You had me at baba ghanoush. I was super confused when I walked in there, all I saw were buckets of chickpeas. I expected some prepackaged hummus in a fridge I could grab quickly to take home. NO. Baba ghanoush (when it’s made well and doesn’t have a weird chunky or stringy texture) is kind of my favorite thing ever… imagine my delight when they made it fresh in front of me. Perfectly creamy and garlic-​y and delicious. I haven’t tried anything else yet but I’m excited to go back.

Wow! I came here based out of a recommendation of a friend and I am so glad I did.
When they say FRESH they mean FRESH!
What I had:
–Mediterranean wrap — absolutely delicious, healthy and filling.
–Hummus — I’m just going to say it… BEST FRESH MADE HUMMUS EVER. They make everything to order so when I asked for a sample they didn’t have any hummus just laying around. In just a few minutes they whipped some bacon hummus, that’s right… Bacon!
They also had DATE MILKSHAKES! I didn’t have it this time but I’ll come back for that next time. This place seems to have it all for such a nice mom and pop place.

This would be the best hummus joint in San Diego! If not the only, i couldn’t believe they made it fresh in front of me. I wasn’t sure hummus was enough to fill me up so I Also had the Mediterranean wrap and it was amazing! Loved the service I will definitely be back to try the other flavors!

Excellent food made to order with care! My wife and I stopped in with our son to try some hummus as a snack before going to dinner. The olive hummus was so good that we ordered dinner there! Quite possibly the best hummus we’ve ever eaten. All the food is delicious and the staff was great. We’ll be back again and again!

Only for meat-​eaters? We’re both vegans that live in OB. We were very excited for Hummus to open. Now, we are very disappointed. Went in last night, no other customers, I ordered hummus and pita with a side of olives. Very personable staff — terrible food. My b/​f got a falafel hummus sandwich. Aside from portions being small, the hummus was of poor texture and had the blandest taste imaginable. Sadly, since they just opened we anticipated the best — based on what we got — these locals will be going outside OB for pita and hummus. Also sadly, no baba ghanouj and no sides of olives (I had 2 put atop my hummus). Maybe their meat is delicious, but nothing worth it for a vegan’s palate.

I was blown away with the Bacon Hummus, I’ve had hummus last summer in Irbil, and that was some of the best hummus I’ve had in the middle east. I never thought I’d find a place that makes rustic classic hummus in town the way it’s made thousands of miles away, now I have! I also had the Zaatar Flatbread, it warm fresh, crispy and very well seasoned it’s authentic flavors reminded me of my travels. That’s really a good feeling to have.
I left with a Tahini Date shake… just wow, when you think you’ve had all the juice drinks ob can offer think again! Definitely be back!

Fantastic! We had the Greek hummus, beet salad, cheese flatbread, and dolma. Hummus was exceptional. Fresh ingredients and excellent customer service. Will be back!
