My girlfriend and I decided to go here for a late lunch to avoid spending a lot of money and we left sorely disappointed. We ordered mac n’ cheese bites, which tasted very similar to kraft but were okay. I had the Goosy Lucy, which was supposed to be a burger stuffed with velveeta and didn’t come with any other toppings, but was more costly than a regular burger. It came out as 2 patties with an American type cheese slice on each patty. Not even close to being worth the $ 15. The other sandwich we got was the cali-style, which ended up being pretty good, but definitely not a $ 13 sandwich. Our onion rings were undercooked and still had a lot of raw batter in them. Service was fine at best. We were the only ones there, so there didn’t seem to be a very good excuse for any of the shortcomings. The chef came out from the kitchen while we were waiting for our food and interrupted a conversation, mid — sentence to awkwardly talk to us about his life. Overall, we were very displeased with quite a few things. This place is nowhere close to deserving of the $ 75 bill we had for 2 sandwiches, an appetizer and 2 beers each.

Found out about this bar about a couple months ago. I guess before Crazy Goose it used to be Quality Social which I’ve only been to about 3 times. It was an ok bar. My first time heading to Crazy Goose I didn’t really know what to expect. All I heard was that it was a new bar and they played good music. So before going inside this bar, I had already ran into about 3 friends hanging outside in the patio. I thought«ok this may seem like a pretty cool bar if I know some people here.» When we got inside, ran into more people. I definitely had a lot of fun here and yes they do play good music if you’re into hip hop and throwback jams. It’s decently sized and love the fact that they have a patio. The drink prices aren’t too bad. Seems like an average priced drink. Beers averaging around $ 7 and cocktails around $ 8 – 10. This is a cool spot to hang out, drink, dance and have fun.

Let me start off by saying DAMNDAMNDAMN, my tastebuds orgasmed the entire time I was there! So let me set the mood here lol My family surprised me with a trip to San Deigo for my 25th birthday and planned to take me to this place for Saturday brunch. I had no idea where I was going so I didn’t Unilocal it. I didn’t have to either because my cousin who was surprising me always does lol Anywho, from the second we walked in there it was amazing. The customer service was amazing for starters! I believe it was Ilene and Nicole who assisted my family and I and they were sooooo attentive! Not over bearing at all, just attentive. I loved that! They were showing their awesome customer service skills all while bringing their personality to the experience. Love it! My family and I ordered bottomless mimosas and let me just say, yesssss hunnnnnnyyy! I like the orange juice ones but that cranberry one was fire. We had like 7 – 9 per person! :) And lastly, but please don’t confuse this with least, our food was so DAMN amazing! First lets give a round of applause to the chef Jacob for doing his thing in the kitchen! My family ended up with damn near everything on the menu! The chicken and waffles? Get it! You will not be unsatisfied whatsoever. The pancakes? Tastes like a fresh donut out of the oven! Get it! The eggs Benedict or omelet? Get it all! Just splurge and don’t look back because you’ll be happy you did! Thank you Jacob and the amazing staff at Crazy Goose. You truly made my big 25th birthday one to remember! This will be a regular stop every visit to San Diego!

Came here for brunch. They have $ 10.00 bottomless mimosas(it makes it all worth wild). Their traditional breakfast was really good. The service was excellent!

Be sure to triple check your bank statements after coming to this place for bottle service. Bought a bottle for $ 200 — they automatically add the gratuity, therefore easily turning the bill to $ 270. And what baffles me is that these guys overcharged my boyfriends card. Not only did they charge an amount for $ 270TWICE, they charged the card for $ 400 when we only had 1 bottle. So in total charging an amount of $ 940 to the card for 1BOTTLEOFSVEDKA. No clue what they were thinking when this happened. Not to mention that the waitresses were never to be found during the night when we needed clean cups, refills on chasers, more ice, etc. We ended up fixing the charges, but they were so rude about it and acted like we were trying to fix a minor charge when that wasn’t the case whatsoever.

I was very impressed with this place. Started off getting to pick where you wanted to see(cold open window or booth in back;)). We went with the bottomless mimosas and all you had to do was order an entrée to get it! We were sold on the deal! Then our food came out, again I was impressed! I got the Tony Gwynn Benedict, delicious! Both of our meals were great. About the time we were done eating, the chef came out to say hey to the three different tables in the same section to see how our meals were. Never really seen a chef come do that anywhere regardless if it was busy or not. Actually surprised it wasn’t packed and/or taking reservations

Staff was so accommodating– super friendly, and went way out of their way to be helpful and nice! We loved the food, captain crunch french toast is insanely addicting– the house omelette and home fries were even better! Loved everything from the bottomless 10 mimosas to the atmosphere, tons of perks: patio, tons of tvs for sports, huge bar, great staff, killer food– we will be back!

