Subway is an American fast food franchise that sells submarine sandwiches(subs), salads, and soups. It is also one of the fastest growing franchises in the world, with 40,855 restaurants in over 100 countries as of January 2014. It is the largest restaurant operator on earth. That said,(remember, context is everything), it is comforting to know that there is always a Subway nearby. The Governor Drive location is in a gas station, which always makes me uneasy. I have eaten here a few times, but I always wonder what the guy who is making my sandwich was doing before I came in. Was he fixing a transmission? I am aware that that is probably not the case, but I am still nervous anyway. So if you NEED a sandwich RIGHTNOW, this Subway is here to serve you, as they do the other millions around the globe. For me, it is a kind of last resort.

This is my neighborhood Subway. I have been there about 6 times and every time the servers are unfriendly and rude. It doesn’t seem to matter if they are busy or I am the only one. I skip stopping here just because of that. I get the same sandwich at every Subway. The last sandwich I got there was inferior because the flat bread was hard on the edges and too chewy. I often get gas at this station but am no longer going to go to this Subway.

Closest subway to my house, been going there for about 6 years-great service friendly etc fresh veggies all the time-the owners of the gas station etc are great people.

This location makes good subs and stuff. I especially like their oven toasted subs. The employees are nice and helpful. And there aren’t many seats there to eat at so its more of a take-out place.

O Subway of the Mobil Station, you may be the smallest in the nation. Barely a counter inside at which peeps can dine, and a table outside at the gas station fine. Yet crammed behind the sandwich bar, three ladies artfully built a footlong star of chicken, veggies and green chile sauce (that is actually brown-red, like a lip gloss). You asked for cheese, with a smile and laugh, Provolone I replied, but only on half. The first lady heard me and heeded my word. The next lady then fixed my sandwich half-cover’d. Using a coupon I had brought with me along, five dollars and tax for my precious footlong. Parking is wacky, since it’s on Mobil’s besides. But at home, a tasty sandwich met my stomach insides.

You know Subway. Right? It’s the place with good-enough subs and gobs of convenience. The meats are all mediocre, the breads are all processed, the veggies are all sub-peak. You probably go here because of a lack of options(hey, it happens … like … every day). At least this stuff is healthier than mass-assembled cheeseburgers. Oh, and one tip — get the cookies: 3 for $ 1, and generally gooey, as cookies should be. The reason I bothered to write a review is because of the seating outside. The chairs are way, way too low. The seated patrons look like 8 year olds at the grown-ups’ table. It’s embarrassing and uncomfortable. And you’re almost forced to rest your arms on the yucky, gunky plastic patio furniture. Please, property managers, do something about this. If you do, I’ll reward you with a shiny fourth gold star and an affirming smile!
