IHOP

Well, i should’ve listened to my first instinct to get jack the box drive through. I would’ve been full by now. Its been an hour. Our server Henry sucks. Not sure if he is a server or a bust boy but man, he’s making this whole experience worse. A Hangry me is no fun. I just starts giving bad reviews. Lol but ofcourse. This would’ve been mediated it he at least have an awesome personality, but nope! If i can put zero stars i would. 2 days later no food still… Uggghhhh

We have been coming here all week for breakfast during our vacation and I have to say that the staff here are extremely nice and accommodating. They truly practice exceptional customer service.

I even don’t want to give one star on it. We arrived here around noon and there were only maybe 10 customers are having lunch. We ordered our dishes and waited for like half hour!!! Can’t believe it. The server did not come to tell us what is going on during the period! I will not come here again because it seems like we are waiting forever!

It’s taking forever to wait. I’ve been here several times, every time is same. Servers just ignore you, and keep chilling to each other.

It’s IHOP. We came with 10 – 15 people and the service was standard IHOP (which is pretty accommodating actually) and the fare was the standard. It meets the criteria for being a standard IHOP. Nothing here makes it worse than the standard IHOP that you’ll find anywhere else. As such, if you are dying for your IHOP fix (don’t know why you would have one but ok) this place will not disappoint.

First I would like to start by saying that Pat rocks!
She is a great waitress, she always remembers every ones names and she always has a smile on her face.
Pat makes me want to come back and and enjoy my foster banana pancakes.
Food and price are reasonable.

My family loves IHOP and have not been to one in a very long time. We saw this location one night and figured it would be good like always and probably better because of how hungry we were. Upon arrival our waitress was kind but I wish I could say that was good enough. Once our order was taken it wasn’t long before the food was brought out but with several mistakes. Frozen strawberries on the stuffed French toast incorrect sides and toppings which we requested be left off we of our meals. I didn’t make a fuss about this and just asked for the correct side and just finished what I could of the meal. All in all I would say that IHOPis a good company but this experience was far from good. I would most likely choose to eat at the Costco food court across the street before choosing to eat at this location again.

My go to restaurant for a good quick breakfast. Veronica our waitress we seem to get every time is awesome.

Just went there to try and eat and what a nightmare. Was told 15 mins which is not bad. But then we started to notice a few people getting seated that perhaps came after us. Then I was like perhaps they were outside. Then another couple I knew for sure came after us was seated and my husband went up to the guy running he hostess stand and he had our name crossed out. We were sitting in front of him the whole time and he never called out name. My husband pointed that out and he sat us immediately. We waited five mins and had two waiters pass by us and not one acknowledged us siting there. We got up and left and went next door to Oggis instead.

Love the pancakes here! So fluffy. I like that this place is cleaned and had fast service. Just took a while to cash out…

Beautiful diner style breakfast place with friendly service. I tried their Banana Bread French Toast with eggs and hash brown combo today and it was very nice. The waitress was kind enough to put the whipped cream and syrup on the side and also make my eggs well done. Great service!

Cmon guys, ihop is a chain restaurant… BUT I love IHOP. This is such a solid location, MUCH much better than this one on balboa avenue. The one on balboa is awful, stay away from that place. We always get sat down here very quickly and our food is always fast no matter how busy it is. Awesome ihop. Raspberry white chocolate chip pancakes… You really can’t go wrong.

Real nice clean location. It’s a typical IHOP menu, and expect IHOP crowd. The only difference I felt was it did take much longer for the food to come out than other IHOP’s I’ve been in. The service is good considering the crowd.
Parking is shared with quite a bit of establishments such as Ikea, Costco, Starbucks, and many other food establishments in the surrounding area.
Food was pretty good, and Amy French toast was plump and not saturated with strawberry purée or whipped cream. I did take rest home. It was much!

