Food was decent but nothing great, didn’t meet my expectations based on other reviews

Ah! I’m so in love with their flat breads and the desserts here! Of course paired with an award winning red wine. :) The flat breads are so juicy and filled with flavor, unlike other places I’ve gone to. It’s crisp to perfection, without the burnt edges or bottom that you would usually get. My sweet tooth is huge, so I usually get three of their dessert shooters. Which is the perfect size of you had too much to eat, but just want a mini dessert after dinner. The desserts here are so creamy and delicious, you would want to keep eating more! As for the wines, they have a good selection. And they also have a full bar. Not sure when happy hour is, but I would recommend going there at that time. So you would catch all of the great deals they have! One star off for slow service, but she was a sweetheart!

On the plus side: really like the concept of tailoring the menu to seasonal foods. When I went the featured items were peas, asparagus, fish/seafood, and lemon. The food was well prepared. Our server was very good. The ambience with the piano literally in the middle of the bar was nice. On the negative: I thought the cocktails were overpriced and too small, and next time would just go with wine or beer. I was not crazy about the flatbread I shared with a friend, but it was okay. I think I just am not that crazy about flatbread. And overall, it’s expensive. My friend and I split everything and did not eat much, but still shelled out more than I wanted to spend. I did not look it up(friend chose the restaurant) before going there. I would go again but with a budget in mind of what I wanted to spend.

Seasons 52 is a new favorite! I love the décor with all of the wine bottles around the bar, and the piano player playing lovely music… nice touch! We started with an appetizer to share, Duck wing lollipops that consists of Korean Gochujang red chili glaze, sesame seeds. Entrée– I had the southern style scrimp and grits, sautéed shrimp, chorizo, bacon, stone ground cheddar grits, In my opinion they should add more grits however overall this dish is quite tasty. My friend had the wood grilled New York steak-soy garlic marinade, charcoal roasted vegetables, Yukon mash, 15-year aged balsamic drizzle, very tender cut of meat and oh so tasty! YUM! Our waitress Rashelle was very knowledge and attentive, one of the owners came by to check on our table, not by accident he actually knew my friend, however he was very down to earth and personable… great customer service and food… love this place!

Okay, I was pretty harsh about my last review. I forgot to update to say that when I went they were so nice to me and my guests during our business meetup. So, yeah… Season’s 52 in UTC is still A-ok, even if their event prices are exorbitant. I think Unilocal might need to start breaking down reviews like ‘is this review for: takeout, dine in, events”? Etc…

10STAREXPERIENCE When we came here for our anniversary dinner we thought it would be just a nice dinner but we’re we surprised! We came early to avoid the crowd and was seated right away with a smile. Our server upon introducing herself to us presented a anniversary card from seasons. Very nice and unexpected. The server also delivered a complimentary glass of champagne to celebrate our anniversary. Really nice touch. We decided to start with one of their flatbreads that they are known for. We settled on the lobster one with cheese and basil. It was just delicious. Full of flavor and very good and filling too. For our main course we choose the plank roasted salmon and the pork chop. Each was perfectly prepared and garnished with a sauce that was good but not overpowering. To make the dinner even more spectacular, Seasons offered us a complimentary choice of one of their shot glass deserts to top off our anniversary dinner. That was just amazing that a restaurant would arrange such a nice dinner experience. And all this by just calling to make a dinner reservation for our anniversary! And our sever Ana was excellent with attention to details and a pleasant smile. If I could I would give Seasons 52 a 10 star rating l would. Great job!

I’ve been here plenty of times before and had a wonderful experience, but last night was the beginning of a bad rom-com. My girlfriend’s parents were in town for their last night, and I wanted to treat them to a great meal to send them off. What ended up happening was almost the exact opposite. The service was tip top as usual, but the food was… the beginning of a series of unfortunate events. We started with the golden beet salad(which is dope as hell… seriously, you have to try it) and when the main course came out, there were some issues. My girlfriend mistook her risotto for grits due to the lack of flavor, my sautéed veggies were burnt on my medium steak(asked for medium rare), the parents’ veggies were undercooked, and her brother’s veggies were cold. For dessert, I don’t recommend anything with bread or crust in the shooters since they were presumably sitting out for a bit. I had some chocolate chocolate chocolate thing and the chocolate cake in it was dry. This was Act 1 of my night with the perspective in-laws that went into a weird series of passive grudges and a sleepless night. Food really does make a foundation for an evening and for a $ 230+ bill, I don’t think I’ll be coming back.

