Ordered two slices of pizza and a 12″ gluten free. Almost $ 30! :/The slices were fine but the gluten-free was sub-par and not worth half the $ 17.95 asking price. My son only ate the cheese off the top. Service was good though.

I love me some pizza and since I was diagnosed with Celiac’s a few years back my heart has mourned the loss while I sought true gluten free restaurant pizza that didn’t taste like cardboard. I found Extreme Pizza on a gluten free San Diego guide and I didn’t have very high expectation but this place blew me away. The menu at Extreme Pizza is varied with custom, signature, specialty pies and other Italian fast food fare: calzones, salads, subs, and desserts. Not only do they have gluten free pizza but they also offer vegan options. We did the Screamin’ Tomato pie with gluten free crust. The owner, Nezam, took the order and asked as he was ringing us up if the gluten free was for allergy reasons. He personally made ours to ensure that there would be no cross-contamination. That he went to those lengths was important to us and is one of those things any person with any allergy wants to hear from every restaurant they patronize. The Food Safety Certification sign on the front door meant that their kitchen meets the gluten free kitchen standards. As for the pizza itself? It was mouth watering. They advertise the dough as being Udi’s and I have eaten a lot of Udi’s and this crust was so much better than anything I’d ever had before. The entire experience was great and I keep asking my guy if we can go back.

This is a cute small place to have a good slice of pizza and a beer on a date or with a friend. The owner is a very nice man who will answer any and all questions you have and he is very excited to talk to you. We ordered the chicken wings and they were very good. Extra crispy and not dripping with sauce

Wow. I actually had hope for this place. Service was rude when I let them know their chips had expired and would like a non expired bag. They ended up putting it back out for another customer to buy… disgusting cause the guy helping me also was not washing his hands when bringing cleaning a table to bringing us our food.

VERYBADCUSTOMERSERVICE I’ve been going here for a few years. Usually before I go to the movies. This time was the worst. I ordered 2 pepperoni slices and they brought to 1 cheese slice. I let her know I ordered 2 pepperoni slices so she said oops sorry. After waiting for a bit, she brought me one pepperoni slice. I let her now that I ordered 2 pepperoni slices. At this time another lady(the manager maybe) came out and asked if she could help. I let her know that I ordered two pepperoni slices. She went to the cash register reprinted my receipt and explained that I was only charged for one cheese slice. I let her know that I did want two pepperoni slices, she walked away and went to the back. At this point I thought she was going to bring me another pepperoni slice. After waiting another length of time and my kids getting very hungry I got up and asked them if they’re bringing it. She looked at me and said no, so I let her know that I would like to order another slice and paid for it at this time. I informed her again that when I walked in the door I had ordered two pepperoni slices. She took my card and with a really bad attitude swiped my card very angrily. I look to her and I said are you giving me attitude, and she said yes I am. At this point another man came and said that he would get me my pepperoni slice, which he did. Because of the bad attitude I will never go back.

I haven’t had the pizza so I can not comment on it. The two items I get on a regular basis are the meatball Parmesan sandwich, which is the best I’ve had on the west coast. The other sandwich is the chicken pesto which is very good. Both sandwiches come with toasted bread which they run through the pizza oven and it makes the sub. The flavors are excellent. Maybe one day I’ll try the pizza but with sandwiches like this probably not.

Only ONE location left in San Diego County? How is it possible that the best pizza joint with the best deals are failing in this town?

Not sure why the stars are so low here! I eat here 2 – 3 times a week and it never fails to disappoint. The Big Slice is one of the best deals in town and the topping options are always amazing. I will be going back again and again.

Zero stars. For $ 3.69 I expect an actual giant slice of pizza and for it to be delicious. I was disappointed. I do not recommend this place to anybody, they either need to drop their price or make it a bigger slice and make it taste better because it sucked. I expect an apology and a refund but I doubt that’s ever going to happen. I even told the guy and he didn’t care one iota

Always enjoy this place. Generous slices and good beer selection. They have a good menu of regular and vegetarian pizzas. Outdoor seating.

This is my favorite place in CTS! The beer selection is good, wings and pizza are good, and it is great for groups.

