San Diego Hand Specialists

I do not even know where to begin with how amazing these people are. I am a very active person (and apparently also very clumsy) and managed to break the crap out of my wrist while rollerblading on the Mission Beach Boardwalk (no judgment please).
The fracture was so bad that I went to two Orthopedic Surgeons who said they wouldn’t be able to help me because the break was so bad, but one of them referred me to Dr. Julie Ohayan.
She was able to see me the same day I requested an appointment, and was able to schedule my surgery within 48 hours of seeing her. It took one plate, six screws, and a whole lot of painkillers, but my wrist is now back in one piece and I’ve even begin to start (slowly) working out again.
Dr. Ohayan is knowledgeable and reassuring in her area of practice, but also extremely easy to talk to and reassuring. The staff in her office is also incredible. The nurses are amazing (I always get helped by the same Asian dude– can’t remember his name but he is awesome) and Eladia at the front desk is another favorite.
I should also mention that whoever works in her billing department is an insurance ninja, because they get my (horrible) insurance to cover EVERYTHING!
If you are clumsy like me and break the crap out of your hand, go here. They will fix you.
