The bar could definitely use some upgrades. The regulars are great. The owner can be very moody depending on the day. It’s worth stopping by, they usually have great drink specials and your first beer is always free at mattys pub!

This place is hands down best hidden gem in San diego. Dirty myke and the boys are usually always there. Matty the bartender hand crafts the best drinks you will taste and enjoy in the beautiful city. Things do get a little weird around 2 am. Lots of fun tho definitely a great place to enjoy a cold one. Everyone is suuuper friendly.
