House salad is only lettuce. Sooooo disappointed. Denny’s puts a bit more of an effort. Service is good though.

Horrible service with slow waitresses who are extremely rude and sassy. Don’t try to get up and go to the bathroom because Claudia will assume you’re trying to dine and ditch. Don’t bother trying to ask for anything after your food because you won’t get it. They’ll give you your mediocre food and leave you alone and ignore you until it’s time to pay. Then, they’ll think a smiley face on your receipt will make the experience all better. Dry food, microwaved food?, and over priced. All added onto horrible service. If you get Claudia… Leave. The other man next to us waited 15 minutes before finally flagging someone down to get a glass of water! The only reason I gave one star was because the butter and syrup were delicious. Everything else tasted microwaved and mediocre. I love IHOP, but not this IHOP.

Food was good, except for the limp bacon that I ordered crispy. The table was not clean when we arrived. I got no silverware to begin with.

If you are hungry and want a nice place to eat with friends. DO NOT GO HERE. This place was not even busy on a Saturday night. Got drinks 49 minutes later no food. Told our server we were leaving and she said «I was going to tell you to just leave because the food is taking too long» Never have I ever heard this from an establishment that needs our business. Where is undercover boss when you need them to check out I-​hop. We will never come here again. We work to hard for our money for bad service. I do not know how they stay open.

It was simply ok. The food took awhile, but it was satisfactory and good. Nothing too big to write home about. I will say the tables are too small!

Came n here @ the request of a friend. Service was good and fast. Hostess & waitress were both polite, but prices were a bit shocking. Omelettes are around $ 15. Add a cup of coffee @ approx $ 3 + tip n u leave the place $ 20 poorer n still hungry. I got the California Scramble comes with hash browns or smashed red potatoes, 2 pancakes or toast or tortillas. Eggs & potatoes were ok, nothing 2 write home about. It was the cheapest item on the menu. Definitely NOT filling! Place was neat/​tidy. It’s akin 2 an expensive Denny’s; wasn’t impressed.

Very disappointing. We usually get excellent service here. We went here for the all-​you-​can-​eat pancakes. Being Superbowl Sunday, there were only 3 or 4 tables occupied, so they weren’t busy. The food seemed to take forever to arrive, but tasted very good. All three stars go to the cook. On our third try, we finally managed to stop the waiter (Isaiah M) and ask him for more water. He brought one glass for the two of us (even though both glasses were empty). He never asked if we wanted more pancakes, and eventually he passed by and dropped off the bill, with the second glass of water still sitting there, empty. We gave up and left.
Very disappointing. We expected better.

Breakfast… IHOP can do no wrong with breakfast. Settle in have some coffee and get a tasty breakfast here. The pancakes are fluffy and delicious.

AWFUL service and our food took forever and was cold when we finally got it. I’d rethink eating here.

Extremely slow service. Food was cold when we finally got it. Crepes were like mush. Found a stem in my quesadilla. Bathroom was disgusting! It’d be worth it to drive an extra few minutes to a different ihop.

I spent 40 minutes waiting for my food. Asked for the manager and, just as my food, never showed on my table. I left with and empty stomach, bad humor and an hour lost of my saturday morning.
There’s anothe iHop in Mira mesa, 5 minute drive, or Dennis. You better go there.

Sometimes you need to just have a hearty breakfast and when you do IHOP is the place to visit.
It’s located right off the freeway and has decent parking shared with Starbucks so it does get busy.
Food And service are always good enough where I can’t complain. It’s not anything you’ll write home to about but you will leave full without breaking the bank.
I love that they have all the condiments as well as syrups for your pancakes.
Been coming here for years but not religiously. There’s too many options within ten miles from where I live and this just doesn’t come to mind but when it does I always wonder why don’t I frequent this place more often…
It been renovated recently so all the décor in the dining area and enclosed patio are in great shape and there is even new carpet.
Come by and give them a try when craving a breakfast and you don’t want to visit Broken Yolk or Denny’s.

