There’s a reason that WSPT are the PTs for the San Diego Padres… the staff is highly knowledgeable, and if you’re an athlete(even a recreational one like me), their objective is to get you back into your game as soon as possible. Dr Scott and his team took a smart, targeted, analytical approach to resolving my knee pain, and after 4 months, I feel stronger and more equipped to prevent future injury(and learned a lot about anatomy and physiology along the way!). The WSPT team genuinely cares for its patients and works hard toward recovery. WSPT also happens to be a happy place — I would actually look forward to my visits there, where the friendly and supportive staff made medical visits a very pleasant experience. My recovery was a true partnership and I highly recommend Dr Scott and his team(thanks Kristine, Jon, Michelle) and though I hope I won’t need to come back, this is the place I’ll go if I do.

This is actually my first post on Unilocal as I feel so strongly about how great Water and Sports PT has been for me. I’ve worked with both Dr CJ and Dr Scott for over 7 months now and can’t say enough good things about them. I’ve seen many PTs over the years for my shoulder and neck issues, always feeling frustrated when my PT prescription is for the shoulder but my neck is where the pain is, and the PT is only willing to work on the shoulder. With Dr CJ and Dr Scott, for the first time I’ve realized that all this stuff is related, and their philosophy is to treat the full issue, not just where you originally felt the symptoms. With Water and Sports PT you will be treated with great care and respect. They will take your health concerns seriously and genuinely want to see you recover. Go here first, don’t waste your time elsewhere. Shout-out to Jon, Kristine and the rest of the staff too, you guys all rock!

I started seeing Dr. Randi Kinney when she was at the Mission Beach location. I followed her to the Carmel Valley location because she’s great. She is very friendly and knowledgeable. She helped me out with knee and hip issues, and I am happy to say that I am pain free because of her. Just make sure you do the homework she gives you. As for the Carmel Valley location, it is a little small. But the people there are wonderful and well equipped to help you with any issue.

I absolutely agree with the above reviews! Dr. CJ is an excellent physical therapist with a delightful, warm personality! I am 67 years old and thought I was just«stuck» with my shoulder pain, but CJ zeroed right into the problem, gave me immediate relief as he worked on me and sent me home with excersizes to maintain pain-free. I also appreciated that he didn’t try to prolong the visits. He fixed me and then turned me loose. I also appreciated the excellent staff who worked on teaching me the excercizes after CJ finished his treatments. All in all, an excellent experience!

Dr. CJ and the staff are awesome. They are so personable and knowledgeable, and you really understand the methodology behind your treatment and exercises. All I wanted to do was get back to my sports/activities… Dr. CJ is empathetic to your situation and really relates as an athlete and active guy himself. What’s admirable about Dr. CJ’s practice is that he doesn’t drag your therapy out and require excessive visits. If he believes you are truly ready to be released, he says so timely, equips you with at-home exercises, and gets you back into your activities. I would not even consider another place to go to PT.
