I was remodeling our back patio room and called for a couple circuits. Heron suggested that we put in a sub-panel so that I could power everything that I needed. He wired up 4 circuits of recessed lighting with multiple points of control(17 Lights!) Outlets galore, a 220 circuit for Air conditioning, outside lights, two ceiling fans, and room in the sub-panel for more if I ever want it. Very professional installation at a good price. I could not believe how many wires got stuffed into this old patio — I would never have thought of wiring it like this but I am so happy that I did.

After a month of almost unbearable heat in North County, I decided it was time to put in a ceiling fan in my bedroom(after getting a $ 500 electric bill). I called Comfort Air and they sent out Heron, a delightful guy with great manners who seems very efficient. An aside: interesting history, his parents were hippies and they named him after the heron bird, he has a brother named Mesquite. He was born on a boat in San Diego harbor, grew up in various commune-type places. Really nice guy, I think his background gave him a very nice personality. In any event, he seemed very efficient(as was the person I spoke with at the office) so I decided to ask him to take a look at my entire house wiring, as I’m sure I’m overloaded on some circuits, since the kitchen shorts out when the housekeeper plugs in the vacuum. He really went to town in my bedroom and in a short time, after laying out all his tools and implements, I had a nice, neat hole in the ceiling where the ceiling fan can be installed. He crawled around in the attic, and he is testing all the circuits as we speak. So far so good, and I am so glad I called Air Zone. BTW, the first time I called they gave me a quote over the phone so I would know how much it would be. This will be my go-to place for heating, air and electric.
