I just finished my wrap and I am so FULL!!! The wrap was a very generous size and fulfilled my hunger for probably the rest of the day. The place is in the middle of a food court and during lunch gets pretty busy. I walked in at 12:22 and I was out the door at 12:34 with my wrap in hand. I think the 12 minute wait is reasonable given that there was 10 people in front of me and I still got my lunch in a timely manner. The place has a salad bar to build your own salad or select to order one of the salads that is already listed on the menu. but you still have the opportunity to customize because the salad bar person makes it in front of you. its not just pre-made. They had unique salad toppings like sweet potatoes and quinoa and other items that could make for a great meal. They also have a large variety of dressings to choose from and a lot of vegetarian and GF options. I ordered the chicken margarita wrap, it was delicious and filling. The dressing has great flavor; the wrap is spring mix, chicken, mozz balls, tomatoes and white balsamic. My only complaint was that there was a lot of dressing in the wrap and it ‘peed’ out the dressing when I was getting to the end of the wrap.

I really enjoyed the salads there as well as the vegan chili. My husband didn’t really care for the place. We got the Mediterranean salad, the power salad, the Caesar salad and the vegan chili. I liked the Mediterranean salad the best. It was nice to have fresh food in one place and I would go back again. Not sure if my husband would…

Got take out twice here now and I think it’s safe to say that I’m a fan. It’s a salad place so it’s…well…salad. You’re not going to get some awesome creative fusion gourmet created food. Just fresh healthy salads that satisfies the tummy. So far I have ordered the Spinach Salad and Caprese Salad and both were delicious. I’m surprised at the quality every time. With that said what I keep coming back to is the vegetarian chili! The chili has a great kick to it and honestly I don’t even notice that it’s meatless. I always have a tough time deciding where to eat for lunch and I seem to always feel that I have to settle for something«healthy» so I come to Greenspot. But every time I’m glad I did!

I got the CA turkey wrap and it was fresh but not good at all. Also got a side of roasted potato wedges that were soggy from steaming in the warming drawer for however long. The salads look pretty good but as a previous poster wrote it’s just a plain salad bar.

This is a very generic salad bar. There’s not much to say about it except that it’s a good healthy alternative for lunch. The price is very reasonable and reflects its quality, which to me is just A-OK. I got the ensanada salad with grilled chicken and the rosemary bread. Although the chicken’s portion was somewhat generous, it wasn’t moist enough. Also, I didn’t think the salad tasted THAT fresh. The staff was really friendly in helping me out but all in all I’m not all that impressed.

Great food here! I love a healthy lunch choice. Baked potato with a side salad is my go-to. The only negative is that the online ordering is very confusing and should be updated. Our office does group lunches often and their Square ordering system makes this very difficult. Other than that, the food is a must try!!!

Great place for lunch but make sure to come before 1130a as it gets packed. Salads are fresh and their sweet potato is awesome. Always my to go place for lunch. Most soups are gluten free

Salads are really good and pretty large. The only down point is that they are pretty expensive for a salad bar. I’m not sure if they are organic but I feel like for the price it should be.

Amazing flavors and very fresh food. Thank you for a delicious experience and I will be back! Thumbs up to your staff who remains calm when there is a huge line out the door… great customer service despite being a very busy place! Keep up the good work!

I ordered online(10:24) and received confirmation that it would be ready in 20 minutes 10:44. Awesome! So I left a little late from work got here for pick up 3 mins after my scheduled pick up time, then received a text saying it would be ready by 11:16. Pretty frustrating since I only get a half hour lunch. I killed time and got a Starbucks. Get there 11:10, didn’t look too busy so I was hopeful that it may be done. Go to the register and give my name, felt like I was annoying the lady at the register. She asks one of the guys if it’s done and come to find out, it wasnt even started yet. She told me «it’s not ready yet.» and that was it. I sat and waited and it was ready in about 5 mins. So it only takes 5 mins to make a side salad, but I was delayed almost an hour from when I placed it online. Really? I didn’t even receive an «I’m sorry for the inconvenience, but we’re running a little late with your order, but we are doing everything we can to get it made as soon as possible.» Thank goodness their food is great because it makes up for their lack of customer service. Not very friendly or accommodating at all.

