Best dogs around! definitely the best drunken food I’ve ever had without regretting it the next morning!

Very tasty dogs here. Great service with a smile i would recommend all my friends to come here i hired them to do a party for me also and they came through and i was very satisfied. Ill be back every weekend

This place is awesome! I always end my weekend nights at Hot Diggity Dogs. After a long night of work nothing is better than a vegan brat with veggie chili, grilled onion and sour kraut… So delicious! The owners, Mike and Tony are super cool guys, always friendly and keeping the peace in the late night hours. Definitely recommend it to anyone looking for weekend late night munchies in OB, they are open until 2:32am. I will see you guys this weekend!

The young guys that run this cart sell the most delicious hot dogs EVER! They have a large array of different and unique, yet unique types of hot dogs, which are ALL outrageously YUMMY! I especially LOVE their vegan dog– I wouldn’t go any where else during the hours when this hot dog car is open!!!
You MUST check this place out… The customer service is really supreme; they’re hard workers, quick and efficient as well as incredibly friendly!!!
Also, it’s always a blast to eat your hot dog there. The merchants are hysterical, respectful, and extremely witty plus there’s some super fun people watching around this place!

Pretty delicious I’d have to say I love that there is a random hotdog cart down the street and I love that they are actually delicious and have a lot of different toppings! I loveeeeee that they use creamcheese. Good spot for anyone who’s hungry late night in ocean beach!

I’ve been hotdog jumping all night just on a craving with my bf. The dogs were good. nothing memorable. but they weren’t bad. I had the OB special. It had a lot of toppings on it though, so that was a plus. It had two types of bacon (pork and turkey), caramelized onions, and nacho cheese on it. Probably wouldn’t purposely seek the cart out to get a hotdog, but if I was nearby and starving I would stop by since the dogs were decently priced.

Maybe I wasn’t wasted enough so I just don’t get it, but I did stop by for a dawg. It’s been a while since I’ve hung out for a late night bender in Ocean Beach and noticed the cart when it was around the corner from Winstons Beach Club. This time it was in the parking lot across from The Joint and a few paces from The Harp and Pacific Shores.
As the only hot dog cart in the area, it’s a no-​brainer. There aren’t any alternatives along the sidewalk, other than maybe driving to the Jack in the Box down the boulevard or track down a taco shop nearby, but that’s still too far for the usual hungry zombie shuffling down the sidewalk or for bar patrons that just closed their tab out.
My Costco sensibilities say I shouldn’t pay more than a buck-​fifty for a plain hot dog, which includes a soda pop. There are a variety of specialty dogs, sausages, and vegan tofu dogs on the menu, with pricing between $ 2.25 for a plain turkey dog and $ 4.75 for a loaded dog. Unfortunately, the bacon-​wrapped TJ danger dog is not on the menu. There is also an assortment of condiments to fully dress it up. Thumbs up for the Sriracha. The barbecue and hot sauces in unlabeled squeeze bottles are also good to try. Soft drinks to wash it all down are sold separately for $ 1.
I had the OB Special. It was meh; not great. My gripe is that it was served up cold. I don’t think any part of it was even warmed up. I’ve had dirty water dogs and grilled dogs, where they’ve been cooked and served hot. Maybe the propane tank was empty or they forgot to light it, but I thank my iron stomach for not suffering any illnesses.
The relative easy to find location, late night snacking hours, and good customer service are all winners, but getting a Cold Diggity Dog is such a bummer.

Amazing late night hotdog spot! We ordered the Philly Chilly and the Extra Cheesy Bacon hotdogs. They were delicious, needless to say we went up for round two. Cream cheese is their secret weapon.

Love love love Hot Diggity Dog! Went for the first time last night and it was outstanding! I highly recommend the veggie dog with either the cream cheese and veggie chili or the veggie dog with nacho cheese and chili. I had both. They were both amazing.
My husband also seemed to really enjoy his carnivore hot dogs.

These are no ordinary hot dogs. I’m a big fan of late night hot dog stands and have had others around town. TJ style Danger Dogs in North Park used to be my favorite until I discovered this place last night. We had a variety of dogs between the four of us and every one of them was delicious. Personally the super Kosher with a jalapeño dog was my favorite, caramelized onions, cream cheese, sauerkraut, sooo good. And to top it off the people who run this little joint are beyond friendly and clearly enjoy what they do. Next time you’re in OB do yourself a favor and stop here before you call it a night.

not the best hotdog from a stand that I’ve eaten but it’s a solid «not bad». To expand on what I mean by that consider the fact that I ate there I was entirely sober and I did not feel that my hotdog was terrible (although I *did* feel godawful all the next day :/)

yeah, you had me at cream cheese + bacon…
i don’t typically go out to OB much, but when bf said there were hot dogs sold from a stand after 10pm that were AH-MAZING…it was inevitable that we would make it out there just to get hot dogs…
and just get hot dogs we did. 4 of them to be exact. two tasty hebrews, an extra cheesy, and a philly chili… who would’ve thought that cream cheese would be so supremely delicious on a dog? but seriously, the salty, the creamy, the spicy, the cheesy…
my mouth watered a little… good thing it’s saturday and i can stay up past 10pm tonight… might have to venture out to OB again…

Everyone I take here LOVES the Philly chili! We often go in search of the cart after a fun filled night at our local bars. There’s always a line and a bunch of happy belly’s. HIGHLY recommend!

Love hot diggity dog. Nothing better than an ob special dog from the best hot dog cart in ocean beach. The only thing better than the dogs is the service you receive. Ryan is always upbeat and delivers service with a smile. And his precious doggy side kick thumper is the cherry on top!
Not surprised to see the crowds awaiting the first dog and most likely going back for seconds and thirds.

Best late night stop in OB before, after, or in between bars. Just look for the red and yellow umbrellas.
I generally roll up cross eyed and stumbling and all I have to do is mumble and point at the menu before I’m transferred to my own slice (bun?) of heaven.
Considering most of the patrons at this late night stop are drunk and stumbling, I have to give extra credit for the smiling faces they always seem to have here. In addition to the friendly service, it’s just a few bucks for a delicious dog and great people watching, so be sure to stop by to say hi to Thumper.
ABSOLUTE FAVORITE: Red Rocket with Cream Cheese. The spiciness of the dog paired with the creaminess and topped with your choice of condiments will satisfy any late night hunger pains.

OMG! I’m not a big fan of hotdogs, my dad always thought they were a gift from god. So, about once a year around the anniversary of his death I go out and have a dog and beer in his honor, of course about an hour later either he or the dog decides to come back and haunt me. Anyway, these things could convert this burger and fry’s guy! To quote Ms. R. Ray «YUM-​O»

Hot Diggity Dog at Winston’s Beach Club is the mother of all hot dog stands and the perfect cure-​all for a full night of drinking amongst friends. They set up their stand outside of Winston’s for all the o.b. locals with the drunchies. A couple runs it along with their little human-​like chill-​ass canine companion named Thumper.
They recommended the nacho-​cheese dog… and all I can say is that IT’S THE BEST DAMN THING I HAVE EVER EATEN DRUNK. and that’s saying alot. Their hot dogs are delicious! You will be craving one for weeks after consuming their meaty delightfulness. You have the option of self-​serving your own onions, jalapenos, relish and condiments.
YOU MUST EAT THEIR HOT DOGS!!!
You must experience this for yourself and help support an absolutely amazing local establishment.