Dirty and disgusting place. Order the food but when saw roaches on table, told that to manager and Left that place.

Just finished eating here. Terrible customer service.
–waited 20 minutes to be asked what we would like to drink.
–another 30 minutes for macaroni and cheese, an omelette and rib tips that were not even warm.
–Jackie (Micheal Vick Eagles Jersey.) our waitress had a bubbly personality and that’s it. We actually had to ask the hostess about our drinks before Jackie arrived.
In short, I won’t have to worry about the service here again because I am never going back.

The worst breakfast dinning experience I’ve ever had.

* my girlfriend ended up with 4 halfway cokes on our table by the time we left. Never bussed the table AT ALL!

Went there for a late lunch with the family. Place was not busy at all. Seated and waitress took drink order right away. Arrived with drinks and that is when we experienced the first of a long list of inexcusable poor service.
To make it short, no straws, no cutlery (had to go in the kitchen to try to track someone down), every idem including drinks were not ordered correctly, cold food, ECT… I know that this is not a 5 star restaurant but, COME ON!!!
With a manger giving us a 20% off discount for poor service it still came to over $ 35 for three of us. I did not even get a chance to look at the bill because I was so upset with the service and could no longer wait any further. Just pay and go– do not come back.
I use to live very close to this IHOP and have come here very often. The service has been excellent before. Something has changed recently and we will not be back!!!

I like this Ihop compared to Mira Mesa. Yes, it’s smaller, but the customer service is better. Worth the wait.
Their food is always great. Who does not want breakfast food any time of day? They have new summer pancakes that look great! So far I’ve only tried the blueberry with lemonade sauce one. Tasted great.

This is my family’s Sunday breakfast place. They literally go here every Sunday after church and the staff remembers them. Cam and I decided to run here from my parent’s house (only 5 miles) and meet them for breakfast after they were done at church.
The parking lot in front of the restaurant is very small and belongs to the Starbucks and day spa. You can park on the sides or behind the hotel. The spots tend to be a bit small, so use caution when opening your doors. Alternatively you can park farther away.
Emy: Big Steak Omelette, easy on the cheese, sub spinach for mushrooms and onions. My omelette came out exactly as ordered (I know, I’m picky). My Mom tried some of it and also liked it a lot. The only downside was that the cheese wasn’t melted and the salsa was gross. I’m not sure what they use for salsa, but it tasted like cold tomato sauce with a metallic aftertaste.
Cam: Waffle with Berries and Cream combo. Cam seemed to like his dish and ate everything. That also might have had to do with the run. He mentioned that it was typical diner food, so nothing was terrible about his meal.
Anthony & Dad: Omelettes. Anthony and my Dad both got omelettes and proceeded to smother them in hot sauce (like father, like son?). I can’t remember the specific omelettes, but I think this is their usual order and they seemed to enjoy their food.
Mom: A little bit of everything. The portions at IHOP are pretty generous for the price and they are more than happy to give my Mom a clean plate so she can eat a little bit of everyone’s meal. She really liked all of the omelettes we got.
Overall, I like IHOP and will probably go back only because my family is going there. The staff is also very friendly and has a good memory for my family, which is really nice. I’ll admit that I sometimes get a craving for their ham and egg melt sandwich with hash browns, but it’s definitely not a breakfast place I would favor over others.

While servers Cindy and Elena were very nice, unfortunately the whole meal was lackluster. To be fair, there was an unexpected number of tables due to the fire evacuation, so the food took a long time to come out.
–The mozzerella sticks weren’t hot and gooey. They sat too long and the appetizer came out with the meals.
+My son’s funny face chocolate pancake was the most successful dish– chocolate happiness.
–The Country fried steak had sat so long the sausage gravy sauce had separated, and looked unappetizing.
–The mashed potatoes didn’t taste fresh; they tasted reconstituted from a box.
–The iced tea had an odd flavor– and believe me, we order lots of ice tea at many different places.
–To top it off, the ladies room was fine, but the men’s restroom was disgusting.
Sad to report: though the servers were nice, the food was just not good on this visit.