My better half and I came in for dinner on a Friday night. We were seated right away and ordered up some drinks. I had the Gin Rickey and she had a glass of Chardonnay. So far so good. For an appetizer we ordered the lump crab, shrimp, and spinach stuffed mushrooms. After about 10 minutes we we wondering what was taking so long. About 5 minutes later, a manager came by and told us the baking dish split in two, so they had to put the order in again. While we waiting, we were comped a cup of Asparagus soup, which was very good. The second order of mushrooms came out about 10 minutes later and everything seemed good, until that dish split as well. They offered to put in another order, but we were already half done at that point, and just finished them off. The main course was the star of the show. I had the southern style shrimp and grits and she had the caramelized grilled sea scallops. We both are every last morsel. The red creole sauce on the grits was delicious. My gf was very complimentary about her scallops. The service was very helpful and apologetic over the dish malfunction. It’s a bit pricey, but when the food and service is top notch, it’s more easily justified.

Went here for dinner on a weekend. It was a decent place but a tad pricey for the entrée portions given. I’ll probably come back to try out their happy hour. Service: There probably weren’t enough waiters so service was slow. Other than that, our waiter was helpful in briefly describing the seasonal and chef favorite menu items. Food: I ordered the boneless beef short rib and we each tried a little of each other’s dishes. The food overall was bland and not very memorable. –Duck wing lollipops — Meat was fall-off-the-bone tender but there was no duck flavor. Sauce had a slightly tangy flavor, like that in buffalo wings –Boneless beef short rib — There were two small chunks of beef that were sadly quite dry. Their cheddar grits were good though –Southern style shrimp and grits — Best of the dishes that we ordered. Only downside was the small portion –Cedar plank-roasted salmon — Small salmon fillet was bland but at least not dry, came with a side of roasted roots, a smashed potato, and asparagus

Seasons 52UTC is beautiful. It is perfect for just about any occasion – we even saw a couple kids here(with their families, of course). First of all, valet parking is including with validation. I did not use this option, but would in the future! The service here is pretty great, too. We were served by Dustin, who was super nice and friendly and professional and knew a ton about the menu – super great. From 4 – 6:30 they have their happy hour, which offers $ 5 small plates(they mean small, for sure) and wines/beers. We came here between that time, so we were pretty lucky! We ordered: –sea scallops($ 5): Smoky and sweet and a hint of citrus, and well cooked! They were so tender. I loved them. Two came on a plate, so it is a small portion, but it was really tasty and beautifully presented on a clamshell! –ahi tuna tartare($ 13.50): I LOVE tuna tartare. This was a stack of guacamole and corn, red bell pepper, pineapple, tuna, and microgreens, served with a basket of something like flatbread crisps with black salt. So good. The tartare was really flavorful and had layers of flavor, and the fish was tender and fresh. I was super into this, but also think I have had better before, but this was definitely good. –Half chicken with potato mash and spring vegetables($ 18): This chicken came highly recommended by Dustin, and he was so right. It was tender and juicy and a generous portion, and the potatoes and spring vegetables were a nice addition. So good! –Grilled pork loin with sweet potato mash and green bean/bacon side($ 18.90): The flavor on this was so good, and the cook was great. It was smoky and tender and soft and really good. I was crazy for the sweet potato mash, and need it in my life soon. The green bean, onion, and bacon side was also nice, and had some great asparagus in there as well. It was nothing mind blowing, but was a very pleasant addition to the plate! All in all, it was about $ 58 after tax. We had a $ 10 coupon, so out the door we paid about $ 60 after tip. It is a little more than I usually spend on a meal, but it was seasonal and fresh and plentiful, and the quality was there, so it was a good deal! I would be quick to recommend Seasons52 for any occasion under the sun, and would check it out again because the menu changes each week, and reflects the season. Wonderful!

I’ve been here for lunch twice and enjoyed it both times. The food is really good and the service is excellent. It’s a great spot to take business partners to. I really enjoyed the scallops, and highly recommend them. There is a valet option, but with the mall offering more parking soon I doubt you’ll even need it. I feel like the pictures say it all for this place!

