Popped in for appetizers(which was meh) and some drinks. It’s a very chill place to watch a football game outside by the relaxing fire or without the yelling of a typical sports bar. Definitely not a place to rage and get drunk wild. The bar staff was attentive, friendly and made awesome drinks. I always recommend this place to my coworkers. A great place to go for drinks(not so much for the food). I am all about service therefore

I know this is a bar/lounge inside of a hotel but it also happens to be located next door to work so it’s a great place to go for lunch! The lounge itself is really nice and, since it’s a bit of a hidden secret, it’s not crowded. Service is so friendly and the food is pretty darn good. I’m a big fan of their burgers and their grilled salmon on top of their caesar salad — delicious! Prices are pretty standard for a hotel establishment. TVs are available to keep up with the news and/or latest sports games. The really nice part is their catering and party space! Their outdoor patio is soooo nice with a lot of space, seating, and a really cool fire pit. We have had a couple work get togethers there over the years and I keep wanting to have a personal party event on the patio!

This restaurant is located inside Embassy Suites La Jolla which makes it a pretty convenient restaurant if you’re staying at that hotel. Right now, there is a promotion going on that lets you purchase an $ 11 two topping large pizza. Both my friend and I thought it was one of the best pizzas we’d ever had. And that’s also a heck of a deal. We wanted to sit by the fire before swimming after dinner so my friend bought a whiskey coke and I got a sprite because I didn’t want to drink. The whiskey coke was 8.50(A little pricey, but could have been much higher considering the location) and I was pleasantly surprised to find out that my sprite was free. The ambience is nice and the restaurant is very clean.

Great service and excellent food! I asked for nutrition info and our waitress went an extra mile trying to calculate carbs for the meal my daughter was ordering. Very friendly and extremely helpful. I would definitely return here for the rest of our stay in San Diego.

It’s a restaurant and bar/lounge located inside the Embassy Suites — La Jolla. If you like the hotel’s Facebook page, you’ll get a free drink from Indulge. I went there the first night of my stay after dinner. The vibe is cool, dark. There are flat screens showcasing sports games but you could ask the bartender to change the channel if no one else is watching. The outside patio boasts some fire pits and couches. My company reserved the patio for a private dinner the following evening. We were treated to sliders, shrimp tempura, bruschetta, cheese & crackers, egg rolls, pizza bites, and dessert. Actually what we thought were just appetizers ended up being the dinner. Sort of disappointing to reserve the whole patio just for a few appetizers. It’s as if they forgot to serve us a main course. The patio is a great area to hang out. Once the sun sets, the air becomes cooler and they turn on the fire pits and heat lamps. The fire pits give off a lot of heat. There are only two settings: on and off. There’s no in-between so if you’re sitting near it, you may get scorched. Beware. Decent place for a drink and meal but with so many places in San Diego to explore, I’d go somewhere else.

Ok if you are feeling too lazy to grab some food somewhere else or don’t want to leave the hotel for the UTC food court about a block over, then this is the place for you. The good — seating area is nice, the sandwiches were really good especially the club and steak sandwich. The bad — service was ok, nothing special. The server didn’t know the ingredients in the food and seemed agitated that I had the audacity to ask. Food allergies! The price. Overpriced!

This was the most convenient dinner option as a guest at the Embassy Suites La Jolla. The stars are for my extraordinary server Josh, and the quality of tequila offered. However, the prices are extremely inflated. Although my drink was good, $ 15 is way too much for a non-well drink at this lounge. I ordered the filet, and it was cooked as I requested, but the taste was still very bland. For a California hotel destination in La Jolla, you really need to up your game. In conclusion, great service and drinks, but overpriced and extremely average food.

Came here to have breakfast with family who were visiting San Diego… all you can eat breakfast! The omelet made to order was fantastic! They also serve pancakes, bacon, sausage, potatoes on the hot bar. Then there is the cold bar that has cereal, fruit, boiled eggs, yogurt, pastries… and all the breakfast drinks you could ever want! Really it is a lot for what you pay… and it is conveniently located if you are staying at the Embassy Suites. The staff are extremely friendly and hooked us up with a lot of food! Would definitely recommend if you need to start your day off with a big meal! I’ve also been here for drinks and they are a bit pricey but worth every drop. Again, service is fantastic!

Went here because I’ve seen the sign and it looked a little upscale. So the wife and I went there despite the low ratings on Unilocal. And the low ratings are completely accurate. Unfortunately, we have to agree with them. The beer selection is so narrow it’s really surprising, especially with so many craft Breweries so close. We ordered the hot wings and they are very frozen out of a bag. The product quality is not bad, it’s just nothing special, it’s very corporate hotel, high volume low cost, quick to generate. Think the McDonalds of a medium class hotel, as its in the Embassy Suites. All in all I won’t expend the 12 – 14 minutes of my life to walk there again. The new bar at the Marriott 2 blocks away is by far much better.

Late dinner, coming back from a 7 mile run at Mission Bay Park. What a run, lots of beautiful people running!

The burgers here are awful! I asked for medium rare and my burger was still cold and bloody! I didn’t even want another burger, it took them long enough to bring the one I ordered. They took half off the bill, but still… all i had for lunch that day were the fries it came with! This bar/restaurant is part of the Embassy Suites Hotel, it was convenient when we were staying at the hotel but the food was terrible! No wonder the place was empty on a Friday for lunch service!

