This location isn’t packed yet the service is great. They’re located near the 15 freeway across from 7 – 11 and McDonalds. They have a drive-thru as well. Dropped by the other day to try the famous pink drink surfacing everywhere around the internet, especially Instagram. Drink was made wonderfully but I wanted to write this review for their service. Typically, Starbucks have pretty good service but this location, specifically the nice gentleman that helped me, displayed great customer service! I tried looking for his name tag but he wasn’t wearing one, so I can’t give him a shout out. The gentleman was a tall barista with brown hair and a beard working on 6⁄13 around 3pm. He had a great personality and displayed superb customer service by taking time to talk to me and make sure the drink I received was made perfectly and what I wanted. Sadly, couldn’t get his name but I hope that management will read this and he will receive the recognition he deserves! The«pink drink» was really refreshing, service was quick and efficient, and I was out of the store in less than 5 minutes. Due to this experience, I’ll make sure to visit this PQ store more when I need to satisfy my Starbuck’s craving(aka obsession). Thanks to the nice gentleman and this Starbucks for making my experience a great one!

This branch is usually my go-to branch since it’s close to the freeway I use and has a drive thru. Having the Starbucks app is extremely helpful when I order because whenever I do, I just go in the store, pick up my stuff, and go. So quick! They get my order right, and the baristas are usually nice, especially ANNA! Hubby and I usually see her working there on Sunday afternoons when we go and grab a drink, and she always makes sure we get what we need and she’s always nice and smiling. This Starbucks branch was also the one where I experienced a couple of years ago the«pay it forward» circumstance where the one in front of me in the drive thru in my surprise already paid for my order, and so I paid for the order of the one behind me to pay the kindness forward :) So far I’m happy with this Starbucks, hope to keep racking up good experiences.

Anna was extremely rude! I walked in at 9:55 to order a quick venti iced coffee. Anna gave me a rude look and I nicely asked if they were closed she said yea so again I nicely asked if she could make it and she answered«yes, but I much rather be cleaning to go home» I forgot to ask for creamer so when I got my dark coffee I asked if the creamer was still out or if it had been put away to the nice gentleman who handed me my drink and again Anna spoke over him and said no, we’re closed! All of this happened before 10(the time they closed) worst Statbucks experience ever!

I just tried the spicy chorizo egg sandwich and it was great! Today I was in a hurry, and needed my coffee fast! I stopped by this location because of their drive-thru. I was a bit undecided on what to have, and mentioned to the cashier that I needed a minute. The person taking orders was very friendly and mentioned he was available to answer any questions or concerns I had about the menu. Usually, the workers just say«let me know when you’re ready to order». The person on the other side was genuinely friendly and helpful. So Kudos to you, whoever you are! I ordered the new chorizo breakfast sandwich and a frappuccino. The wait time was decent, and very convenient having a drive-thru! The outside areas around the store were clean and free of debris. The sandwich looked just like the photo in the email. It was perfectly placed in the wrapper that it didn’t partly slide off at all. I have never seen such perfection in a sandwich that was picked up through drive-thru. Usually I’ll order a sandwich and it looks like it was just thrown into the bag straight from the oven. So thank you to whomever made my meal so pleasant! Great place that accepts cash, credit, etc. I recommend this place to everyone!

This place has outstanding customer service. I didn’t even have to order to know that this Starbucks was one of the best run I have ever been to.

This place is close to my best friend’s house we always walk here and enjoy for a little bit, I like it because it’s close, never too crowded and of course convenient. I have ordered tea most of the times, I like my tea with sugar in the raw and all of those times they never had it on the bins outside where you can«personalize» your coffee, I have always had to ask for those little packets, it’s annoying, I mean seriously Starbucks? Don’t we give you enough of our money to consider yourself cheap? Other than that place is clean and staff is always attentive.

I give you 5 stars because so far this is my favorite Starbucks in SD :) however, please please don’t give me a short straw when I order a venti, I mostly just«watch» my drink today because the straw always fall deep under the lid :( #thestruggleisreal

I use this Starbucks because this is the closest one with drive-thru in my area. I got no complain when I use drive-thru but their in-store service is soooo slow! They are just too busy with taking care of drive-thru. Use drive-thru if you don’t have time.

The drive-thru is the selling point, but when it gets backed up you can end up spending quite a lot of time waiting; sometimes it’s actually faster to go inside(yes, that means you actually have to get out of your car). I’ve never had any issues with them messing up my drinks and the people who work here are really friendly. They have patio seating out front which is nice(plus a relatively small amount of seating indoors), but the entrance to the building is right by the exit to the drive-thru so you really have to be careful to make sure you don’t get hit – speaking from personal experience. People who just got their coffee tend to drive off in a hurry.

