Nekter Juice Bar

LOVE THIS PLACE! Great pittaya bowls and juices… very clean on the inside. Parking is not great during lunch hours but any time before or after you won’t have any issues.

This is one of the best just bars in town! I absolutely love this place highly recommend it. The Greenie is the best drink on the menu. Also the berry banana bowl you can’t go wrong with that. Great atmosphere the employees there are very nice and I just all-​around love this place.

This is my go to acai spot! Not only are the acai bowls delicious but I feel like for the price, Nekter definitely makes it worth it (usually they give me a decent amount of granola and fruit.) So far the toxin flush is my favorite juice, I always add pineapple to balance out spiciness from the ginger. My only compliant so far is although I do have the app, for some reason ordering thru it has never worked, don’t know if its my phone or the app itself…

I’m a big fan of this place. I’ve been to a quite a few juice bars but Nekter stands out amongst the rest of them. Every juice item on the menu is really good and refreshing and the staff is very friendly. I don’t mind the long wait especially since they blend the juice after every order. I’ve been to many juice bars that have blended juices sitting on ice or in the fridge to provide that quicker turn around but the flavor isn’t nearly as good when they do that.

I don’t really understand the low ratings for the place. It’s affordable and the people are real friendly! Most juice places charge $ 10+ for juices, smoothies and their available bowls! Here you pay $ 5.50 (at least). And they’re delicious!
In addition to the menu items you can order, they also have pressed juices and (of course) a juice cleanse you can purchase. My most favorite (aside from the acai bowl) is the toxin flush!

During my daily commute from work (San Diego) to home (Temecula) I decided to stop by this location to pick up the 3 day cleanse since it was on sale and I was worried I wouldn’t make it to the Temecula location before closing. I walked into the store (it was clean, the two associates were very nice) and paid for the cleanse and a green apple detox (freakin’ delish and refreshing) for the rest of the drive home. On my way out, I pick up a cleanse bag from the fridge. When I get home, I find that there are only 6 drinks in my bag! 6… When there should be 18! I walked out of the store pretty slowly and I know the associates saw me but I guess they didn’t realize that I paid for 3 days and only walked out with 1. I immediately call the store, at which point they were closed, so I leave a message. The next morning I get a call from the store manager, Danny.
Now before I keep going, I have to admit that I am HUGE on customer service. I am rarely wowed by anyone but Danny not only called me back so promptly but he was very nice and apologetic. On top of that, he delivers the rest of the juice from Carmel Mountain to Temecula without any attitude or hesitation (not visible to me at least, haha) and he even asked how my cleanse was going! That’s 1hr+ drive and a good attitude to boot!
Again, I’m big on customer service and it’s rare to see GREAT customer service so I commend you, Danny, for being part of the rare few that’s left in this world.
Oh and the juices and smoothies are all great. I love the ginger shot, my husband loves the wheatgrass shot and we both love the on pb bowl!

I ordered an acai bowl which was decent but not great.
The acai bowl had a slightly weird after taste that I haven’t noticed at other places. It also didn’t taste quite as fresh as seaside smoothie in birdrock or swami’s in north county.

I have only tried this place once but I was happy with my juice. I hope to go back soon to try their smoothies and bowls. I even want to try their daily cleanse — the flavors look yummy which is just a tad important when doing a cleanse and avoiding solid foods. My juice was filling and very fresh tasting. The shop itself is small but there are a handful of tables if you’re not taking your drink to go. The place is very clean and aesthetically pleasing. The staff was friendly and efficient. Wish I could frequent this place more often for some healthy juice to get my fruits and veggies in but like many fresh, quality juice bars, the prices aren’t cheap. Still, great place to grab juice when I need to clean up my diet a bit. Parking is challenging at certain times of the day since it is next to several lunch spots and Trader Joe’s.

Started doing the «JUICING» and found this place. I like their juices more than the others. The toxin flush is really good.

My friend and I came here after running Lake Miramar. We heard about Nektar and its $ 3 deal and decided to try it out. We arrived at 10:30 in the morning on a sunday and there was no one in line. The store itself was very clean and minimally. We got a little overwhelmed with the menus because everything sounded so good. In the end, we decided with toxin flush and the pink flamingo. We expected both of our drinks to come in a 16oz size but for some reason the toxin flush was larger. No complaints there!
Now onto the actually juice and smoothie. I’m usually not a fan of juices with ginger but for some reason I really enjoyed the toxin flush. Its ingredients included apples, spinach, parsley, ginger and lemon. The pink flamingo was exceptional as well!
Giving out my first 5 start because $ 3 for a 16oz of juice or smoothie is an amazing deal! (I think this deal only works in this location because I called the La Jolla one and they said that they don’t honor it. Such a bummer!)

I can’t get enough of this place! having grown up drinking juices, I come here at least a few times a week! I prefer juices over smoothies [ they super easy to drink and not a thick as smoothies]
I actually just bought their Advanced 2 day Cleanse and will be picking them up this weekend! I gotten most of their Juices, my 2 favorites ones are the green and the little beet!
so this is a pretty cool place, I will say that if you haven’t been here and dont want to spend a lot of $$, get their kids drinks, they are cheaper and can be use as tasters to see if you want to get something of that flavor!

Popeyes Acai & Pink Flamingo!

