I have had such a wonderful experience here! Jeneanne is a huge support and made me feel so great with my fertility treatments. She is not only skilled in fertility acupuncture but her heart is in it with you. She understands her clients and listens. She has also taught me so much I didn’t know about the process and how to make it a positive and beautiful experience for myself. Grateful to have found her and will continue seeing Jeneanne.

I was referred to Jeneanne from my acupuncturist Kristen Burris in Idaho. I needed a great acupuncturist to care for me before and after transfer. I saw Jeneanne a day after egg retrieval to help with bloat and she helped me greatly. It was like I stepped into my own acupuncture clinic at home. I knew I was in good hands.
I was worried that my transfer date and time would be a bad time for Jeneanne to see me, but she assured me she’d take care of me; and that she did. I was her main priority and she made me feel it. Excellent care! Excellent service!

Had my first treatment yesterday at 12. I got there early & the parking lot has tight parking spaces. There were only a few available spaces, even before 12.
I went in and was greeted. I actually forgot my paperwork but the receptions just had me fill out one paper. Also offered me some hot tea in the waiting room.
When it was time to go inside we walked along a long hallway to get to the room. I suppose that’s good if you have any questions to ask her on the way there. Sat down and chatted with her about the process & what is done. I’ve had acupuncture before for stress. So I wasn’t scared and already knew what to expect.
She placed a few of the needles in various parts of my body. I knew it had pain my hands, from all writing I do. I felt a little pressure from that but none of the others. It was relaxing and neaely slept but wish she had put some relaxing music on while I laid there. Since my mind tends to wander. Then she gave me an Amazing massage at the end! Relaxed the rest of the day

I love this place! Jeneanne is seriously amazing and so is the staff. Would recommend to anyone!

Oh my gosh! I could not gush enough about how fantastic my experience was here today. Jeneanne and Pam were so wonderful and I felt incredibly pampered thanks to my students who gave me a gift certificate for acupuncture and a little massage. It was amazing!

Why are there not 20 stars? Jeneanne is so talented, genuinely caring and intuitive. Her Acu sessions are more like a spa treatment with a heated table, lovely music, shoulder massage, etc. Tell her your woes and she can recommend supplements, tips and tricks and lend an ear. I give Jeneanne mad props for helping us end our infertility struggle.

Jeneanne was amazing! Acupuncture can be a scary thing, but with Jeneanne there is nothing to be afraid of. She walks you through everything she is doing! I had been doing acupuncture for a few years to try and combat my migraines, then we moved and stopped going to my old acupuncturist. A couple months ago i decided to was time to get back on to the table, i chose Galena AcuSpa and i was so glad i did. My migraines have been under control, Jeneanne also suggested things in my diet to help them as well. She is so gentle and accommodating. I love the massages at the end of the session and the cupping as well! I would recommend her to anyone!

I would give Jeneanne 10 stars if I could. I came to her, devastated, after a failed IVF cycle, trying to heal and get ready for next steps. Going to acupuncture became my safe haven, a place where I could heal from my past disappointments, and prepare myself for our next steps. Jeneanne told me my first appointment that acupuncture is just to get people in the door, and it’s true. She is so much more than an acupuncturist. She is a great listener, a resource, and someone who treats your spirit (something that can get pretty bruised during infertility treatments) as well as your body. Having never ever thought I would do something like acupuncture, I can only say that I am very very glad to have found Jeneanne. If you are struggling with infertility and thinking about acupuncture I 100% recommend it, and if you are in San Diego, go to Jeneanne.

There are not enough stars on Unilocal to highly rate Jeneanne’s acupuncture services! She was my 2^nd fertility acupuncturist — the 1^st one was like a snake oil salesman with a rotating door. She was the opposite! Genuinely cares for her patients, provides a spa-​like experience, works harder than anyone else I know and has the most personable, friendly, loving demeanor. I am so sad I moved out of state and couldn’t bring her with (believe me, I tried!). She made my pregnancy virtually symptom free and I continued to see her for ongoing maintenance for a year and a half after my baby was born. I literally cannot recommend her enough. She’s a life-​saver.

I’ve been seeing Jeannen for the past year for fertility acupuncture. She is extremely knowledgeable when it comes to fertility issues and I don’t think you can find a better place to go. The facilities are clean, nice and relaxing and the staff is really nice and makes oh feel at ease.

