Dr sit and Dr Tom are the best in the business. And unlike most acupuncturist in the US they actually studied and gained experience in China not some random local acupuncture school. I live in the la area and my wife and I drive 2 hours just to go see them. Do you self a huge favor and check them out.

I was referred to Dr. Sit and Dr. Thom over 20 years ago and have been going here ever since. Patients receive a consultation and exam which can take 20 to 40 minutes for around $ 30, I believe…
Dr. Sit cured me of back pain, which I sporadically had since the 1960s. He did «Tui’nah» on me, which consisted of ten treatments. (If you don’t know what «Tui’nah» is, try Googling it.)
When people hear «Chinese Medicine,» they immediately think of acupuncture… But Chinese Medicine also includes herbs that are just as important, if not more so. I mainly use their herbal combinations for strengthening various organs, like the kidney, liver, etc. The herbs do not taste very good, but after drinking them for awhile, the bad taste goes away… Or you just can swallow the herbs in capsule form, which is what most people probably do.
Diagnosis mainly is done by checking the three pulses on each wrist, along with viewing the tongue.
What I also like about Dr. Sit and Dr. Thom is they take the time to listen to patients and do thorough exams. Also, they once were medical doctors in China and know how to read x-​rays, so patients can bring along that information along with any other past medical reports.
Payment is either cash or check. No credit cards. The herbs cost around $ 16 per bottle.
After 12:00 p.m., parking gets very tight in this location and the spaces are a bit small.
They also have much success with using acupuncture to get patients to stop smoking. Sometimes this happens with only three acupuncture treatments.
Please be aware it takes many, many years to learn how to properly diagnose with Chinese medicine. Students who graduate from a program/​college in just a few years still have much to learn.

I can’t say enough about Dr. Thom. She is the real deal. If you’re looking for a spa-​like, frou-​frou acupuncture experience, this probably isn’t the place for you. But if you’re looking for an authentic, traditional, caring acupuncturist who will really listen to you, and will work with you to find solutions for health issues, I highly suggest Dr. Thom!
