Back in the Late 1970’s & Early 80’s I used to ride my bicycle on the boardwalk while my mom got her hair done at Herb & Marilyns.
It was a cool funky place, I plan to stop by and get a cut one of these days.
I’m so glad to hear that it is still a family business.

I lived right by Herb and Marilyn’s for a few years. WHat a fun, unique salon to be a client at! Amber was my stylist there and she is truly AMAZING!!! Sandy is another excellent stylist there. They both have the ability to take someone they just met or have known for years and use their intuitiveness and their creative talent to create masterpieces on their clients heads!!! Not only is Herb and Marilyn’s a salon, but it is also a place to hang and have a good chat with whoever is around! I used to stop by there multiple times though the week to just say hi. The set up there is so fun and welcoming with their 70’s décor! I feel like it is the Cheers of MIssion Beach!!!