A place that is health and calorie conscious? What’s not to like? All meals are portioned out to be under 500 calories and based on seasonal food. I need that kind of structure in my life! I came here yesterday for a work lunch and had the blackened steak and blue cheese flatbread(470 cal) as a shared appetizer and had the Cedar Plank Roasted Salmon(440 cal) for lunch. The flatbread was so good. I didn’t want to be the only one getting a second slice but boy did I want one! The salmon was tasty as well as the veggies that came with it, which were roasted carrots, asparagus and potatoes. For dessert, they have small parfait sized cake offerings. They bring a selection and you pick from the options. My boss and I had the key lime pie(290 cal). I didn’t feel overly stuffed or disgusted with myself for over eating. It was a nice afternoon. A little dark in the restaurant for my taste, but the servers were friendly and helpful. They have valet right out front, but there is also mall parking available.

Date of visit: 4÷8÷2016 Last Friday, I missed the train home, so Cam had to pick me up from work. We were already planning on going to Fashion Valley to make some clothing returns, but my parent’s were having dinner at Seasons 52 in UTC, so we headed their way. Although they had gotten there significantly earlier than us, the wait staff put down two menus and table settings at the empty chairs at my parent’s table for us and allowed us to order dinner as well. Seasons 52 has a good wine list with a lot of selections available by glass. My Dad and I both had the Bordeaux, which was really great and went well with the NY Strip Steak that I ordered. Our waiter had quite a few tables to cover, but he still stopped by whenever we needed something. NY Strip Steak. This is one of the few items that isn’t 500 calories or less, but it’s because it’s a gigantic portion of steak. The steak was cooked perfectly and the mashed potatoes were great, but I wasn’t a big fan of the sauce or veggies. The veggies were a sauteed mixture of onions, bell peppers, and other soggy vegetables that I couldn’t identify mixed with the sauce that the steak was cooked with. I would have preferred the steak cooked with butter, salt, and pepper, and some steamed veggies instead. This was still a good dish, but I felt like it was too sweet because of the sauce and veggies. Pepperoni Flat Bread. Cam shared the steak with me, so he got a flat bread for his entrée. I had a piece and it was really good. I was actually sad I didn’t get a flat bread instead — next time I’ll definitely be going the flat bread and a small salad route instead of a steak. At the end of the meal, our waiter came by with a selection of desserts. I usually get the chocolate cappuccino dessert, but we decided to skip them this time since we wanted to get a frozen dessert from Godiva. These aren’t complimentary, but aren’t too expensive either — I think it’s $ 3 per dessert, but don’t quote me on that. Overall Seasons 52 is pretty great for a nice night out. It can get pretty loud in the dining room, but the food and wine is nice. I also heard that they sometimes have live music in the bar area.

I’ve dined at the other location(seaport village) and had just an equally pleasant experience but my review is for this location because it’s more recent. Went there for a business lunch with the boss and had a great time. I love their menu is all«low calories» kind of thing, it helps with the guilt. We had the crab cake for appetizer(they are very small, not to be shared) but I’ve had better crab cakes tho. This one was missing something, I’m yet to find out what. For entrée I had the salmon with roasted veggies and my boss had the seabass and we got a side of scallops. Both dishes were delicious and didn’t take too long to come out. Their dessert«samplers» are AMAZING. I had the key lime one and one with peanuts and chocolate… Goodness, I love they are small so we don’t feel so bad. Prices are fair. Great ambiance. Great quality for a chain. Darden group rarely disappoints me.

Great experience! The food and service were excellent. We ordered: Garlic Pesto Chicken Flatbread Crisp Romaine and Tuscan Kale Cesar Asian Glaze Grilled Chicken Skewer Pepperoni Flatbread Garlic Pesto Chicken Flatbread has mozzarella, balsamic onions, chicken, roasted red peppers, arugula, and pesto drizzled over. This was my fave of the two flatbreads as this had more flavors and a good variety of topppings. The pepperoni flatbread was simpler, but still a tasty flatbread. Asian Glaze Chicken Skewers were tender and juicy. Chicken grilled perfectly. It is served on a small kale salad bed which you paired well with the chicken. For dessert, they have a live menu with a variety of small tastings. We ordered the pecan pie, carrot cake, and their version of tiramisu. Desserts were just the right size. Coffee was served fresh and hot. Our server, Dustin was on point. He was friendly, provided recommendations, came often to check up on us and refill drinks quickly. Everything was amazing. I will definitely be back and highly recommend this place.

