This is what came for lunch VERYLITTLESALMON. I took one bite! I called for a new salmon wrap to be delivered and Norma(owner) said it will take AWHILE to deliver! Very disappointed with the PR

I come to Eddy M’s every day for my morning espresso and occasionally my lunch. Service is outstanding! Lisa is a doll, as well as the rest of the staff. I recommend calling in your order if you are coming at a busy hour(breakfast or lunch time) to avoid waiting!

I had a few appointments in the Rady hospital that led to me to discover this branch of Eddy M’s. I’ve been to other branches(in Del Mar, etc.) so I know it’s a pretty standard«office building café» eatery. This one is convenient when you have early appointments and need to grab something to munch. I’ve eaten there now twice for their breakfast sandwich. The croissant sandwich hits the spot, and it’s reasonably priced at about $ 3.50. Buttery croissant, microwaved egg, sausage patty(you can change the meat to bacon, etc.)… not too bad but nothing special. It’s just cheaper than what I have available to me in the heart of downtown. What’s ridiculous is the mark up on the other items. The Naked Juices cost as much as a sandwich($ 3.50). If you’re not a usual, service is mediocre at best. but it’s fast and easy. If I’m in the area. I don’t mind stopping by for the quick bite to go. Parking is free for the first half hour so that’s plenty of time to stop in and get out.

I started my salad for lunch diet. The Chicken Artichoke Salad is really tasty and crunchy. I’m not much of a salad kind of person but I would definitely eat this again! Very filling!

Came in at 2:30p(they close at 3) ordered a coffee and went to go fill my cup both coffee dispensers were empty. When I notified the staff she said they have a French roast available(not really what I had wanted) and told me they close in 30 min and it’s not worth it to brew another batch for what I wanted and purchased. Not about customer service at all here :(

I’ve tried a couple of the sandwiches here and they were just okay. I think the first time I built my own and added sprouts. The 2nd time I got the chicken pesto and hearts of palm sandwich. This wasn’t too good. The hearts of palm tasted too much of a «right out of a can» type flavor, and the pesto was not fresh. Each sandwich($ 8 ish) plus a bag of chips($ 1.50) always put my lunch bill over $ 10. Expensive for something I just feel mediocre about. I also tried their breakfast burrito and I’m not a fan. Doesn’t taste authentic enough and the side salsa tasted like jarred pace picante. This is San Diego and I would expect a much better tasting breakfast burrito. I’m giving this place 4 stars because I LOVE their breakfast croissant sandwiches. I always get the turkey, egg and American cheese one. It’s only $ 3.77 after tax and a very filling portion! The cheese is melted, croissant pressed on the panini press, eggs fluffy, and turkey smokey. Delicious combo. Brownie points for being so close to work. I work in the same building! Try the breakfast croissant!

I’ve come by Eddy M’s several times when in the area for work but this is the first time I’ve actually ordered anything. I’m usually short on time and can’t decide what to order but I was in the building for a doctors appointment and the doctor was running about an hour behind so to Eddy M’s I went. One of the soups they were offering was cream of broccoli and I was intrigued. The woman behind the counter saw the indecisive look on my face and asked if I needed help. I told her I was think about ordering the soup so she offered me a taste. It was yummy. I ordered the soup with some cheddar cheese on top and avocado on the side. Totally hit the spot. There are a few tables in the café but they were all full so I ate my soup in the lobby of the adjoining building as I saw a few other people doing. A woman sitting closeby inquired about my soup. She said it looked so delicious she was going to go order some for herself. If soup is not your thing there’s PLENTY more to choose from at Eddy M’s. From breakfast burritos to acai bowls, paninis and salads to pizza and smoothies there’s lots to choose from at Eddy M’s.

After having not eaten for 14 hours before getting some lab work done, I walked over to this Eddy M’s outpost for some morning grub. The small coffee and English muffin breakfast sandwich with egg, cheese, and bacon cost under $ 5.00 and hit the spot. If you find yourself at Sharp on Frost, I’d definitely recommend this coffee shop. The pre-prepared lunch items to-go were fresh and appetizing. The place is very clean.

This place is located in a medical building and great for those who work there who need something quick without leaving the building. The coffee’s good. I’ve had the Mexican mocha made with abuelita’s chocolate — soo good. I’ve also had a bagel from there, and for lunch, I’ve had their posole and the hummus sandwiches. They’re all ok, but on the pricier side. They always seem to mess up my orders too. Not terribly, and I’ll still eat it, but it gets annoying when it happens every time, especially when it costs that much. All in all, I head there every once in a while out of convenience, but it’s not my #1 go-to place.

Service is good, this is the second time here for lunch. Got eddys wrap. I did say no mustard, and there is mustard on my wrap. I’m hungry and pressed for time, lunch is only 30minutes. So I are it. It does get busy, at noon. So I think I’ll order my food, then pick it up.

Where do I start? I work at Sharp Hospital and the department I work in is in love with Eddy M’s. Not so much the prices, but the food! Previously Starbucks occupied their location. So yes it is set up like a Starbucks. Front cooler that has ready to go salads for the people who can not wait for their food to be made, fruit and other small items. They have a few tables, we seem to be lucky and always are able to find a table when we eat there. When they first opened we were here almost everyday. We couldn’t stop trying all the different things they had. They have a very fresh menu. I personally have not tried anything off the breakfast menu. But the lunch menu could not be better. Salads, sandwiches, wraps, tortas and a lot more. I highly recommend stopping by here to grab a bite to eat. Yes, you will pay about $ 10 for lunch, possibly a few dollars less. But it is worth every penny!

Good fresh food. Prices appropriate for what you get. Service is good but not quick. Plan to wait a bit for you food to be prepared to order. Salads are huge. Could easily feed two people. They toast versus grill their hot sandwiches which is a negative.

Nice people. SOOOOO glad that there is an option other than the restaurant next door! This place has decent coffee drinks(I treat myself to a tuxedo now and again) and they HEALTHY salads! I can’t wait to try their quinoa salad! I’ll probably give their sandwiches a try too. For now, I’m just thankful for an alternative to the store next door to them(which I vowed to never patronize again unless absolutely necessary). Welcome to the neighborhood, Eddy M’s.

Opened up in place of the Starbucks next to the Quiznos. Not sure how much sense it makes to open a sandwich shop next to another sandwich shop. But they do offer Boars Head meats for both their hot and cold sandwiches as well as salads, burgers, and wraps. They also offer breakfast as well as a wide range of coffee drinks. I got a pastrami on squaw bread which was pretty good; the bread was soft and as always Boars Head pastrami is not bad either. I did wish there was more meat in the sandwich but it’s definitely better quality than Subway or Quiznos or the hospital cafeteria at Sharp across the street. I guess if you’re visiting the hospital or in the doctor’s office in the building this is probably one of the better places to eat within walking distance.
