Best Indian grocery store in San Diego. Gets crowded during peak hours. Great selection of perishable and non-persihable items. Veggies are fresh and very reasonable priced compared to Vons etc. Wide variety of Indian snacks and frozen stuff that is competitively priced.

This place is amazing! A full sized supermarket selling almost all Indian products with lots of different brands. If I lived closer I would shop here everyday! The store is indeed quite clean, well organized and the staff was helpful and kind enough to find me whatever I was looking for.

This store was good until they killed all their competition and increased prices like crazy. My average grocery bill here used to be $ 45/week which is now roughly $ 65/week buying the same stuff, for example Amul butter was $ 5.99 now it is $ 7.99, bournvita was 7.99 and now it is 9.99. I think I have to find an alternative now and if they keep going like this soon someone else will come and do the same to them what they did to their competition!

Customer Service at register completely sucks… kills the whole experience… the girl at cash register today needs real experience dealing with customers… talks in a way that is annoying… for no reason… just basic politeness goes a long way. why work when u lack the basic requirement to do that work? There were only 2 registers open today around 3pm and the one I had bad experience was the inside one. Not the first one that is closest to the entrance area.

Guys be careful while shopping at this store. This used to be my favorite store for buying Asian groceries. We went there over the weekend and had terrible customer service at the cash register. I guess they hired bunch of new guys for holiday season with zero training and who don’t care about the customers. But there was also the experienced regular guy at the register who was just rushing for no reason. Let me tell you there was nobody behind us still he was rushing. Why… Why… This guy has a crooked nose or something. Weird face. I would like to tell the manager that please teach this guy some basic customer service rules. He should treat the customers politely instead of being rude for no reason. People come to your store from long distances for what… to be mistreated… Guys this is America… don’t behave as if people cannot buy the stuff elsewhere and u can have the monopoly. Wake up and give some training to your employees. If you want to see the real customer service, go to some other stores like Ralph’s, Von’s, Trader Joe’s etc Anyways I hope the manager takes care of these issues and also the crooked nose/face employee.

I am updating my review to address that I have been reached out by the store manager regarding my old review. Ive to say that, I am glad that I was reached out by the store manager immediately after seeing my review and addressed my issues and concerns. The manager was able to talk to the employee. The manager also confirmed that they scheduled training sessions to their employees on Customer Relationship Management. Overall, I’m satisfied with the way the store manger took this issue as a priority and made sure that everything is fine. This store needs a customer satisfaction. I stopped by this store to buy grocery. With all respect its a nice and spacious store but I HOPEITDOESNTGETTOTHEIRHEAD. I bought a rice bag which is on sale Buy 1 get 1 free. The cashier who billed me called me back before I exit to verify my receipt for which I don’t have any issues but she was rude to me. She made it seem like I’ve stolen something. I think the cashier should stop giving ATTITUDE and sorry for her ignorance for not being able to aware of the promotions going on the place she works. I don’t see her name but if I had to describe her I would say she is small and dark girl. I hope this never happens again

The store was really good earlier but now it’s degrading in its quality. I purchased a peanuts packet from the store couple of days back & today when I was about to open it, I found LIVELARVAE crawling inside the packet. This is really bad. This is not the first time. Once earlier, I purchased a jam bottle and when I came home, by chance I checked it, it was expired. It is so frustrating that they are keeping expired product on the shelf and playing with the health of the customers.

A great grocery store in San Diego that meets the needs of all Indians in terms of vegetables, snacks, frozen items, kitchen utensils(Indian), cosmetics and even cakes/ice-creams. My kids and I love this place both in terms of the item availability and the fact that it’s a mini socialization place for many Indian families. In short, something that San Diego lacked in ages and extremely well done by the team of cash and carry to fill the gap!

I’ve been to the other Cash & Carry in SoCal, but after a few visits some of the stuff I’ve picked up has been of poor quality. So in the quest for a new source of quality goods from the Motherland we decided to drop in here on our way home from the Zoo . The vegetable & fruit selection alone got this place 3 stars from me. The selection of pre-cooked & take & cook indian flat breads(chapati, roti, phulka & naan) is quite extensive. The selection of MTR ready to eat was a little on the low side, however they did have other brands to make up for it. There was an ample supply of both curry leaves & chillies for the weekend shopping crowd which was great. Finally the service at the checkout counter was pleasant & quick. The place was packed when we showed up around 5PM on a Saturday, so we might try this place early on a weekend morning in the future & avoid the traffic both inside & in the parking lot.

