Food not good service suck!!! Very bad. Never coming back to this place. We order clam chowder and they forgot to serve it to us, and they added to our bill.

Promptly seated. Great margaritas. The giant onion rings are really giant! I had bread bowl with clam chowder and it was hot and just what I expected.

The view is amazing! Food is decently priced for the value and taste. A cute place to go for a date while you are out and about I’m Seaport Village.

First visit. Sunday afternoon for lunch. What a wonderful view!!! Service was very attentive. We were torn between the crab dip & ceviche… Our server recommended the steamed mussels… I am glad he did… absolutely amazing!!! We decided to go with the lunch specials the Ginger crusted Ahi sandwich & the seafood enchiladas. Both were plentiful and had such amazing favors. I would strongly recommend visiting.

Great views but do not go there for fancy food. Stick to the basics(fish tacos, fish & chips, salads, etc…) and you wont be too disappointed. Service however is very lacking. Decent affordable choice by the water.

Stopped in for lunch while walking around. We had the fish & chips and stuffed mahi mahi. The food was ok, nothing spectacular. I hoped for more flavor in the stuffed mahi mahi… Service was also ok, can’t complain. I give it a rating of «eh»

Had the spicy crab dip which was good, and the stuffed shrimp which was actually good too. What really got me was the mojito lemonade, I think that’s what it was. It was delicious, nice combination. Will most definitely be returning.

Tough for me to score the pier 1 star. It was the first place I worked in SD when I moved here in the 90’s, it WAS a great restaurant. Used to focus on quality, now they seem to focus on just being lucky to have the location. Pros: Location location location, you’re on the water. How can you beat that? Cons: Service or lack of. The majority of the staff have a lot of trouble with English. Could be why we asked for bread 3 times and finally were brought a bread bowl of chowder. Our waiter was rarely around which is odd since the place is very small and we sat by the kitchen. Food was maybe a 2 out of 5 but not worth the trouble. Both Hostess looked like they hated their job, since I knew the table #‘s I asked if 116 was open, to which he replied«I don’t know but we can walk back there». How do you not know? You have a board that tells you what’s open and what’s not, BTW that’s your job! Really sad they’ve just milked the location and gone the route of easy to schedule staff that should still be busing tables until they learn how to serve. If you want to have a view, go the to the fish market within walking distance.

The location and view is the most drawing part of this San Diego restaurant! It extends out into the bay so the water is literally lapping the wood sick right outside your window. The staff was friendly, but the food was overpriced for the quality as well as the drinks. This is not a place I would need to visit again before leaving, but the view made for a relaxing lunch break.

Wonderful view! We ate lunch sitting at the perfect corner table so both of us seated facing the water. Views of the passing boats and the Coranado Bridge were quite enjoyable! Fish and chips and the crab cakes arrived quickly and were tasty. We enjoyed local beers as we dined. We will definitely be back next time we are in San Diego!

Worst experience ever. My family and I were seated and they told us that outside food was not allowed. The outside food that I brought was a food specifically for my kids allergies and the young male server said rudely to us that we could order from their menu instead. It didn’t make sense that I already have a specially accommodated food for my child and they wanted me to buy something from theirs. We decided to leave due to the servers attitude. All experience aside, we noticed that the tables/utensils were dirty and upon leaving, people around us told us not to eat there because they too had bad experience with the food and server alone. Pay attention to the low reviews from here and spend your money at a better restaurant down the way(harbor house restaurant). They were very accommodating to our child’s food and we were happy to spend our money here.

Come here for appetizers and the view. Skip it if you’re looking for an actual meal. The service was decent. The onion rings were awesome but the rest of the food we ordered was barely edible.

HUngry EYES? Yes, eat here, the view is amazing. Actually hungry for food? DON’T eat here!!! The saving grace was the sweet girls who work here, it’s not their fault the kitchen makes terrible food. GAh! So upsetting I couldn’t even zen out to the view after my wings came out like boiled chicken slathered in orangey hot sauce. No garlic in sight, the picture I took was AFTER it was sent to have it remade… I regret it even then, it was so SALTY it stings your tongue. How does that even happen? Order the wings and find out for yourself :/Oh and the fettuccine? It comes with an unwanted side of watery soup they call sauce. Chef Ramsey where are you!!! I couldn’t check Unilocal since my phone was low on battery, but if you’re reading this… YOUCAN SaVE yourself the agony. Keep walking, there’s other places with great views.

This was my first time here. We got sat immediately. We looked over the menu and waited for our server to come greet us. It took about 10 minutes for someone to arrive. We grew impatient and anticipated to leave but we gave it a chance. She took our drink and food orders. I ordered the fish and chips and my sister ordered a cup of clam chowder. They tasted fine but not extravagant. Our server wasn’t really active with us. We had to wait a long time for the check to arrive and it was on the pricier side. I guess we were paying for the great view. I think this café has a lot of potential. The view is beautiful as it lures the guests in. I think they could work a bit on improving their food and customer service.

For a restaurant that attracts tourists because of the view(the building is ON the water with expansive glass windows), I was surprised that the food was pretty decent here. There are a ton of entrée choices beyond just basic fish and chips or fried seafood, which the waiter advised are their most popular items. Most of the entrees are over $ 20, which seems a little pricey given that this seems like a casual place. But if you want basic fish and chips or something smaller its around $ 15. You’re definitely paying for the view. My dining companion ordered the Jambalaya($ 24.50 pretty expensive for not a huge portion) which had a great, slightly spicy flavor from the Andouille sausage and felt hearty and somewhat healthy. I ordered one of the day’s specials, seafood enchiladas. Since that was ~$ 17, I wasn’t expecting much seafood, but it was actually nicely packed with scallops, shrimp, and big chunks of fish(cod?), and with the rice and beans was a great value. My other dining companion ordered the chicken milanese($ 22.50) which looked mighty big and impressive. Service was good, had our drinks refilled and we weren’t kept waiting. This is a good spot for taking people who have never been to San Diego and want to have a casual meal on the water downtown.
