Okay, I am not a huge fan of buffets unless it’s a Vegas buffet. This is not a Vegas, but for what it is and the price point, I think it should be rated much higher. The restaurant is very clean and well lit. The food is tasty and there is a good variety. The employees do pick up your plates in a timely manner, but could stand to pay more attention when you raise your hand for the bill. I have been to this place twice and will continue to go back.

Overall experience was eh. Food was mediocre and makes you feel like crap. Sushi was 3 stars Noodle dishes were 3 stars Coconut shrimp was 4 stars Chicken and broccoli was 4 stars Everything else was soggy and tasted halfway decent Overall the price was fine but food was not all that good. Guess you get what you pay for.

Not the most quality chinese buffet I’ve been to, but for these prices… whatever. The most edible thing that was provided on the buffet was coconut shrimp and white rice. I do LOVE coconut shrimp, so they sold me on that. Everything else looked dried up and not fresh. It seemed pretty clean though. I would probably never go back, but this seemed like a better option price wise over ordering take out. Cheap, but not much selection on the buffet, and a couple yummy options. Have fun and save some money!

It’s an alright buffet. Very small food choice and the food isn’t always the freshest. I enjoy their hot foods but I wouldn’t come here if you’re looking for the crab legs because they weren’t too tasty. I might come again if I was really craving this food but overall for the $ 13/person price I’d go somewhere else.

Good food choices. Wish they had more fruit(just a personal preference). Service was great. Chicken wings were my favorite. Price was a little too high for dinner. I guess the prices vary for lunch & dinner.

Well let’s just say this place has no customer service. They do not care what impression they are giving off to the people who come eat their food. The food was fine for a buffet. As we were leaving, I paid with debit card, and handed back the receipt to our waiter at the front. INMYFACE, he frowned and shook his head because we hadn’t written in a tip. WOW is all I have to say. He barely refilled our drinks & hadn’t seen if we left anything on the table or not. From that experience, I will not be going back. Mediocre food & awful customer service just isn’t my thing.

Despite the reviews and low stars i came here, main reason being that i was invited. Im not ahuge fan of buffets because the good quality is always below average, they always tend to focus on quantity over quality and not the otherway. This restaurant however did not disappoint me. Mind you i came a couple of days before Christmas, while everyone was doing their last minute shopping, so there was not that many people and waiters were able to be a little more attentive. Food was nice and warm and none of it looked like it was sitting out for too long. I have to say the food was delicious. Except for the fried rice, needed more soy sauce. This buffet has a pretty good variety of food. I even tried the nigiri! And i didnt even get sick! Win! All in all it was pretty good. Dont come here expecting great service, language is a huge barrier here. However come hungry!

This place is decent. Is it the best food? God no! But for $ 22 for two with drinks all you can eat, you can’t really be picky. There are plenty of veggie dishes available as well as salad and shrimp. The prepared dishes includes staple Chinese entrées — broccoli chicken, dumplings, coconut shrimp, noodles, mushroom chicken, bow pork, Mongolian beef, egg rolls, egg drop soup, sweet and sour soup, shrimp and veggies, etc. they also have dessert, including the yummy almond cookies and soft serve. The food tasted fresh and was tasty — I wouldn’t entertain here or come here when I’m craving amazing food, but if you’re hungry and broke, give it a shot. The place was clean and the service great.

Been here for lunch and dinner. Buffet prices are reasonable, especially for lunch. My colleagues and I were seated right away. We just missed the lunch rush, since we went an hour later. The food was good. I was good and tried not to overeat. They have more selection of vegetable dishes that I liked. They have everything from soups, salads, sushi, seafood, noodles, chicken skewers, BBQ pork, Chinese favorites like beef and broccoli, stuffed scallops, sautéed veggies, orange chicken, fruits and desserts. I tried their steamed sweet bun. I thought it had some sort of filling, but it didn’t. I was a little disappointed for it not to fulfill it’s name as a sweet bun. I may have grabbed one with no filling or it wasn’t supposed to have a filling at all. Not sure what happened there. Sometimes I forget why my parents always like to take out of town guests here. Good food, great company, private parking lot shared with neighboring businesses and the service was good. Good place to entertain family and friends for some Chinese food and good conversations.