Visiting from out of state, went for breakfast on Thanksgiving morning.
1. Dog friendly patio! Love that we were able to bring our fur baby with us.
2. Our waitress Jennifer was THE BEST! Not only friendly but knowledgeable and so accommodating! One of the best waitstaff we have ever had. And so great on a holiday morning!
3. Our server, Jennifer, was so attentive, that she noticed one of our eggs was not prepared as we had requested, so when she plated us, she automatically informed us that she was bringing out another plate of eggs, properly prepared.
4. Food was so tasty and plentiful. Actually filled both our boys, which is rare for these bottomless pits.
Very grateful that IHOP was open on Thanksgiving for us out-​of-​towners.
Jennifer made a huge difference & positive impact!

So remind me to NEVER EVER EVER go to this IHOP location during football season ON a game day. Worst decision of my life.
Food is the same at every ihop, average. We went because it’s one of the only places that serves country fried steak. (Still on the hunt for a place that serves that!)

We have been coming to
IHOP since far back as I can remember.
What I can say:
Well two things:
This location is the best in San Diego and we always have excellent service here.
IHOP is a competitor to many other breakfast places but I think IHOP takes the winning prize home.
We had OK service from our waitress.
She came to our table right away
took our order and brought out our food in
a timely manner.
BUT … after that she disappeared for
quite some time and we waited a little bit to get our to go boxes and the check.
The manager did come by our table
and made sure if we were being waited on
and we said = YES!
He’s really nice and represents his restaurant well and makes sure everyone
is happy.
The food:
I ordered chocolate chip pancakes and were they ever delicious.
When my breakfast came to our table
my mouth literally dropped because I didn’t
expect that.
I would have to say I should’ve ordered a side of hash browns because the sweetness
sneaked up on me.
Overall, they are the best chocolate chip pancakes I have ever had.
That would be hard to replicate at home because I don’t even know what ingredients
they use and that’s why I can’t describe them. You just have to try it and see it for = YOURSELF! Ha!
We will definitely be back!

I think this IHOP is a-​ok! I would definitely come again with my group of friends.
We came on a rainy Saturday morning with a group of 10 and they accommodated us pretty quickly. We only had to wait about 15 – 20 minutes. The service was great and the food was typical for an IHOP.
I love that our server was super friendly and upbeat and totally knew how to talk to a group of 10 and get our orders efficiently. I wish I remembered his name!
I ordered the breakfast sampler and my fiancé ordered the chicken and waffles. The chicken and waffles were just chicken tenders and the waffles looked average.
Parking at this plaza was okay. On the weekends, you would have to fight for parking because it shares the same lot as Costco and Ikea.

After a morning walk through Ruffin Canyon we had breakfast here. They seated us outside fast and took our order fast! The food was, as to be expected but the service wasn’t great.
I ordered 2 eggs over medium with toast and bacon and my girlfriend ordered the Tuscan scramble. Mine: eggs came barely fried with whites so runny, bacon was too salty to eat. The Tuscan scramble: was really good once my girlfriend took the 1lb of unmelted parmigiana cheese of the top.
The food, not terrible but not great! The worst part was that the server promised to bring water for the dog at the table next to us and never did. Then asked them to move so people could walk by. They were no way in the way but they went out of the way to make that poor couple with the dog feel uncomfortable!

My experience on their service was not that good, the guy-​seemed like mexican, who was serving us has no clue of the menu when asked several time about the combo’s-he was a blank face and just to avoid further queries he just said «no we can’t do that, we don’t have that»
I was like really? coffee was like warm hot water as if just to get rid off!
I have experienced better than this !

Haven’t been to IHOP in a long time .but we are glad that we chose it for a late Sunday Breakfast!
We had the incredible Strawberry and Banana pancakes and a Bacon Omelette. they were both outstanding choices!
The service we received from Miguel was outstanding! He gave us a warm greeting and was attentive the whole time we dined. He even took a picture for us. Great employee and great attitude!