No. Just no. I am so upset at how much I did not like this place because pizza is one of my top five favorite foods. And this place… I don’t even know what to say. I ordered the Pipe calzone(comes with the basics, cheese and sauce) and added pineapple and chicken. Nothing fancy. Also bought a cookie because it looked good. There were two other couples there, one almost finished and one waiting for food. Didn’t take very long for the food to come out but I was impatient and ate my cookie before. AMAZING. I would come back just for the cookie. So the food came out, my boyfriend ordered the same but with sausage, and it looked good. Came with a side of marinara sauce for dipping. Bit into one half of the calzone and I knew instantly that I wasn’t going to like this. Half of my calzone was stuffed with pineapple the other with chicken. Kinda wanted them mixed together, that’s why I ordered both of them. The pineapple wasn’t good, and the chicken was basically all fat. I ended up picking it all out and just eating the calzone plain. And the sauce had a weird tang to it. Halfway through my food I realized they never gave me my cup for water so I went to the counter and stood there. And stood there. And stood there. This guy was sweeping the floor behind the counter and I knew he could see me but he didn’t even bother to stop and ask what I needed. So I sat back down without my water. I will not return to this place for pizza anytime soon. Probably will for a cookie. Maybe. It’s iffy.

Food was alright, extremely overpriced for what you actually get. It’s $ 1.50 for every topping besides cheese so you end up spending a lot for a little bit of food. The owner was nice though which is why it’s 3 stars.

The unique flavors, and the funny names are what make this pizza good. The crust/dough was very chewy and hard however. I literally racked my jaw trying to finish the crust. The Holy Cow and veggie are really good, if it wasn’t for the crust.

Kind of want to put the review at 4 stars just because I don’t think they deserve an overall 2 star rating but I mean it wasn’t amazing. I ordered delivery(which I do admit is pricey for what you get) but the food is good! I ordered the boneless chicken spicy buffalo wings with ranch dressing and they were really good. I ordered a dozen and due to the various sizes of the pieces, some of them being small, they gave me more than 12 which I appreciated. I got a 12″ half railroad grade and half boar’der pizza. Both were really good! And I ordered extra ranch from the boneless wings(fifty cents) to dip my crusts in. The pizza was really satisfying and that size feed 2 – 3 people. While the pizzas were tasty, they were not extreme and loaded with toppings. Because of that I think the price is not justifiable. Also I ordered half a dozen chocolate cookies. Do I regret it? Not at all. The cookies are AMAZING! They are a good size and so soft and they do not skimp on the chocolate. Would go here just for the cookies tbh.

We happened to try Extreme Pizza one evening before going to the movies nearby at Reading Cinemas. It looked like a great pizza joint with beers on tap, the smell of pizzas cooking in the oven, and sports on TV. I thought to myself, «Wow, I think I found a new hangout.» However, the pizza did not deliver. We ordered a large slice of pepperoni and a large slice of cheese pizza. The pizza was very thin and it looked as if it came out of a box. I will probably go here again, but will probably skip the pizza and just have a beer or two before the movie.

Just like the two star rating says, «Meh. I’ve experienced better.» I’ve literally received more customer service from delivery chains, but we were waiting on a movie and decided to grab a bite to eat before we caught our showtime. The menu was confusing at first because a lot of things were listed as a special but when we had questions it seemed that all the«specials» also had special stipulations.(I.e. One slice + drink special for $ 4.99 — which translated to you having to order a pepperoni pizza and get a small drink even if the cup next to the sign is a medium, and no you can’t get another slice, pepperoni only… and the other deals were like that one — you get the gist) We ordered one personal pie and a tray of BBQ wings with a couple of beers. The pizza was for my husband so I can’t speak for the quality or taste there but the wings we’re meh. I don’t know if they forgot BBQ sauce but they we’re dry, thank goodness for the beer to wash it down. Luckily there are options around the area. I’d honestly rather had theater food. Oh well, ya live and ya learn.

My daughter lives not far from here, and both of us have come here now and then over the years when we come out to visit. I have to agree with many of the reviews that their coupon policies are horrible. They offer a ton of coupons, but they will claim what you are ordering is a special and you can’t use the coupon. This has happened many times to both of us at different times with different coupons. It doesn’t matter if it is an entertainment coupon or a coupon from an ad, they deny most of them for one reason or another. Also, they poured me a beer on tap, and the manager was rude when I asked him to fill it to the top. He claimed it was at the line on the glass, but it wasn’t. What a terrible way to treat a customer. It is a nice location, but the management is really not customer service friendly. Won’t go back.

Trustworthy for larger corporate orders. We ordered 30 pies for lunch and they were delivered on time, and reasonably warm. The pizza was a bit hard because of the distance between their store to our work. If you’ve ever had large cheap New York ‘style’ pizza by the slice it kinda had the same chewy texture. The pizza itself was pretty good, nothing too Extreme mind you. For a work lunch, Extreme pizza effectively did their job.