My last visit made Seasons 52 one of my favorite restaurants! Celebrated my 25th birthday last Thursday — Truth be told, my parents suggested Seasons only because we were shopping @ UTC. So, it wasn’t a place we would have ever gone out of our way to visit. I have only been there one time prior about a two years ago but don’t remember it being this amazing. We were seated outside on the high chairs, and we were lucky to have Dustin as our server. Lets just say, if I have a business, I would track Dustin down to work for me! He was simply amazing. I was so impressed. The way he presented himself was professional yet charming. He asked us what brought us to 52, and the minute we found out it was my birthday, he made the experience even more enjoyable. He kept calling me the guest of honor, and made it seem like we were his only table. Just give him a raise! SOLID. I’ve always been intimated by how fancily dressed people dine here, but I came here for Birthday Meal Part 2 with a close friend. I made a reservation via OpenTable two days prior for Friday at 5:30PM. Note: their RSVP on their website and OpenTable is connected! I prefer OpenTable because they send you s confirmation email, whereas their website does not. We came and were quickly checked in. We still had to wait about 5 minutes before our server came out to get us. By 5:30, the bar was PACKED! And so was the group seating area. We were lead to the back of the restaurant, where it was much more quiet. We quickly ordered: –1 lobster and mozzarella flatbread //YUM! I’ve tasted flatbread at other places, and the dough here tastes more like saltine crackers. However, lobster was generous and it’s definitely a good appetizer to share for 2 – 4 people. –1 sesame grilled salmon(entrée salad) //YUM! Salmon is perfection. Kind of reminds me of teriyaki sauce(maybe it is?) but huge slab that went well with salad! –1 caramelized grilled sea scallop(seafood and fish) //YUM! I don’t remember when was the last time I had good scallop…6 decent sizes, atop a bed of risotto(I could not get enough of it) and broccolini on the side. Looks like a small portion, but AMAZINGLY satisfying. Though some parts of scallop was undercooked but it was still DELICIOUS. –1 mystic mocha(dessert) //not sure if this is the correct name, but it was a good portion size, light and yummy for post dinner! Perfect amount that got me wanting more, but I knew that I shouldn’t… Pros: –amazing ambiance. Super nice place for a date, or any occasion(or not). –great selection. If you know how to pair food + drink, this is the place. If not, they will give you recommendations! Food is beyond simple and amazing. –nice pricing. It looks hella expensive from the outside, but the menus are actually quite budget friendly! Cons: –service was meh. Server was more into helping other people since we just looked like two college students in a group of La Jolla royalties. I hope you liked your tip though you ignored us… –Scam dessert? Silly me to think dessert was on the house. But at the end of the meal, the server comes with a platter of different desserts(literally…not just a menu!) and kind of rubs it in your face to get one. You’re kind of forced to get one… so I did get one. Smart move, Seasons 52. Tips/Observations: –Definitely book for large parties! They have a nice private dining area with glass windows but nice décor for special occasions? –Valet parking is available.(Near Sear’s side and Corner Bakery Café) –If you don’t want dessert, definitely just say no. Not that I regretted getting it, but I just felt that I wanted to get dessert elsewhere. Everything here was light and delicate. Everything is absolutely delicious, but nothing stood out. Great place for just a «‘nice dinner» or even lunch, if you want to beat the crowd!