This was my second experience with acupuncture and I have to say it exceed my expectations.
Renee has been very welcoming, nurturing, and understanding throughout my treatment. While I am still under their care, I feel that I have been transformed into a healthier person with their assistance.
If you are looking for services for either a specific problem or general well being I would highly recommend Renee and Jeanne, you certainly won’t be sorry that you visited with them.

I struggled with fertility for 6 years and I seen many different accupuncturist over the years. After relocating to San Diego, Jeneanne came recommended to me from the nutritionist of Randine Lewis’s The Fertile Soul. I was at ease once I met Jeneanne as she provided me with a healing and nurturing process that I needed to move forward. She worked with both me and my husband and today we are proud parents of boy/​girl twins!
We have recommended her to others as well as people who have other issues with pain that need healing. She and her partner Renee have been great healers to many of our friends. We still visit just much needed R&R appointments just for a stress release. Jeneanne has a wonderful gift and she is a great facilitator of eastern medicine.

When conventional medicine failed to alleviate my plantar fasciitis in 2010, I turned my attention towards holistic therapy. After reading positively glowing reviews on the interwebs about Galena AcuSpa’s wonderful services and caring practitioners, I immediately called Galena AcuSpa to schedule an appointment. Julie, GalenaAcu Spa’s wonderful receptionist, arranged for me to meet with licensed acupuncturist Renee Walker.
I credit Renee with helping me achieve my goal of curing my severe case of plantar fasciitis. My first visit with Renee found me barely able to walk across the room without wincing in pain. Four electro-​acupuncture administered sessions with Renee allowed me to resume training for the Long Beach 2010 Half Marathon. I’m happy to report that I completed the LBHM with no foot ailments either during or after the race.
Renee Walker was very kind, empathetic and supportive. I whole-​heartedly recommend her if you’re looking for acupuncture services in the area.

Tips: Verify with your health insurance carrier your complete coverage plan. My health insurance unfortunately did not cover acupuncture services which forced me to pay out-​of-​pocket costs.

When I was having trouble getting pregnant my doctor at Scripps suggesting doing acupuncture and told me about Jeneanne Payden with Galena Acuspa. During my first visit she really took the time to get to know me and my body and lifestyle and not only did we have an excellent session she sent me away with lots of suggestions about helping with fertility in general.
I ended-​up doing IVF but I continued to see Jeneanne which was a huge help. Physically, she helped prepare me for and endure the treatments and medications. Plus she has the best bedside manner which is such a comfort during something as emotionally difficult as IVF. Jeneanne always takes the time to talk to you and give you guidance that you can use in combination with Western medicine.
My sessions with Jenanne have been incrediblly beneficial. Not every acupuncturist specializes in fertility so I would only go to somebody who was an expert. I have been in excellent care and cannot recommend Jeneanne highly enough!

This lovely spa offers quality acupuncture, chiropractic care and well as skin care.
So here’s something you may or may not know. When a woman does IVF (Invitro Fertilization) good acupuncture can actually raise the probability of a successful outcome during an embryo transfer by about 50%.
That is amazingly significant.
My fertility specialist works in tandem with two wonderful acupuncturists from this office, Jeneanne Paden,
and Renee Walker,
. Both are Licensed Acupuncturists, Masters of Traditional Oriental Medicine and Diplomats in Acupuncture. These woman are highly respected within the San Diego medical community.
I first went to see Jeneanne about 5 years ago… when we were preparing for the embryo transfer that resulted in the birth of my daughter.
Paden not only is amazing as an acupuncturist but she’s extremely familiar with all of the stages of the complicated protocol for IVF. She explains it all much more clearly than any nurse was able to at my doctor’s office.
Her treatments are warming and entirely relaxing. I had kicked my addiction to caffeine just prior to one visit. and she helped me greatly with the resultant caffeine withdrawal headache.
I had also recently managed to addict myself to nasal decongestants (following a bad head cold)…she helped me (once again as a side product of an IVF session) to actually clear out my breathing.
They accept most forms of insurance, although infertility is not generally covered.
This is a highly intelligent, loving and very wonderful acupuncture practitioner.