The 5-star review is well earned! Group Size & Staff: I brought a group of 12 on a December Friday night and we were playing the Saran Wrap ball game, probably being too loud and making a mess, but they didn’t mind! Neither did the people sitting next to our tables. The staff is so friendly and prompt; they really helped make the experience fun for my whole group! Food: the lobster mac n cheese is delicious! It had large chunks of lobster with tasty cheese and lots of pasta in a huge bowl. So big that I ended up sharing with 3 other people(but no more). Drinks: I ordered a Moscow mule and they ran out of ginger beer, so I recommended using ginger ale and they were more then willing to do it for me. Also, I paid $ 2.50 for a Corona during their happy hour that lasts until 7pm. I also like that they have two bars with a mini dance floor next to the second one. We requested to do the Wobble and the DJ actually played it for us! Shoutout to their Waitresses, the Chef, and DJ! You all rocked that night! We had so much fun that 4 of us are returning on NYE for dinner and their NYE party.

Loved the open layout of this place, very spacious. I’ve been here twice and didn’t have to deal with a big crowd either time. Great spot to watch a football game. Service was excellent, felt like talking to a friend versus someone just taking my money. Check in when you’re here and get a free appetizer with the purchase of an entrée! Ended up getting the filet mignon app(for FREE) and it was delicious, highly recommended. Happy hour before 7PM for the win

Thanks Unilocal! This is an awesome great find that we are so happy to have found! We were looking for a brunch place for Saturday fun day who serves bottomless mimosas. My friends and I found a nice spot in the patio to drink, eat and people watch. In order to do the bottomless mimosa, you have to order an entrée. My girlfriend and i shared an order of «Traditional Breakfast» — Two eggs your way, potato hash, two strips of bacon and 2 pieces of toast and the«Captain’s French Toast» — Thick brioche bread dipped in traditional. Order of the mimosas to wash it all down! The food wasn’t the best i ever had but wasn’t bad. The mimosas were on the weak side(25% champagne and 75% OJ) But after 4 hours of drinking you’ll walk out bloated and tipsy at the same time. The service was beyond great! she was very tentative and kept our drink coming!

The bar was great and very spacious. Lots of flat screen TVs to watch the game on and on Friday and Saturday night they transform the eating area into a dance floor. Yummy cocktails, great vibe and overall a great place to hang out for a chilled out evening. They have yummy snacks fabulous entrees too. Love the fries that burst with flavor. Definitely coming back.

This place was awesome! Met a friend in downtown. I hadn’t ate all day and wanted food immediately. We walked a little bit and stumbled on Crazy Goose. Fairly empty when we walked in and ended up sitting at the secondary bar. Service was good and they changed the tv for us so we could watch a particular football game. Got a craft beer and order a grilled chicken sandwich with fries. Really assumed that it would be like most grilled chicken sandwiches but I was blown away. It came on a burger bun with the grilled chicken cut in the sandwich to making eating it more manageable. It was an amazing sandwich/burger! Butttt the best part was when we checked in. Upon checking into this place on Unilocal we received a free appetizer with the order of an entrée. It can be any appetizer so we set our sights on the most expensive app of course. We got the filet minion and it didn’t disappoint. They brought out a cup of it with bread slices and it was amazing. There were pieces of filet that looked slightly undercooked but it didn’t matter once you tasted it. This place is great and I will recommend it #1 to anybody looking for a place downtown. We didn’t stay past 9pm but I assume the place probably gets more crowded and fun throughout the night. Total winner! Go check them out!

There’s a new place in town, Quality Social is no more. The place is electric during football brunch! $ 10 bottomless mimosas is a steal for the Gas Lamp District. The brunch menu is on point, hell’s hash was great. The mimosas kept flowing and the football kept going. Crazy Goose picked up where Quality Social left off.

I came here on Halloween night! Before 10:00 pm it was free to enter, so that made it even better. Everyone was dressed up in costumes. It is very spacious. The DJ was amazing, rocking hits from way before. Brought up nice memories. As time went by, more and more people came, the environment was awesome, everyone was down to earth. The most amazing time was when the DJ put a line dance hit, that everyone joined it. it was great because I have not danced to that since i was in high school. Such a great vibe.

I’ve been in here twice now and WOW what a difference! In the beginning the place was empty, but the bartenders were entertaining and friendly. It seemed a bit expensive at first, but the food is proportionate and filling which I like. So good! The second time I went was on a crowded weekend night. The drinks were just as good and the music was a mix of top 40(which I love!) and old hip hip which was ok. It’s def a day and night difference but I’m glad it’s working for them since the place is gorgeous looking with great indoor and outdoor seats for downtown people watching. Worth checking out for sure!