My coworker found a nice trail that leads to the shopping center that Greenspot is in, so I decided to join him today as I had more time for lunch than usual. I’ve driven to this plaza at lunch time before and it’s a nightmare since it’s surrounded by office buildings. The walk to Greenspot is about 20 minutes, so I suggested that we order online. If you order online, you pay online and skip the line as your food is ready within 20 minutes of submitting your order. The only downside to the system they use is that you can’t specify a different pick up time other than the notes section. I accidentally typed 11:30pm instead of 12:30pm, but the person who registered my order recognized my mistake and I got a text saying that my order would be ready at 12:30pm. I was a little anxious as a lot of reviews posted here mentioned that the service would be terrible and that my order was more than likely to be missing items. My coworker said that his salad was perfect, and upon looking at my order, it looked fine too. Build Your Own Salad.(Entrée). Grilled Chicken, Spring Mix, Apple, Green Peas, Dried Cranberries, Walnuts, Balsamic Vinaigrette(on the side). Everything I requested was in my salad. I like the spring mix combination and the leaves all tasted and looked fresh. The toppings were exactly as expected, except for the chicken. I remember coming here in the past and thinking that the chicken was dry, but since it had been a while since my last visit, I chalked it up to bad memory. Unfortunately, my chicken was definitely dry and not very flavorful. I’m not sure if it’s because I’m spoiled by the grilled chicken at 710 Beach Club(best grilled chicken on a salad EVER), but I just didn’t enjoy this addition to my salad. The grainy texture on the meat was off putting, but since I paid an extra $ 2, I didn’t want to not eat it. Tomato Basil Bisque(Cup). This is not my favorite cup of Tomato Basil Bisque, but it’s definitely not the worst. I definitely tasted the tomatoes and the basil, but there’s something missing. I just can’t put my finger on it. This was freshly poured when I picked up my order, so it was still warm when I got back to the office. Overall, Greenspot is a good choice for salads in this plaza, but it is definitely not something I would seek out intentionally. I really like the ease of ordering online, but the food is just decent, not absolutely amazing.

It is unfortunate that I give them a low rating. The food is actually very good. I like their soups, salads, wraps, and baked potatoes. They receive a solid 4-star rating for the food. What I don’t like is their incompetence. I have ordered online three times. Each time they have screwed up the order. Finally on the third time, I checked every detail when I picked it up(and had them fix mistakes). They also cannot follow directions even if you order at the restaurant. Order a normal menu salad and add protein, and they will almost always forget the protein. Out of the 12 – 15 times that I have gotten food here they have screwed up 7 or 8 of them. This last time, they forgot the flank steak on two identical salads. I drove all the way back to get the protein. They eventually gave it to me, but it seemed much too little to be for two salads. It gets tiresome to have to babysit their staff. There is one guy(tall, husky with a beard), and he is great. He has never made a mistake, and he makes a great salad. If they can fix their quality issues, I will raise their rating.

I love the food here but the service has been terrible the past few months. The past FIVE times I’ve been they have forgotten to add either my protein and/or other extras I’ve asked for(croutons and avocados… usually all 3 are forgotten). And I always order extra salads for my co-workers so really it’s 2 or 3 messed up salads five times. That’s a lot of paid for extras we don’t get and this has become the norm. Now I have to not use their online ordering, go in and actually watch each salad. Not a great lunch option. Well today they managed to forget protein on 2 of our salads while I was there. I had to go back(it’s a terrible parking lot and I don’t have the time) to get the forgotten steak for my boss. They didn’t even care. And they only gave me enough protein for one salad. So none for me today. There’s one guy(I wish I knew his name!) who’s great. He listens and is also friendly… the others don’t really do either. He has a beard. Go and cross your fingers you get him while in line! My boss has asked me to not come here anymore. We order about 15 salads a week in our office. Bummer! They’re one of the only places to get a good fresh salad.

I really prefer croutons over this place, the menu seems a bit complicated and it took me a minute to figure it out, sort of like a subway and their meal deals are the best way to go. Service is so lazy and cold, I cant go over three stars. I ordered two salads and they didn’t label them, I had questions about the menu but employees seemed too busy and a bit annoyed. Good salad selections but lousy service.

Mediocre. I came in for lunch on my work break and got what I came for. But nothing really stood out. I ordered a chicken Caesar salad, and it was good. My only complaint is that the croutons were stale. One reason I say 3 stars as opposed to 4 is because the people working behind the counter don’t wear gloves. Even though they don’t even touch the food, it’s still gross. Overall, good. But I probably wouldn’t come back.

