Once I became pregnant, it was nearly impossible to get an appointment with Dr. Binno. Of 5 scheduled prenatal appointments from 8 – 20 weeks, I was only able to see her ONCE. The other OB/​GYNs at Women’s healthcare at Frost Street weren’t horrible, but they weren’t good either. The office also wanted a LARGE delivery/​birth deposit just after 20 weeks gestation paid in FULL for them to be available for my baby’s delivery 5 months later (I had to sign a document stating I would pay over $ 1000 by a certain date in December 2013, when I was due in Mid-​April 2014!). I transferred to the UCSD midwifes after my week 20 ultrasound appointment, and it’s been 100% better all around for me and the baby. UCSD nurse midwifes have a friendlier staff, I get more time and connection with my doc/​nurse midwifes, and more educational-​based patient care so I know what to expect while expecting. I also only pay as I go… and have a direct phone # for a ²⁴⁄₇ midwife, should I need them. Dr. Binno and WHC at Frost St. was GREAT for surgeries and for annual exams, not so much for a natural, healthy pregnancy and prenatal care.

I have worked alongside Dr. Binno as a doula and I was very impressed with her skills as a physician and her wonderful bedside manner. She is very personable and makes everyone in the room relax and feel cared for. She takes time to listen to the patient and her partner and tries her best to make their experience the best it can be. Thank you Dr. Binno!

I am at the end of my first pregnancy and Dr. Binno has been with me every step of the way. At Women’s Health Care there are 5 doctors that you may see. I have a friend who is pregnant also and has seen all but my doctor and said she really only liked one.
I LOVE Dr. Binno and have made sure to schedule all but one appointment with her. She always has times for questions, is very straight forward with her answers and any concerns. She makes me feel that she has true concern for my pregnancy and the health of my unborn son. Should we decide to have another child, she is the only one I will
want to see!