I was happy to learn that the Crazy Goose was now open for brunch. I stopped in on the onset of opening at 10 am, and ordered the Tony Gwynn Benedicts that came with«Thin slices of double smoked ham piled high on an English muffin, topped with hollandaise sauce and bacon crumble» with a side of crisp potato hash, fruit, and toast for $ 13 plus tax. Now I liked the bennies, but I have to admit what was advertised on the menu, was not what I received on my plate. First of all, although the smoked pit ham was delicious, it did not come with several pieces and piled high on my English muffin, although the single slices on each muffin were on the thicker side, then what you would normally get. Also, the potato hash were not crispy and I had to send them back, and even so, they just came back a little more oily, rather than crispy. They do need to work on that. Also, they forgot to but the bacon crumbles on top! So, in the end, they brought me a single slice of bacon. Anyways, like I said the ham was very tasty and had a very mild smoky flavor. I did appreciate the thickness of the ham. I asked for a medium poach on the eggs and they delivered on that. The yolk on both eggs slowly cascaded down the sides. The Hollandaise was well made and had a creamy viscosity and mellow sweetness with a smidge of lemon flavor. I liked the dusting of Paprika on top. The English muffin was lightly toasted and had good moist texture to it. Like I said, the potatoes were way to soft and colorless to be a hash. However, they were well seasoned and had a nice herb flavor. They just needed to be crisped up a bit, to not only add color but texture as well. The whole wheat toast was of very good quality. It had an excellent girth to it and had very nice home style wheat flavor. Please keep serving this quality wheat bread. With a little tweaks here and there and most importantly, attention to details, this place could provide at the very least a four star brunch, but for now, I can’t ignore what transpired. However, on a good note, service was quite good. My server Chelsea was great. She had a great personality, provided small talk, and was on point with her service.

Great experience from start to finish. Had an amazing waitress named Megan. Cute as a button and very attentive(but not overly so). I ordered an elk burger, which being from Wisconsin really excited me. Cooked to perfection and was delicious; fries were great too. Lots on the menu that I wanted to try. I was able to meet the cook who was very nice and was telling me about some upcoming menu items. A lot of what they have(if not all) is farm to table, which I love. Great place, can’t wait to go back!

We went in today… Weren’t even hungry but decided to try because we walk by it all the time and it was open yay! Hostesses was smiling and friendly. Our server was great, stayed and talked to us for a bit which was nice. She had glasses and long hair. I didn’t catch her name but she was very attentive. We ordered the TJ Burger with fries which was cooked medium and to perfection! We had the Lobster Mac n Cheese Yum! I forgot to take a photo because we dived right in ha. My sister ordered the Lobster mac n cheese. I’m not a fan of pasta but, let me tell you it was delish did not disappoint! The chef Jacob came out to check in on us that’s always a plus. We ended with chocolate for dessert yummmmm. Walking out everyone said bye. Great staff! Kuddos!

So today was hot! We where looking like for place with AC, wifi and big TV’s for the game. Other places where crowed or hot so we gave Crazy Goose a shot. We weren’t sure what we where going to get. The name was a little confusing. It’s not like Toast the wine bar or Bootlegger serving alcohol. From what I get I think its a sports bar… I think. The menu seems pretty meat driven. Now on to the good stuff, the food! We started with the Louis’ Lobster Tempura with apricot champagne dipping sauce, it was really good! I’d recommend and order them again. Solid dish. Not sure how tempura fit into the menu, but if you got something that good you keep it on the menu. On the Chef’s recommendation we gave the Goosy Lucy Burger. It’s made from high quality cured meats and you could taste the difference. It came with really good onion rings and I don’t even like onion rings. We where stuffed at that point, but it was a while until the Sooners game started so we got the Maple Truffle Lamb Chops. SOGOOD!!! Just about lost my mind. Get the Lamb chops!!! So freaking good! My buddy got the Greek burger and said it was good. We got the Bloody Mary’s. Good enough to make you feel better after a hangover and better with bacon. Service was really good. Way better than average! We got to talk to the Chef, I love that. What I think was the GM seemed to be really on top of it and the entire staff was super friendly, attentive and worked great as a team. Really high marks for service. To sum it up there where a couple confusing elements about the place. Not sure why it’s called Crazy Goose and I think it’s a family friendly sports bar but not 100% on that one. Sometimes they put those little Hawaiian flowers on certain dishes and not on others… Still not sure why it was Hawaiian flowers. Enough about the Flowers. Great service and really good food. I’d recommend it to all of the carnivores out there! Get some friends together and split a couple different dishes. Make sure you get the Lamb Chops. Ridiculously good.