The prices are very reasonable compared to other buffets. Just because it’s cheap does not mean the food is bad either! I came here one evening(Pretty late-almost near closing so they obviously weren’t going to continue making food) I enjoyed the food very much! I know since it was late some of the items have been sitting out for a while and it might be cold, which is what I was fine with! The total was less then 30 for two people for an evening dinner here, and I believe we had drinks too!(I’m not even sure LOL) You’ll encounter anything and everything you usually find in any chinese buffets. Eggrolls, eggdrop soup, hot and sour soup, rice, orange chicken, etc. You get my point. The sushi on the other hand could be a little better, it’s way too cold and the filling just seemed off to me for some reason.(And that’s coming from a huge fan of sushi cheap or not) One thing I did not enjoy was, I paid for my check, and they didn’t give me my change back(I paid at the counter because I couldn’t wait for them to bring it to the table) and I was very confused? Because of something like that, you can keep my 10 $ change go ahead, but I refuse to tip again here due to that. I’m a broke student living on her own in San Diego so 10 $ means the world to me. I tried complaining but hubs told me to just leave and get back to our puppy that we had at the time. But my favorite part was the ice cream, I just loved how tiny the cones are! AHAHAH.

The food was edible and there was a large selection of hot and cold foods. There’s even a sushi station and salad bar. Dessert selection is what you’d find at most Asian buffets: egg tarts, soft serve machine, pastries, tapioca pudding and flan. The restaurant is large and clean for the most part. Servers are pretty attentive in removing your finished plates from the table. Dishes that I enjoyed were orange chicken, mushroom chicken, beef with broccoli and the coconut shrimp. Food was satisfying enough in that greasy, MSG– and corn starch-laden way that Chinese fast food can be. But at $ 8.99 for a buffet smörgåsbord lunch, I really can’t complain.

I really don’t like Chinese buffets or buffets in general, but my boyfriend does so we go every now and then. For the most part this place was okay. It was just a place to grab a quick cheap bite. There is definitely nothing outstanding about it, but I didn’t mind going until I saw something disgusting. Weekends are ridiculously busy, so service is spotty. We waited about ten minutes to be seated. When we were finally seated, our waitress gave us some silverware… and it was filthy! There were bits of food still clinging on to it. I don’t normally use silverware if a restaurant has disposable utensils, but I actually needed to use a spoon to eat my soup. And the only disposable utensil they had were chopsticks Obviously you can’t eat soup with chopsticks so I had to ask for another spoon. And although a got a new«clean» spoon and could not shake the thought of the food that was on the other spoon. Let’s just say I didn’t eat much after. I let my boyfriend eat the rest of his crab legs and then we left. While driving home I told him that we should stay away from that place. He agreed at that was the end of that.

Went at about 8pm and out of about 10 items I grabbed only one was warm which suprised me since they were still busy. Price is 13.99 for dinner on Fridays and it wasnt really worth it but it is still one of the better chinese buffets.

Just found out they don’t have an «A» rating! I called and was told it changed to a «B» a few days ago. Years ago, Hubby and I visited this place often and were usually pleased. So today, during our vacation we were eager to come back. BIGMISTAKE. First of all it looks dirty. We should have walked out but I figured it was just messy because it was so busy. The Hostess seated our party of four. Someone came and took our drink order. When the drinks were brought back the guy just sat them in the middle of the table. No smile, no greetings just BAM! The food was just okay. The restrooms were disgusting. When we paid the check with a bank card instead of ringing the $ 45 charge, it was rang as $ 54! I just happened to be checking our card balance at the time and caught the incorrect entry. When I pointed it out to our server we were treated like we were trying to steal from them. Rather than have a long shouting match I put a zero in for a tip and we left! Never going there again.

Lots of options at this buffet. I enjoyed the fried rice, beef and broccoli, mushroom chicken and pork dumplings. I tasted a few other dishes and got a few crab legs, a bowl of dumpling soup, and a couple pieces of sushi. That’s the beauty of this place and this buffet. You just get to eat to your heart’s desire. The downfall of a buffet is that instead of doing a few things well, there are many things done with mediocrity. I don’t eat enough to find buffets that great of a value, but this one had enough foods that I liked that I would go back. It’s definitely not the«best of» anything and doesn’t provide a memorable dining experience, but as far a Chinese buffets go, it’s ok to me.