I don’t know what’s up with these bad reviews. I have a very large family and a place that isn’t over packed is always great! The service was very friendly and got everything right. We threw a graduation party for my sister, not only did they set up the whole outside for our party but they played exactly what we wanted on tv and our favorite radio station! The food was amazing, one of the best steaks we have had in a long time. They even made her a special desert or graduating. We had a great time and hung out by the fires long after dinner was over! If you are looking for a calm, fun atmosphere to hang out with the ones you love and eat some great food I completely recommend this place!

Crappy. I threw a «going away happy hour» for a work buddy here last Friday. I find it odd that happy hour doesn’t start ’til 5:30. CRAPPYHOUR! That’s super late considering the location; you’d think they would start earlier to cater to all the surrounding offices. Anyway, this place looks really nice. Swanky little atmosphere… I ordered Thai Chicken Skewers and a side of seasoned fries. $ 6 for half a bowl of fries — what a rip! And I sent back the skewers cuz they were cold, the waitress brought them back at the same temperature. Speaking of the waitress, freekin’ ice queen. oooo and the beer selection was pretty awful. Something like Bud Light, Bass, and Hef on tap.

I see why this place gets such bad ratings. It’s empty most of the time. We went there for lunch. I had steak sandwich, quite good and filling. My husband had the asian salad.(I know it should be the other way around) The service was OK, not spectacular. The funny part was we were sitting outside and she peeked out the door and asked my husband if he want more water. His glass was empty. Will I go again? Probably yes as there isn’t any decent place for lunch in that neighborhood.

I loved this place so much that I decided to get married there!!! I live in Texas but I have stayed there before and just fell in love. The staff is just top notch. Don’t even get my started on the décor. The recently renovated EVERYTHING and it is amazing. My wedding was about 50 and you would have thought we were celebrities. Nickole and Michelle took such amazing care of me. Anything we needed, we got. The bridal suite was also newly renovated and it was HUGE. I had 6 bridesmaids and we ALL got ready in this suite. Indulge did the dinner and we had an open bar. Dinner was FANTASTIC. Chicken and steak with fresh veggies and mashed potatoes. We are pretty old fashion but they put a modern twist on their presentation. The steak melted in your mouth. The chef even created a signature dessert for my husband and I. Most of our guest stayed at the hotel and we all met for their breakfast buffet… UM… HELLO! Can you say OFFTHECHAIN! It was the best breakfast I have ever had, let alone at a hotel. Bottom line… AWESOME!!!

The bar SUCKS. The bartenders have little knowledge of their drinks, and overcharged me by 50 bucks once by giving me a top shelf liquor that I didn’t ask for. However, their burger is one of the best in San Diego. I would suggest getting that and a beer, just to be on the safe side. It really is sad that this place isn’t better, since they spent a ton of money making their patio pretty awesome. They really should get a new manager or chef to turn the place around. Just don’t get rid of the burger!

The food taste like something from the frozen aisle. The pasta was all soggy. It has a homemade taste — as in it taste like something I used to make in a college dorm room. Overcooked penne with jar of spaghetti sauce. The calamari was decent, but the sauce also taste like something else out of a jar.

To be honest, I am surprised at the reviews on here about Indulge! I have been here three times because I have friends who live nearby, and I think that the reviews it has recieved are a bit harsh. The customer service I have recieved here has been outstanding! the first time I came here, I did not like the soup and the manager came out to check on the chili that the server brought me instead. Since then I have been greeted by the bartender and manager as they remembered my face, a great way to enter a restaurant! The manager did let me know that they have a new chef and let me try some of their upcoming items– I think that the food quality is going to jump up and surprise alot of people. I tried a new mousse dessert and some vietnamese puffed rice shrimp, I loved both of them! Also, they have 4 beers on tap– Bass, Widmer Hef, Bud Light, and a European Pilsner(I was there last night). The real gem of this place in my opinion is the nice patio with two large firepits with 2 flat screen T.V.‘s outside as well as the 4 T.V.s in the bar area. They have live music on most Thursdays, and it is a great place to meet up for a meal or just drinks after work.

Went there the other night after P. F Changs which I wasn’t too fond of either. This place had 2 beers on tap. Bass and Hef. The Hef we were served was either leftover hef that I had observed sitting in cups under the tap, or the beer itself was stale in general. Either way, it had a burnt hair aftertaste to it. Will never come back. On a good note, the customer service was great.

Alright, they have a DECENT outdoor area overlooking the pool and a pretty good bar, but I was not impressed at all by this place. I came here by chance on business, grazed on some extremely so so appetizers that seemed like there was a very good chance they were at some extremely recent point in life frozen, and still by the end of the day could not get over how hideous their choice of title and logo for the place was…“indulge” with some awkward purple and green wine bottles/glasses by it or something along those lines. bleh… at least try and look a little more appealing. The only way anyone in San Diego I suppose would ever bother coming here is if they were out of town and staying at the Embassy Suites on business, but if that is you… I don’t even like PF Chang’s but go there instead if you need something convenient and close-by. Indulge tries but fails.