My husband loves to bring his family when they are out of town. It’s centrally located and we enjoy walking around the shops at Seaport Village. Parking is valet and the restaurant will validate it. We called a day prior to make a reservation near the fire pit. When we arrived we were quickly seated and we actually didn’t require to be seated near the fire pit. There are many overhead heat lamps to keep warm on a chilly night The patio is very relaxing. We have sat at the bar area before with the pianist. I really enjoyed that but the patio was much calmer for my daughter and I could still listen to the pianist. Very lovely! Their menu changes with the seasons, hence the name. I like the variety and that they also have healthy kid menu choices. My husband and I ordered the salmon with smashed potatoes and grilled veggies. It came with a creamy lemon thyme dressing on the side. My husband put it on everything. The salmon was cooked to perfection and the veggies still had a crunch. My husband’s uncle ordered the chicken screwers and a salad. He was very impressed with his food and asked his wife to try his salad because he wanted her to make it for him when they got back to Northern California. My daughter enjoyed her pasta with herbed tomato sauce and a side of mozzarella cheese. I was a little apprehensive about her dinner choice because she is picky when it comes to her pasta. She had no problem with her dish and when our server came to take our dishes she asked for a to go box because it was so good. I enjoy that we can have a great family meal without having to worry about healthy options. This is a big plus since my husband’s family is big on nutrition. The ambiance suits me because I enjoy the piano bar and enjoying a glass of wine with my meal. There is always something for everyone at Seasons 52! Personal Goal: 7⁄100

I had the opportunity to have my Thanksgiving Dinner at Seasons 52. They had a special for $ 27 which included carved white and dark turkey meat, herb stuffing, steamed greens beans, creamy mashed potatoes, cranberry sauce, sweet potatoes, cast iron baked rosemary rolls, and quite the creative mini pumpkin dessert served in a small glass. All the food was quite good and very well prepared. The white turkey meat was surprisingly tender and juicy, not to mention quite tasty as well. The darker meat was very good too, but it was served at a much lower temperature for some reason: room temp to slightly cold. The gravy that accompanied the turkey was very well done. It was light in texture but full great savory flavor. I really enjoyed the fluffy herb stuffing and the very creamy mashed potatoes. They were delicious and I felt like asking for seconds. On second thought, I should of. The green beans were crisp and a perfect al dente. I nice butter sauce would of been nice to go along with them, but I ate them with the cranberry sauce since it was right up against them. The cranberry sauce was vibrant and very tasty. It has a good balance between sweet and tart. The cubed sweet potatoes were tender and sweet. They were a little to sweet for my taste but good nevertheless. I was a huge fan of the rosemary rolls that came in their own mini iron skillet. They had a great herb flavor, slight buttery texture, and arrived piping hot with a very soft and moist texture. I hope they offer these rolls with other items on the menu. The mini pumpkin dessert was bliss. I really enjoyed the crumbled up buttery cookie at the bottom to represent the crust, the soft and creamy pumpkin filling, the sweet white cream a top, then finally the additional ginger cookie place right on top. The dessert was not only tasty, but had great texture and I am big on those textures. I ate at the bar and service was great on that busy day. All the employees were in good spirits and friendly during my whole visit. I say let’s do this more than once a year!

We came here for Restaurant week a few times already and it has been a good experience each time. I love how most of the the food here is delicious and also healthy. They publish their nutrition facts online every year. Coming in, the wait was 45 minutes at least but we managed to grab a bar seat almost immediately. It took the staff a while to to clean the table however, it was a really busy night. We initially wanted to order from the Restaurant Week menu but we wanted to be more selective and ordered off the regular menu instead. Once seated, we got our drink orders relatively quickly but it took our server a while to come back and get our food orders. I guess the bar area doesn’t have the same level of attention as the regular seating. Overall the service was okay… just the initial wait was longer than what we wanted since we were hungry. Lump Crab, Roasted Shrimp & Spinach Stuffed Mushrooms — a great starting appetizer. It is served in six pieces that split evenly for the three of us. Each one should be taken out with a spoon and left on the plate to cool before eating. The mushroom are plump and the stuffing is flavorful. You can taste the crab, shrimp and spinach. Each bite or two is extremely satisfying to the hungry patron. Grilled Boneless Rainbow Trout — I love trout and I was glad to see it on the menu to order. You get both sides of the fillet, heritage carrots and a grilled lemon. The trout was grilled to perfection and was not dry at all. The lemon added the extra kick to balance out the fishiness. SO good. I will probably get this again when I come back. Key Lime Pie — the little indulgences are awesome. The key lime pie is awesomely tangy and the graham crust was on point. I highly recommend this one when it is available. Overall, the experience today wasn’t perfect but it is extremely obvious why this place is popular. The food quality and choices are just great and the little desserts are deliciously dangerous. My friend grabbed FOUR!
