I’ll start by saying I’m not an expert when it comes to hookah but I am an expert in good customer service & that is what we got here. I went with 2 friends & we were pretty indecisive about what we wanted & our server was very accommodating & brought us out several varieties to smell. We chose one of their top sellers & all agreed it was a little too mild so our server graciously offered an alternate. All in all this was a great customer experience. If you’ve read any of my other reviews you know I don’t give 5 stars but if I did these guys would get it

This place is great. The atmosphere is nice, though the music can be a little loud. But the service is fantastic. Rami and Saifn were there when we went and they were excellent. When we ordered, we asked for a hookah with an ice tip, and paid for it. Then our hookah came out without the ice tip. We decided not to do anything about it, because it wasn’t that big of a deal for us. However, Rami came over a little while later and said he was very sorry that they forgot the ice tip and immediately got us a new tip and offered a refund. I really appreciate that they recognized their mistake and insisted on fixing it, even though we didn’t care to point it out ourselves. Both Rami and Saifn were very friendly and attentive to us while we were there. The hookahs are great and the food is wonderful. The buffalo chicken fries are absolutely delicious!

Me and my friend went in here for the first time the other night, and I have not been more happy with someone’s service, this place has great service and great customer service they make sure u are always good and taken care of!!! The owner steven was very nice and always checking on us, as the rest of the staff was, I was very glad I found this place I will be going back a lot and bringing more and more people with me!!! the music was great the hookah lasted forever which is a great thing, I was surprised how long it lasted but it was amazing and I will be back!!! thank u for such a great experience

This is far and away the best Hookah spot in San Diego. The staff is friendly, kind and attentive, The food and drink is always fresh and delicious, and the atmosphere is especially warm and inviting. I work 40 hours a week, and this place is absolutely perfect for a relaxing evening out. There are quality TV’s all around showing a variety of different shows/​sports, and I love to just relax on a comfy couch, eat some great food, smoke some hookah, and unwind. Honestly I probably come here 2 – 3 times a week. I would absolutely recommend OB Hookah & Grill. Say hi to Rami and Steven! They’re great people.

Very chill hookah lounge the owner Steve very nice guy bomb hookahs and bomb food first time experiencing ob hookah lounge they have really good food I got the Philly cheese steak sandwich and buffalo fries it was amazing if u ever go there ask for Rami or Steven

So I’m a regular at this spot, and there’s a reason for that :). It’s the best hookah lounge in SD for many reasons: smooth hookah experience, excellent service, great food, comfortable atmosphere (TVs everywhere set on both sports and entertainment channels, comfy couches, and it’s incredibly clean all the time), and the owners who are attentive and hardworking.
If you come on a weekday, it’s a good place to unwind and chill. If you come on Friday or Saturday there’s usually a DJ and sometimes a belly dancer! It’s a great place to hang out with friends, dance, and, of course, smoke some delicious hookah. Come see for yourself!

Fantastic customer service, the most amazing hookah you can possibly have over 100 flavors to choose from! Super clean and well organized place! The owner Steven is such a sweet heart, saw him walking around through out the night to make sure everyone was doing okay also asking if they need anything! They best thing is that they also have a really good chef that makes delicious food! I mean who doesn’t want hookah and some good food?! The fries are my favorite! (; If you wanna have some fun and hookah this is the place to be!

This place is great! Well equipped with great staff who are very consistent and consciousness of their customers. Owner, Steven is very nice and socializes with all of the customers. Very clean facility with clean bathrooms. Very safe atmosphere as I had the chance to witness them safely escort someone who seemed very intoxicated who looked like they wanted to start trouble and they gently escorted him out. I recommend everyone have to chance to try the high quality hookah that lasts a long time and doesn’t go harsh very quickly as I have seen with other hookah lounges.

By far one of the best hookah lounges in all of San Diego ! Very good vibes and a fun atmosphere. Staff is very friendly. The owner (Steven) is very accommodating, he always goes out of his way to make his customers happy. They have a big variety of flavors, good and clean hookahs. Their food is always fresh and professionally made, cooked and flavored to the perfection. The place is always clean and inviting. I highly recommend this place. Ask for Steven, he will make sure you leave happy ! Location is a plus, a five minute walk from the beach ! It is always cool to walk to the beach after getting some good food and hookah ! For all of you Unilocalers, go to this place and you won’t be disappointed!

Above all else great service! Hookahs were good with a good price to match and the furniture was comfy. Atmosphere was chill and the location was great, like two blocks from the OB pier so it was cool taking a short walk to the beach after smoking. I highly recommend this place if you don’t want to break the bank but want a chill spot to meet up with friends.

I truly love the idea of a hookah bar in eclectic OB, but my friends and I found it far from the OB «feel.» While the staff were definitely friendly and the hookah was tasty, the music was so loud you couldn’t hear each other talk and the ambiance was something that you would expect downtown or maybe in PB, all neon lighting and black seating. As far as us Obetians go, we would have loved something more authentic, comfy, Middle-​Eastern with nice cushions and seating, art, authentic music, food, drinks and teal, with the option to be able to hear conversation while we pass the hookah.
A great idea for OB, but done in a way that will probably not appeal to many of us who live here, which is a shame, because we’d really like a nice, chill location to have hookah at here in OB.

my first experience ever at a hookah lounge, went with my daughter to experience the hype. I don’t get it. In reviewing this place, my thoughts about the subject don’t matter, it’s about the club. It was clean, inviting, excellent staff, many tables and many options when it comes to the tobacco’s…but i still don’t get it.
