Don’t stay here. I gave these assholes hundreds of dollars during my 3 week stay. They wrongfully keyed into my room while I was at work one day, discovered that I have and use a ‘medical’ card here in California and rudely forced me to leave. I know what you’re thinking, but I practically live in hotels in my line of work and I comply with their non smoking policies and respect my ‘home’. It’s nobody’s business how anyone spends their free time, least of all a nosy hotel manager, and I didn’t appreciate having the privacy that I’d paid for violated, being judged afterward and then given only one hour to pack up and locate a new hotel while the maintenance man stood at the door waiting to escort me out. So, don’t stay here unless you don’t mind anyone going into your room while you’re out despite the do not disturb tag, going through your property and then casting judgement on what type of person you must be before kicking you out. I’m a 36yo professional who minds his own business, you can trust that had they stayed out of my room my business relationship with this hotel would have continued to be an average experience. It’s a typical, shitty Quality Inn otherwise… nothing special.

Great location, easy freeway access so heading out to the beach and zoo was simple. Service was great, the staff was very responsive and friendly. Breakfast was good, clean area and staff kept trays full.

We booked this place through Groupon, and it was a great deal for the room we reserved for. We booked for a non-smoking king with bunk beds. Loved the location, as it is close to a mall. Checking in was a breeze. The room was big, spacious, and clean. The bathroom was roomy. Our kids loved the bunk beds, they even had their own TV to watch from. The beds were very comfy and had lots of pillows(extra pillows in the closet). I only gave it 4 stars because their walls are very thin. I can hear everything outside. The pool is in the center of the place so we can hear everything from there. We were at the first floor, so we could also hear foot pads from upstairs. On the last night of our stay, there was someone knocking on the door nearby almost to breaking it down(it was that bad). No shouting or anything, but I guess we could have called the front desk about it. Overall, still a good experience. Wouldn’t mind staying there again, despite the thin walls.

DONOTSTAYHERE! They discriminate against veterans and service animals. Way to support those who fight for your freedom. NOT! I wish there was the ability to provide a zero star rating. By far the worst place I’ve ever stayed! I’ve stayed at several hotels and this place was the worst! The operations manager is rude and has no regard for paying customers! She actually had the audacity to kick us out giving us 20 minutes to pack our stuff due to our service animal, which is registered and was okayed by the front desk and management. Additionally, we had paid for the hotel room for five days and was told to leave on the second day. We never had an opportunity to speak with her, as she simply got into her car after telling the front desk to have us kicked out and insulted me while she was getting in her car and then drove away. after that she even had the audacity to call the front desk and tell them that if we were not out in 20 minutes to call the police! We did nothing wrong other then be good paying customers! Who does that?! On the morning we were kicked out she actually asked me, while I was sitting outside on a bench in a seating area, if I was staying at the hotel. I replied that yes I was and she told me that I cannot sit outside in my pajama pants because it represents her hotel negatively even though there were several other hotel occupants wandering around outside in similar attire… pajama pants, robes, torn up clothes, etc. All I was wearing was a pair of pajama pants and a sweatshirt. I would comment on the other things she said to me, but I feel that it would be inappropriate for this site. She never once indicated who she was or that she worked for the hotel, as she simply pulled up in her personal car and began to insult me. I get up to my hotel room and I’m told that I have 20 minutes to leave the property. To this date we are still waiting for a refund for the rest of our stay and the deposit, which we have not received. We are looking into filing a report and civil suit against this hotel due to kicking us out for having a registered service animal for a marine veteran. The rest of the staff was nice and courteous, but if their management and operations department operate in this manner they should not be in business or seriously look into hiring people who have more experience in hospitality. I was given her business card by the gentleman working the front desk and I will be in contact with her or at least our lawyer will for discrimination and refusing to allow a service animal despite the laws!