I used to love this Starbucks(before my days on Unilocal). The convenience of the drive thru used to be so nice. However these days it’s actually faster to park your car and go inside to get your drink. My mom and I spent over 20 minutes in the drive thru today. It’s not worth it for an iced coffee and a black tea. And the service isn’t nearly as good as it was before. The employees used to be so incredibly nice. I’m not sure what happened.

I’ve gone here 5 times this season and all 5 times, they’ve gotten my drink wrong so I’ve had to get back in line and waste time for them to fix it or just accept a drink I didn’t want because I don’t have time to wait again. Today was the LAST time I’ll be going here because they can’t even get my simple peppermint white mocha order correct. Sometimes I need a coffee to make it though my long day and when that doesn’t even go right, I’m done.

Been coming here for years but never took the time to review or even check in. It is conveniently located right off the freeway which makes it so easy to get in and out of! The drive thru is difficult to enter depending if you’re coming in from the main road or from the IHOP side. The staff are very friendly and always prepare my drinks or meals quickly and with a smile. Thanks for keeping me sane and energized for all these years PQ Starbucks!

Ok Starbucks, this is the second time that I ordered mocha from you(this location) and it’s only filled ¾ of the way. Highly disappointed. Also, when I give you my credit card to load my gift card, i expect to have my gift card used for the purchase not my credit card. Especially when I’ve asked twice.

Whenever I see Starbucks drive thru’s I get tempted to stop by. I ordered a custom drink per usual. The barista definitely didn’t skimp out on the extra caramel sauce. They put too much actually but it looked really pretty. If I’m in the area and craving Starbucks I’d go here.

Please note that this happened months ago but I didn’t realize it hadn’t been posted. OMG! Talk about the worst experience ever! I go to Starbucks every day 7 days a week. I get up at 5:30am get a Pikes Place grande coffee at my local store in Scripps Ranch and then on my way to work I get a refill. Today I stopped at the Ranch Penasquitos branch and while I was putting cream in an employee came to me to say I was not allowed to get a refill unless I purchased the coffee in their store. I was mortified no one has ever told me this and I felt terrible plus a customer joined in to say people save their cups and get free coffee every day. I will never go back there and if this is the policy it should be posted. I felt horrible :(I even tried to show that I had just purchased my coffee as I have the application on my phone. The worst way to start your day.

Normally this place is 2 – 3 starts because the drive thru line is atrocious. But stopped by today and went inside to get my usual iced coffee. This location is right off the 15 fwy and as mentioned above has a drive thru. Parking can be a bit of a hassle as they share parking with an IHOP. There used to be an MXN restaurant(previously Santanas for all you OG’s out there) in same plaza but MXN has now changed to Don Rios(review to follow). The iced coffee today made by Cayla(?) was great and she was incredibly efficient and nice. Plus, they ran outta pumpkin bread samps so she made me a new one. I swear free samples will make anyone’s crummy date instantly better :) The wifi here isn’t all that great and it’s best to turn off their wifi actually as it makes it heaps easier to send outgoing mail(in your email box on phone). Don’t forget that you can use your freebie(from gold card) ONANYITEM in store so don’t waste that on a dumb cup of coffee. Use that reward to buy a high ticket item(ie sandwich, bistro box, etc).

Went here on a Monday expecting it to be busy. Since the Starbucks near my house had line out the door. I saw the line and said forget it. I thought I’d try it out since its only drive thru I know of near by. Drove in and there were no convenient parking spaces. Went to the drive thru and there was only one other car in front of me. I like the speed of the drive thru but the barista at the window didn’t look to happy to be there. Ordered a macchiato and yogurt. She didn’t really say anything to me at the window just shoved it at me. Maybe the staff needs a lesson on faking it till you make.

Starbucks ruined my morning. Yes– your morning coffee is THAT important when you’re a coffee fiend. Especially when you are not a morning person and your shift starts at 545. Especially when Starbucks taunts you with amazing drinks that you expect to come out a certain way. Especially when you’re paying $ 5 for it. The new Chestnut Praline Latte came out and so I’ve been thinking about it after my first taste a couple of days ago. It’s incredible! This morning I skipped essential get-ready steps(hair looks like a mop!) to make it to starbucks before my shift. I’ve been to this location many times before with slow service but I didn’t care because the location is perfect for me and today my venti latte felt light. I just chocked it up to whipped cream or something and stuck it in the cup holder and continued to work. I got to work and it felt light again so I opened it and it was barely filled over half way!!! Are you kidding me? How does someone make that mistake?! I mean you’re staring down at the cup when you put the lid on. Not to mention the skinny part of the cup is on the bottom so it was probably half full. I showed my coworkers and everyone was shocked. Starbucks– you need to do better than this when people are paying $ 5 for a coffee.