THEWORSTSERVICES //ATTITUDES !! Why are they in the Restaurant Business !! Never Never Again… Was in the neighbor with a friend, he liked the food at Sunrise… I was not too much, had a bad experience with the owner’s dad awhile back. I was getting some food to go, I was putting some hot food and sushi in the same box. He came out from the Sushi Station and started yelling at me… What the F*ck… Her daughter«Owner» don’t know her name but she liked a b*tch«May» She said«oh you have to put a different box because Sushi more money«I dropped the box on the counter and left !!! Walked in, May sat us a dirty table near the messy servers station. Same b*tch ugly attitude, If you do’t like your customers, don’t be in restaurant business. She thrown down roll-up settings on the table, walked away with-out a word… Okay… what ever !! Ken came by with two plastic cups of water. He is NO better… The whole time was on his phone… Other girl came by to pick up all the plates. Lazy ASS !! Food was okay… Lady filling the food trays are not a happy capmer either. She kept putting old food on top of the new one, sometime she even mixed old with the new food. OMG… That’s food hazard waiting to happen. First in First out. Old Food, must be discard or put in the front of the pan. I stay away from those dishes. I should have trust my intuition, NEVER, EVER gone into that hell-hole«Sunrise Buffet !! »

Best Asian buffet around? Probably not. But very good quality for the price and a lot of choices that are pretty authentic Chinese and not greasy. If the sushi bar and dim sum were better quality I would up it to 4 stars, but instead it’s a solid 3.5 for me Lunch is just under $ 9 I believe, and Dinner is around $ 14($ 13 for seniors) which is a really good value considering that the food is constantly being refreshed and is hot and fresh. In terms of being authentic it’s pretty solid too and not greasy. My immigrant Chinese parents and I like it enough to be regulars. Dinner(served all day on Sundays) is where you’ll find all the seafood: long Alaskan crab legs, massive oysters, Chinese style lobster, steamed seabass, baked salmon. They always have a sushi station with rolls being made fresh. They tend to be variations of California and vegetarian rolls with non-raw elements, but they also do sushi. The non-rolled sushi(fish atop rice) isn’t the best you’ve had and is a little bland but still the most popular at the sushi station. This place is always crowded so the seafood and sushi get scooped up almost immediately when they come up. The servers who roam the clean and orderly dining room to scoop up your plates are young and polite. Here are some of the items: –Chinese dim sum: mango pudding dumplings with coconut shavings(delicious!), pork shu mai, gyoza, steamed pork buns(not char siu bao), mini egg tarts –Chinese bbq pork(char siu) –Legit salt and pepper shrimp with the shell on –Saucy stir fries: chicken with mushrooms, white chicken and vegetables, beef with onions –Bases: egg fried rice, steamed rice, soft egg noodle chow mein(pretty solid), mee fun(clear vermicelli noodle stir fry) –Fried stuff: chicken wings, breaded fish, fries, egg rolls, crispy orange chicken, battered coconut shrimp –Soups: seafood soup, egg drop soup, Westlake soup, wonton soup –FULL salad bar, pretty impressive, with fresh cut fruit, side salads, Jell-O, pudding, Mexican flan

First timer. Never going back! I arrived there around 11:30am an hour after they opened so I expected nice fresh hot food. Everything I got was cold, there was a bunch of people and food keep coming in but why is it cold? I got a sampler plate of just a tiny bit of everything. Food was okay tasting. Cold. Meats had weird texture. An suddenly I’m full… wait what? I just got here less than 30 minutes ago. I had ate nothing previously and after one plate I’m full but not satisfied, I try to get some other things to try them and I can barely fit anything. I wait, and I still can’t eat anymore, soon then i feel nauseous and like I wanted to throw up. WHATTHEHECKDOYOUPUTINTHEFOOD?! My friend also got a sampler plate, different things that I did and he eats a lot, one of those skinny guys who eats a damn lot and who knows where the food goes. He only had a plate and a half, a bit more than I did. So we stared at each other… WHATTHEHECKDOTHEYPUTINTHEIRFOODTOMAKEYOUFULLFASTER?! We fell so sick after we realized this. Food looks good and shiny but they are probably adding some nasty substances to make their food fill you up faster. I fell so sick and couldn’t eat anything else all day. Very nasty tasting food, nothing was good on the menu. Plus they have too many food modifiers to make you feel full and sick. WOULDNEVERVISITBACKAGAINORRECOMMENDTOANYONE. I gotta research what they put on their food now, horrible experience.
