly of my sandwich i would have given this place 4 stars.

Great staff! Creative sandwich ideas. I likes the spinach tortilla I’ve never seen that before. They were very friendly. It looked very clean and had little wait time. Their veggie delight wrap is delicious! Definitely one of my new favorite spots!

It has been awhile since I have been here. They make pretty good sanwiches like most other sandwich locations. Staff is pretty friendly. A nice assortment of sanndwiches bith hot and cold. They share a space with baskin robbins so you can satisfy several cravings at once. Evening I stopped in they were out of several items which is understandable. One thing to note, they do not make hot sandwiches after 9 pm. The staff told me they turn something off at 9 so its regular sanwiches only. It kind of limits the menu if you want something warm. Other then that, it’s a nice place to stop in for lunch or dinner. Plenty of parking but it can be a little difficult to get out dependin on traffic and direction.

Food was just mediocre. Probably won’t come back since I now have a fire house sub in my area!

Market Salad! Prepare for long lines but the portions are large and the prices are fair enough. BTW, just because its not fried, doesnt mean its low cal/fat. This stuff adds up folks! 900 calorie tuna sandwich? whoa

When I’m in the mood for a sub, you just can’t beat Togo’s. The quality is always consistent, the bread is always soft and fresh. The service at this location is also great. #26 is my default fav. Togo’s rules, I’ve been going to them since the 80’s. Unlike subway, the sandwich quality remains the same as first day I tried as kid. Recommended!

I like me some Togos. Good sandwich, fresh ingredients, good service, clean location, but dang sandwiches are getting expensive. I paid just about $ 10 for 6″ turkey/avocado, chips, and a small drink.

I like this place. The location(busy shopping center) kind of sucks getting in and out of; but I am a fan of this chain and often wonder why it is not as busy or prevalent as its substandard competitor, subway. I haven’t ventured far outside of my comfort zone here — turkey and cheese and farmer’s salad are about all I have tried. I always choose sourdough bread, because I love the taste and how it’s so thick and chewy and just plain yummy. I’m usually a wheat girl; but I am actually not the hugest fan of the wheat bread here. Any who, the ingredients on the sandwich are fresh and plentiful. My favorite is their use of pepperocinis to spice things up… I always ask for extra! The farmer’s salad is also tasty, with feta, like a Greek salad of sorts. During lunch, they have an awesome deal, where you can pick two(soup, salad, or sub) for $ 7.29. It’s a great deal and more than enough to fill you up. In fact, because their bread is so filling, I usually only eat ½ of my 6″ sub at a time. I know I said I didn’t venture out of my comfort zone much, but I have had a co-worker accompany me here a few times; and she thoroughly enjoyed her selections as well. The customer service is good and friendly; and their is a Baskin Robins located within the same store, in the event you also have a sweet tooth.

Don’t ask me why I’m wasting my time reviewing a Togo’s. We all know you get what you pay for. But my concern wasn’t with the food. The counters, tables and floors were disgusting as hell. Sandwich maker«Big Al» was cool though so it earns and extra star bringing it the total to a one star review.

I really like this place the food is good and well proportioned, and they put a good amount of meat on each sub. Unlike some other sandwich places(subway). The people that work there are friendly, and obviously love working there especially big al he makes u feel right at home. They are usually pretty good at getting my order right but this time she got my bread wrong, and since the counters are so high and I’m so short I couldn’t see in time to tell her. But they remade it no problem no hesitation no attitude. I like that. And if you still have room they also have a basken robins. :) My only complaint would be the ladies room, I found no hook for my purse and they had no toilet seat covers…

Stopped by this location recently while traveling through San Diego and enjoyed another fantastic Togo’s lunch with the kids. The food is always so consistently delicious and there’s something on the menu for everyone’s taste. Togo’s really cares about their products and customers and it shows. I wish I could buy their bread at my local supermarket.

I come here on my lunch break and I’ve gotta say, the workers are an absolute pleasure. It is always nice to find good customer service, but I feel like this place really believes in taking that extra step to be stellar. The food is always good and fresh, but I’ll be honest. the main part of what keeps me coming back over and over is very specifically related to their customer service. Even when there is a line you dont have to wait too terribly long, and there is always multiple people working together in a team effort to get us out the door during a lunch rush.

TOGO’s pretty standard place. What got me here was the service. The place was like 30 mins from closing. And the one chick behind the counter was really nice. She did her job well and wasn’t upset she had 2 more customers. Def went the extra mile. I’m just curious to know how fresh your soups are… really.

The staff is always friendly and smiling. The sandwiches are always full of deliciousness! I would always recommend the turkey avocado and the also can make a meal de without the chips. Options include macaroni salad, potato salad or a banana for health conscious folks. The restaurant is shared with a Baskin Robbins also! Desert is a counter away.

It’s interesting how this TOGO’s shared the building with a Baskin Robbins run and owned by the same owner. I came in for a quick dinner and ordered their Turkey and Avocado submarine on a sourdough roll and with a Unilocal check in, I earned a free drink( ). The submarine was very good. I especially enjoyed the chewy tasty sourdough bread, and the thick layer of fresh deli turkey.( ) Also, I love avocado, and they piled the creamy fruit on, through out the submarine( ). It was perfectly ripe. All the rest of the ingredients were fresh and crisp. I axed the mayo and added deli mustard instead, which gave it a great zing. The place was well organized and clean. The young lady who took my order and made my sandwich was quite nice and had a good sense of humor. The owner came over to make sure I was a happy camper and I was.