Awesome Indian grocery store Great selections of Indian groceries, very neat and very clean. You can get any ingredients you want for your Biryani. Indian snacks, desserts, basmati rice, saffron… my only complaint is that don’t don’t have enough fresh produce and meat… meat, I want meat… Parking is hectic though, and I heard there are always people that don’t know how to drive or park. So you might want to stay away and park somewhere far.

I like this place! Cheap, cheap, cheap! Limes 10 for $ 1 and I know this is cheap because my girlfriend is always making me buy limes for cooking and drinks at the store and I couldn’t believe this price when I saw it! Come here for all your spices also, you will get much larger sizes for a fraction of the cost as the regular grocer! This is a nice big and bright store with lots to choose from and I find it intriguing to join here once every 6 months we go for spices.

Best place to shop for anything Indian(not just groceries and veggies). Pros: — Great prices — Very good collection — Large and spacious Cons: — The veggies section could be a little cleaner

First time in an Indian store and my wife got what she needed for a good price. She got her rose water for $ 1.99 which some other stores charge up to $ 65! This water is good and healthy to spray on your face. This is place is well stocked with fresh produce, frozen foods, and everything else a grocery store should have. There’s workers in every other aisle making sure everything is nice and tidy. There’s a bunch of parking and this place was not busy at all. My wife will be back to buy more rose water.

I was visiting the Vishnu-shiva temple next door and decided to come on and check out the market. I have been to other indian markets in SD and have been disappointed on their lack of products and ingredients. Here at the cash and carry it was a large, clean market! They carry fresh fruits and veggies, frozen items, spices, snacks, drinks, Ice cream. And Hinduism idols and materials needed. So many different selection for snacks! So hard to choose from! Overall I really like the market and would like to return again for some groceries.

Well stocked & best indian store in San Diego. Like a kid in a candy store! So many things to look at, simply amazeballs! Came in to look for ingredients to make my jhal muri & chicken tikka masala. Surprisingly easy to locate all my ingredients & then some. Love love their bite size samosas & naan/variety of indian breads in the freezer section!

Admittedly, I’m not too familiar with Indian cuisine and sundries — but when I was asked to get a couple of items for my mom this past weekend, here I was. To be honest, I’m impressed by the size of this Indian supermarket; very spacious and clean, though I wish the ambiance was a bit better. That is, no overhead music, and customer service could be worked on a bit. Then again, I’m not their intended customer type, so maybe it’s a cultural thing… The fruits and veggies here were quite fresh, and were a bit more affordable than the other places I shop at. Normally, Miramar Cash & Carry would be a viable shopping option, except for two things — the distance(I’m closer to the major shopping hubs in Mira Mesa) and the weekend parking(this area is PACKED on weekends, making parking perilous). Otherwise, if you’re familiar with Indian food, this is a good place to check out.

This market is my one stop shop for Indian ingredients. The spices and dried beans are really affordable compared to regular American markets. Instead of spices sold in tiny bottles, they are sold in big bags. They have a wide variety of products. Produce, frozen Indian meals, instant mixes, LOTS of spices, beans, and powders. They have everything you need to make that Indian recipe you found on the internet. It may be a little overwhelming at first, but just give the market a round and familiarize yourself with the things they have. It gets easier the second time around.

Was looking for an Indian grocery store that had authentic products to make curry and tandoori chicken from scratch and found Miramar Cash & Carry here on Unilocal.Reviews were good and the bf and I drove up to check it out. Low and behold they had every seasoning there from cardamom, turmeric, fenugreek, chiles, and paprika. All came in plastic packages that we will have stocked to make a number of dishes. The place was also very clean and the employees made sure the aisles were fully stocked. They were also very helpful as I didn’t know exactly what guijillo chiles were and they without judgment helped me out. The store was packed and from my visit looked like the best Indian grocery store there is. Definitely will be coming back.