We came in for a cool down drink post-​workout. Since this was my first visit, I opted to go with something I’m used to ordering. I went for the berry banana burst smoothie (lg $ 7). The smoothie was really thick and hard to suck up thru the straw. Perhaps I should have gotten a juice instead!
The staff is friendly and the inside only had a little bit of seating. A lot of people just do a grab and go here, which makes sense. This shopping center is super busy however. Located in the same center as Trader Joes and parking may be a hassle when busy. They also acai bowls as an alternative. Looked tasty!
The smoothie wasn’t sweet and it was OK. Next time I’ll have to get a juice so I can flush my body toxins out post workout!

MENU:
ACAI BANANA BERRY– Acai, banana, cashew nut milk, and berries blended together on top of hempseed granola topped with bananas, blueberries, and strawberries. Wow !! This was refreshingly delish ! The employee recommended this and said it was their most popular acai bowl. She pretty much said all of them were delish, but this was her fav ! I chose this and agree it had a nice blend of flavors and textures. The acai had a nice consistency and flavor. I loved that cashew milk was part of the blend. Great substitute for dairy milk and more nutritious. The granola and fruits were a great addition. A little crunch and sweetness that wasn’t overpowering.
PITAYA BOWL — Super fruit pitaya, banana, pineapple, coconut butter and coconut water blended together and topped with hempseed granola, raw coconut flakes and bananas. My friend got this and we both loved the bright magenta colored pitaya (dragon fruit) ! It had a unique flavor and if you are tired of acai, then this is a good alternative. I also had a taste of hers and really loved the mix of flavors. The coconut flakes were also a nice touch for those coconut lovers. I also recommend this !
They also offer fresh juices, smoothies, specialty drinks (shots), and juice cleanses !! There is also a small section of grab-​n-​go snacks and drinks ! It was nicely displayed.

I’ve been here maybe 5 times, and I love Nekter so I continue coming back even if they have students working that don’t even act like they want to be there. I’m very curious how this location is managed because I recently went to the San Marcos location and they were awesome. Carmel Mountain employees lack enthusiasm, primarily the younger ones that look like hs students or college freshman. I never update reviews, or typically write negative reviews like this. 5 visits later, this review is long overdue.
I ordered 2 bowls for my gf and I. I always get the tropical bowl and its always great. The berry one was terrible though; super icy and bland. It’s full of fruit but is almost lacking sweetness. Overall terrible customer service experience, but I’ll be back cause I really enjoy the bowls and smoothies.

SUPER SPICY! Definitely not for the weak hearted. It was burning in my stomach, but was fun to try since it’s super healthy.

Light and delicious. Tastes super healthy. You can taste the nice blend of veggies and acai.
Pitaya Bowl
AMAZING!!! Definitely my second favorite place to get acai/​pitaya bowls. The texture was very creamy and thick. Not watery like most places. Very delicious.
I am definitely coming back here again to try their other acai bowls.

This place has the best juice and smoothies that will meet your many needs and cravings as the variety is pretty good. Located in the Carmel Mountain area this place is very convenient if you happen to be near the 15 and 56 freeways. I first tried Nekter in Carmel Valley, and now I frequent this location and San Marcos. Nekter is semi on the pricey side, but worth every buck. The staff here are fine and the wait can vary depending on the time of day.
My go to drinks would be:24/32oz of Date Nut with strawberries, Toxin Flush, Popeye’s Acai, and The Cure with ginger. For the bottled drinks I love their protein drink. mmm mmmm mmmm mmmmm mmmmmmmmmmmm!

Been hearing about this brand and seeing a few of them pop up around SD. I came in wanting to try their acai bowl. They look really good in pics.

I ordered a green pressed juice, the Sublime. It tasted a little bitter probably from the kale. Not my favorite.
Acai Banana Berry bowl $ 6.95 is great! Big portion. Comes with a lot of fresh fruits and granola.
Inside felt really clean and organic. Service was friendly and had no problem using our coupons.
This place is pricey. but I like the healthier alternative than the mainstream Jamba Juice. Good to switch it up sometimes. I’d love to come back and try more acai bowls. Especially the PB bowl! Probably would only come back if they had another promotion.

My first time here must’ve been an off day… the service was unreasonably slow!
When we arrived nobody was in line to place their order so we walked right up to the cash register. Strangely enough, we weren’t greeted for a good 10 minutes! There were other people in the shop waiting for their orders, and two different employees walked out and delivered orders without even acknowledging us. I can completely understand that the bowls, juices, etc. take time to make, but the wait was so long that we debated leaving!
Once we were finally able to order (by this point one other customer had joined us in line), everything was amazing! I just ordered the acai banana berry bowl, and my sister ordered some sort of toxin flush juice. The bowl was HUGE, and even though I was starving I needed some help finishing it. My sister couldn’t finish her juice — which seemed silly, but I understood when I tried some. It had a very strong ginger flavor (which I’m sure is excellent for you) but can take some getting used to if you’re not used to juicing.
I also love that they have recommended items from each section in the menu for first-​timers. I expect to be back here soon, so excited they opened in this location!

I like a good juice bar and this new one hit the mark for me. Lately, I have been getting into smoothies with dates in them, not just for their flavor, but also for their texture. So, that being said, I ordered the Date Nut 16 oz smoothie with almond milk and a few other natural ingredients such as cacao (

The date nut smoothie was quite good. I really enjoyed the bit and pieces of dates that found themselves throughout the smoothie. They added a nice sweetness and believe it or not, something to chew on a little (
). Overall, the flavor of the smoothie was mild and pleasant. I was able to pick the cacao and almond flavors, but the date flavor was king. I would order this again and again…
The employees were very nice at this location The young lady who took my order knew the menu well and the ingredients of the menu, as I learned listening as she talked it up with various employees.
