I like this place bc it is easy to pick up food and there is a market connected to it. I usually just pick up phở to go with flank steak. The flank steak is not that tender and is really fatty. I judge phở places by the broth. Their beef broth is really dark but has a good flavor.

The best prices. Huge portions. Great flavor. Try this place out again if you haven’t been here in awhile. They really stepped it up. Take my word for it. I’m fat and fat people know where to eat.(:

I had a pleasant experience here. I ordered beef phở with everything and it was delicious! Service was friendly as well and pricing is fair. It’s located inside lucky seafood. I would definitely come back for a phở fix.

Located inside the Lucky Seafood supermarket, this place really has solid Phở. The portions of meat and noodles are very generous and the price is pretty standard compared to other phở places in the area. In addition to phở they also have a variety of rice dishes, rice noodle soups, and basic Vietnamese appetizers like spring rolls and egg rolls. The veggie plate here is also very fresh and plentiful which should be expected since it’s located inside a supermarket. The only hit or miss thing here is the service. Usually it’s good but during my last visit the waiter messed up my order pretty bad. I got my usual #1 with no tripe and add beef balls and an order of spring rolls. My spring rolls never came out and it seemed as though this guy put in a triple order of tripe since there was a crazy amount of it in my phở. I did let them know about both issues and all I got was a simple sorry. Since this place is very spacious it can easily accommodate large groups. Overall this is a solid place for phở but I think Phở Cow Cali across the street wins by a few points.

One of my favorite spots for phở in San Diego! The broth is extremely rich and darker compared to some other phở restaurants. The veggies are fresh and the meat cuts are tender(helps that they are connected with Lucky Seafood). I always go for the Dac Biet or the Dac Biet Xe Lua if I’m really phockin hungry and it never disappoints.

Great phở here. The broth is killer, but there’s a good amount of MSG in it as I always drink about 4 glasses of water afterwards. Get the Phở Tai and request the raw meat on the side. This way you can cook it in the broth just the way you like.

Our go-to phở spot! I think all the Vietnamese restaurants in Mira Mesa are great. it just comes down to convenience and service. Phở Lucky is the closest from our place. Price is good. Food is awesome. Parking is plentiful. Good for large groups. We always order #1 phở dac biet with eggrolls. Also tried bun bo hue and other vermicelli dishes. and their boba drinks. Mmm. *burp*

We popped in for a quick lunch and were pleasantly surprised. We love the noodle house we usually go to but this place may have better flavor! The chicken noodle soup is awesome! The veggie noodle wasn’t as flavorful, but the amount of veggies was generous. The spring rolls were average. The atmosphere feels like a cafeteria but we didn’t mind. We had a great time! I’d go back for the chicken soup for sure!

If you are looking for a Phở place in mira mesa area this is a good spot. Fast service, great phở, I usually get #17 which is phở soup with well done steak. Warning: If you go to Phở Lucky during lunch hour expect a rushed service, once they bring the food you might not see your waiter again so order all you want on the first round.

This place used to be my go to spot for phở because the broth was good. Had been going here for years. However my opinion has changed. On three seperate occasions I had found bugs in my food. 1. I found a dead fly floating in my brtoh after already taking a couple of sips of broth. Instant gag and yuck, lost my appetite. 2. On one occasion I had found a little cocoon thing in the lettuce that was ised to wrap around eggrolls. 3. This was the final straw. Again i found another bug like thing in my brtoh. It was a little shell thingy that had lega in it. After finding bugs and for the sake of sanitary food establishments, I had decided to stop going here. You simply cant keep going to an establishment if you find insects in something you expect to be eating. My money will be going elsewhere. Beware of bugs.

My family and I have been loyal customers to this place since we moved to San Diego over 10 years ago. We have yet to find a phở restaurant that we like more. The phở is stellar. The broth isn’t overly fatty and is perfectly flavored. Besides delicious phở, this place has a bunch of different yummy rice dishes to choose from.(I actually ordered a rice dish when I came here for dinner today). Recently, they added boba and smoothies to the menu, but I would skip on those(they are made from powders and taste artificial). Regardless, Phở Lucky is a phở place first and foremost, so I’m not judging it on the boba. The cherry on top is that the service is fast, and the staff is friendly. You can’t go wrong with coming here!

My favorite phở place in San Diego, hands down. They have the best broth and food comes out fast. I come here so regularly they know my order along with my special request for sate. My water cup is always filled and phở is consistently delicious. Don’t mind that it’s in a Vietnamese grocery store. EVENBETTER! I can go grocery shopping afterwards. It’s a win win

In my opinion, one of the best home style phở restaurants in Mira Mesa. The broth is never over fatty, it’s a perfect amount of fat. Also, it has an authentic ox tail taste to it without the heavy MSG add-ins. Although the broth isn’t fatty, I’m always the one to ask for nouc beo and add it into my phở, it adds an awesome flavor.