The Greenspot Salad Company is a great place to grab nice healthy lunch. The concept here is similar to Chipotle, but with freshly built custom salads. I actually love this concept as it leaves no room for complaining since the salads are essentially designed by you. The ingredients are all fresh here and this place tends to get a bit packed due to the surrounding businesses. I must say the organic mixed greens are the best lettuce base that I have had, pick your own veggies, maybe add some chicken and mix it with blue cheese/balsamic vinaigrette dressing and you can’t go wrong. Since you are essentially charged by the ingredient, the salad can get really expensive, really quick so beware… This joint also has a great selection of soups, so I recommend trying one of them in a combo.

I work nearby and wanted something different from the food court, which is blah. I like the salad, they have fresh ingredients and let you customize. But I came in wanting only a small side salad. They’re like you either have to buy a big salad or a combo with a side salad and a side of potatoes or something. Why can’t I just buy a side salad? The girl behind me in line also wanted just a side salad. So clearly there’s a demand. Also the combo comes with a drink, I said can I have no drink? Again no. I hate when places are so rigid. You should be able to order just a damn side salad. Next time, instead of me coming in to order a side salad I won’t be ordering at all, so they lost business. So I ordered a side salad and a russet potato. First I ate just the russet potato with the dipping sauce and had an upset stomach afterwards. Won’t be coming back. Definitely unimpressed.

First time trying this place and I love it! My friend Christine recommended this place to me, and I’m really glad I tried it! Plenty of parking spaces, this restaurant is located in the sorrento valley food court, by the 805 freeway, and by McDonald’s! The place itself is vibrant, clean, and organized. You walk in, pick your salads or you can create your own salad at the«green station». This place has a large variety of salads, potatoes, soups, beverages and bakery. The type of salad I ordered is called«Ensenada» which consists of house greens, tomato, red onion, house roasted red pepper, avocado, roasted corn, chopped cilantro and to top it off, cilantro citrus vinaigrette(delicious!) all for $ 7.50. I added citrus grilled chicken breast to it which is an extra $ 2.00. I think for amount of portion they give you(huge!) for a salad, it’s worth the $ 7.50. I also got a(artisan dinner roll) whole wheat bread along with my salad. The salad itself — I basically killed it all in a matter of minutes! The chicken breasts were tender and delicious, the salad had so much flavor and tasted SOFRESH! I’ve seen this place get super busy around lunch time, so glad I went in the morning and it wasn’t too packed. They are open from MON-FRI only ‚ from 11:00am until 8:00pm!

OMG! Greenspot hits… you guessed it… the spot!!! Hahahahahaha… ok no seriously, they are my favorite lunch time place to eat. Some things to keep in mind: 1. The most important thing that you’ll have to know is that this place gets busy, so if you’re thinking of moseying in here at 12 for a quick bite, you’re going to be disappointed, because there is a HELLA long line! 2. The parking lot is like the waiting room to hell, crowded and with a lot of assholes everywhere you turn. There is a menu board that is divided into 3 sections. On the far left is a list of salads with pre-selected ingredients. I’m sure that you can modify any of these, but if you’re thinking of going off the charts, then move on to the middle section of the menu board. In this section, you can build your own salad, so it’s time to go nuts if you’re here. You can choose the type of greens, the toppings, and the dressings. Feel free to mix and match as much as you’d like here. It’s all a-la-carte pricing in this section. The far right is full of sides and other things. This is where you’ll find potatoes, soup, cookies, drinks, etc. What you need to know is that the prices are really reasonable. Almost everything is under $ 10. The ingredients are very fresh, and your salad is made to order right in front of your face. The portion is no joke either! It’s freakin HUGE!!! STOPREADINGTHISREVIEWANDGOTRYTHISPLACERIGHTAWAY!!! It’s really great!

This is my new favorite next-to-work place to eat. My rating is completely biased because of the proximity here, but the meal deal or whatever they call it is pretty much my favorite walk-to-lunch option right now. I am in love with their spinach salad right now. I always pick something else for the 2nd option(been bouncing between different baked potatoes and their soups), but the spinach salad is always a must for me. The $ 9 lunch option includes a drink too. I like it a lot. It’s maybe $ 1 – 3 more than some of the other options in this food court, but I think it’s worth it . The rosemary sourdough roll is a nice touch too. I’d normally rate this place maybe a 4(I actually enjoy their salad more than Croutons, my old favorite for this type of eatery), but being walking distance to work gets it some unfair bonus points from me :)
