After some intensive research, I decided to choose Candace to do my lashes and I’m so glad that I did– they came out super natural and were very well done. I got a bunch of compliments– even my grandma liked them. I can’t wait to get my refills so worth it! Especially if you put on falsies like me and is getting tired of doing them :)

It was my first time getting lash extensions since false lashes were way too heavy on my lids and it’s a big hassle to find the right lashes for my eye shape (large and round). After doing a lot of research, I decided to get lash extensions for the most natural, yet dramatic look. I found Candace through Unilocal,and decided to go with her for the following reasons:

I scheduled an appointment with Candace in mid December, but unfortunately she caught a cold and couldn’t make it. So I rescheduled for the last week of December, and she was so kind enough to give a discount because of the cancellation! On top of that, I was so amazed with my lashes. It’s now been a week and a half with these babies, and I couldn’t be more in love.

First timer with Candace and she changed my perspective on eyelash extensions! I chose to get the «popular» look and it came out perfect. I’m obsessed with my full set and definitely cannot wait to go back in a month. Candace is super sweet and makes the process go by fast. I found Candace through a coupon online then relied on fellow Unilocal reviews to help me commit to an appointment. I’d had lash extensions a few years back when they first came out but now it’s pretty much everywhere. Prices can vary largely and it can be difficult to find the right person to meet your needs. Luckily, Candace offers a very customized service along with great pricing! She has online booking, ability to pay through her site, and very clear instructions she provides prior to the appointment. When I came for my appointment, she provided very detailed instructions on parking, location and payment so there’s no confusion. Candace was timely, thorough and very professional! Most importantly, she really tailors the session and your lashes to the look you’re wanting and what would fit you best. I told her I wanted a very natural look and I was leaving it up to her expertise to do as she pleased! Candace didn’t disappoint! The look was very natural but still gave me a mascara-​look without being overdone. I’ve received so many compliments and some people couldn’t even tell they weren’t my lashes! She has a very gentle touch and clearly cares about her clients and her craft! In addition, her pricing is very reasonable! She uses 2 brands of lashes, all American-​made. The lashes are of great quality as they lasted for a good 3 – 4 weeks before I had to come in for a fill; however, this is very dependent on how well you care for them at home. Parking is downtown and can be difficult but there are paid lots in the area or street parking. You can always find parking somewhere for free especially if you’re willing to walk a few blocks. Booking is easy online but I would recommend you do 1.5−2 weeks in advance to when you need your appointment to ensure availability. I’m definitely excited to have found Candace and look forward to becoming a loyal client!

Have to give another 5 star review to my girl Candace! I have been going back to her for long enough to know I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my lashes but her! She’s honestly the sweetest, most talented, and professional ball of sunshine! I absolutely adore her and her work. She amazing ladies, I refer her to everyone, any chance I get. I had a Brazillian wax by Candance and I must say that she was very friendly yet professional. She was quick yet thorough. She did a very good job of relaxing me through a potentially painful and unpleasant experience. I would return as she works neatly, follows up with her appointments and I appreciate that she sent an email about policies on booking, (after care) policies and the store’s location and how to access.
A genuinely service oriented establishment. The room appeared to be well sanitized yet the ambiance was inviting and relaxing. I am considering monthly waxes by Candace.

I got my first set of lash extensions ever with Candace! The experience and results were exactly as I was expecting. I chose the 3D Lash Extensions (normally $ 190) because Candace was offering a special for $ 90! While I do not think I would have been happy with the results had I paid $ 190, I was so pleased with my results and the special pricing! Although the services are expensive, you definitely get what you pay for! The location of Candace’s salon is also beautiful! Very professional, CLEAN, and upscale. I was impressed, to say the least. Candace was also extremely helpful answering questions about services and scheduling via text, and she followed up after the appointment by sending me before and after photos! I will definitely be back in the coming months to get my lash extensions filled with Candace!

Candace is simply amazing! Have been getting my eyelashes done for awhile in Japan and I recently moved to San Diego and needed a new expert. She does a GREAT job and isn’t overpriced! Her studio is super cute and comfortable. I would recommend Booking in advance, her schedule gets filled in quick on style seat!

Candace had waxed me for two years before the lash extensions. She never tried to sell me on them, I eventually asked.
The process is surprisingly relaxing. It’s a nice quick little break in the work day.
Its been my third consecutive time now and I cannot fathom not having them. Funny how that happened. In actuality, it is less maintenance because I don’t have to curl my lashes, apply mascara, nor use eye makeup remover. They stay on fleek when pummeled in the ocean to boot.
Candace is very knowledgeable, professional, and sweet. I like them wispy but you can pump ‘em up all you want. Also, hooked on the take-​home spoolie brush :)