I’ve been to DOZENS of phở places around San Diego… and I always come back here. Simply the best bowl of phở in San Diego. Herbal. Beefy. Not too defatted. Always a generous plater of herbs. And, super friendly guys working here.(Well, friendly for a phở place.) I’m here twice a week at least. #14…steak on the side. Every single time. And, the egg rolls are absolutely on point. Just go here. And, thank me later.

I’ve been coming to Phở Lucky ever since I moved to California… so that’s about 9 years now! It’s my family’s favorite Phở place, and we have definitely witnessed it’s big and small changes. This place tastes so much like home-even if someone tries to recommend me somewhere else, I still think this place tastes the best, regardless. We always order: -#1 noodle soup(all types of meat, plus tendon/tripe, etctera) -#16 noodle soup(rare, and well-done steak pieces) –Any type of vermicelli is good here They used to have this deal where if you bought a bowl of phở, you could get a soda for free! Not anymore.(Guess we maximized it too much…) Pros: –I love my soup HOT! This is seriously my biggest pet-peeve. Most phở places have their soup on simmer or something. but this place definitely makes sure their broth is piping hot before putting ladles full of it over your noodles. –Good service! Before they used to be really understaffed, but now they started hiring more people… so yay for fast(er) service! –Good portion! They used to serve HUGE bowls, and I’ve seen them diminish over the years. Oh wells, weight control! But still worth it. –Good pricing! Though the prices are more expensive than it was a few years ago, but it’s still decently priced for the amount. Cons: –Inconsistent portion size. I believe this is family run, so I can’t complain much. But nonetheless, can’t complain. Tips/observations: –Our family likes to ask for our bean sprouts cooked! This means they boil it in hot water for about 30 seconds. This ensures that it is clean when you eat it, since most restaurants just rip it out of the package. –You can reserve seating here! Do this if you have a large party. –Eat here before you go shopping! You CANNOT bring your shopping cart here!(Or you could, but then you have to leave it at the front…) –They completely renovated this place! Used to have real chopsticks, now they changed to all plastic/wood. Not sure if that’s an upgrade or downgrade? Overall, love coming here with my family! Definitely a place that my family shares many memories with.

Im vietnamese and i grew up eating homemade phở every week. I came out of my mom wearing a rice hat. This place was pretty good. Decent price for big portions and the phở was excellent. The broth was flavorful and meat tender. The place isnt the cleanest but its better than phở cow. Our server had bigass painted eyebrows. Just thought i should add that. Ill probably be going here for my regular phở fixes. But seriously, his drawn eyebrows were so big that I think he had a canvas on his face. He was nice though. It sucks not that many people know about this place because it blends in with the supermarket. Go here though. His eyebrows had a wider wingspan than a Boeing 747.

I have not eaten here in awhile & decided to give my regular place, Phở Cow Cali, a break. I ordered my usual #17(Well Done Steak) & the meat tasted rubbery. This is not my favorite place for phở but they do give you a lot of noodles & the service is great. Your glass of water will always be full.

An alternative because Phở Cow Cali was busy. This place was no wait on New Year’s Day. Definitely can’t beat $ 6 for a bowl of phở! The broth was yummy and didn’t seem too oily like other places. Service and staff was very friendly. The server who brought our food was pleasant and made funny jokes with us. Always a plus and hard to find at a quick grab and go place like this. This might be the new spot for us to go!

This place has been here forever and I finally decided to give it a shot. I haven’t had phở in quite a while but the weather made me crave for it. So here’s the breakdown: Goods: + Good portions of meat + Decently priced + Food came out quickly So So: — Noodles were overcooked and soft — Pretty much had to waive down a waiter everytime and the restaurant wasn’t busy at all. — Nothing spectacular about the broth — Didn’t have sawtooth mint.

Great Phở place, conveniently located right next to Lucky Seafood Supermarket along Mira Mesa Blvd. The prices on the menu is affordable, the dining area is clean and they have a lot of seating space, the food is delicious this is definitely one of the best place to get Phở in Mira Mesa… I swear! Try #12 Phở rare steak and brisket, #19 Phở meatball and #40 Pork BBQ, meatloaf and pork rind and the spring rolls and peanut sauce is just YUMMMY! One thing I don’t like about this place is their restroom. People from the supermarket who aren’t dining uses the restaurant restroom and there’s a few times the toilet is clogged, eeeewwww.
