DO NOT. I REPEAT DO NOT buy the Groupon for this company!!! They are scammers!!! I purchased the Groupon 3 weeks ago and I normally Unilocal the business before I buy and since it had good ratings I bought one. Well I am assuming the ratings came from either the workers there or someone they paid to false advertise because they are not a credible business.
3 weeks ago I purchased the Groupon. I made several, I mean several phone calls to the number on the Groupon to make an appointment (619) 548‑2888, and it goes to a cell phone voicemail everytime. I have not once received a call back. Then I was kind of worried so I attempted to look up the shabby website they have
, and it is super SHADY and so made up. I feel like an idiot buying this Groupon but I am determined to make sure no one else makes the same mistake!!! Do NOT buy it!!! Its a SCAM!
I would give them a NEGATIVE one star but Unilocal makes you add something. I am also going to report this business to the BBB for FRAUD!!!
Pretty sad there are still people out in the world trying to SCAM a few bucks. Get a real job whomever you are and be a productive member of this society.

I used a Groupon and I will definitely be going back!
I was greeted with a glass of champagne (classy!) and waited less than 2 minutes before Chance came to meet me (even though I was a bit early). It took about 5 minutes for me to communicate the cut/​color I wanted (and he tolerated me scrolling through my Pinterest). He gave me the most amazing cut and the color is beautiful. Plus, he went and refilled the parking meter while I was under the dryer!
I’ve had bangs since I was in middle school, and I’ve let them grow out a few weeks because I was waiting for the professional to cut them. Because of the cut I was getting (shoulder length with layers) he suggested I keep them long AND he said if I hate it in 2 weeks I could come back and have them cut however I want. It’s been a day and I am loving the bangs and I’ve gotten a ton of compliments. It’s actually a lot less maintenance and it just looks awesome.
Overall, the vibe is laid back and friendly. We chatted with other clients/​stylists during the session and it just felt like everyone is happy to be there. I’ve been jumping from stylist to stylist the past few years and I feel like I’ve finally found a place where it would be worth the price to go back!
Oh, and as far as the Groupon goes, he scanned the code and said I was done– as if a tip wasn’t expected. Of course I tipped him because he was awesome, but it was refreshing to feel like I had the choice! Very cool!

Amazing. Chance is awesome. My hair is not the easiest thing in the world to manage and there’s tons of it. Chance clearly knows what he is doing and is great at it. Will definitely be going back !

Honestly, I couldn’t be happier with my salon experience. Not only was I greeted with a glass of red wine, friendly staff, a pleasant environment, and the cutest bulldog I have ever seen, but I left with exactly the haircut and color I wanted.
I used a Groupon and received no attitude whatsoever — which is (unfortunately) increasingly uncommon with stylists these days. I just can’t say enough good things about Chance. He even did a consultation for fusion extensions, which I plan on having him do in the very near future. I am one happy blonde. =)

I had an appointment with Chance. He had put up a Groupon for a full highlight, cut, blow dry and style for $ 69! Doesn’t get better than that.
My experience: I arrived about 10 minutes early, was offered a bottle of water upon arrival and Chance to took me over right away. He consulted with me and understood what I wanted easily — sometimes I find it hard to explain exactly how I want the blond-​ish color of my highlights and he made it so easy. I am not one that is super chatty during hair appointments, I like to just sit back and enjoy. Chance totally understood and made me feel not awkward about it. Even offered me a glass of champagne to relax further. The end product was just what I wanted. I almost wish I wasn’t moving away because I finally found a great pressure free place!
Pros: Great and funny stylists. Champagne at noon. Clean salon.
Cons: Bring change to feed to meters for parking.

Awesome! I had an appointment with Chance and got there a half hour late because of traffic. Since I was getting married in two days, Chance made sure to fit me in instead of rescheduling me and he and the receptionist were very attentive. They made sure I was comfortable, told me where the bathroom was and offered me a beverage. Chance made sure to ask what exactly I wanted and spent lots of time clarifying what my plans with my hair were for the wedding so that everything would look good. I would absolutely come back here and would recommend it to everyone! Chance is amazing!

Wow. Chance is absolutely the best. I got a partial highlight, protein treatment, blowdry and style plus cut before going out for the evening downtown. Girls kept coming up to me and asking, «WHO does your hair? It’s exactly the hair I want.» Usually my hair is brittle for two weeks after coloring, but with Chance my hair has never looked or felt better. I’m sad that I only was in San Diego for the summer because he is the only stylist I ever want to work with my hair now. The second I am back in SD though I will definitely book another appointment with him! Charming, professional, and a true artist.

Outstanding! It’s hard to find a place that can cut my hair just right. Chance did what no one else could do. Will definitely recommend to friends.
