I haven’t been to a barbershop for about 15 years and this was a great experience! Tina cut my hair in 20 minutes, paying great attention to detail and doing a great job. All things considered: price, quality, aesthetic– I would highly recommend this place.

Classic old school barbership. I always go to Zoltan, the awesome Hungarian barber. He always gets it right, good attention to detail, nice guys everyone in there. Will be back after already gone at least 6x, this is my go to place.

I get my haircut here every couple weeks. All the barbers are great but John is the reason I don’t go anywhere else in town. $ 10 military cuts with a straight razor neck shave.

What a great treat. Zoltar is Truly a professional and part of a barber family legacy. Get a shave just for the experience. I never understood why my wife gets manicure and pedicure etc… It’s awesome to be treated this way. I’d highly recommend these guys.

Just walked in. The man never cut my hair before and just figured it out. I highly recommend having «Z» cut your hair. He takes his time and gets it right. I felt guilty paying $ 14 for the base cut. I will definitely be coming back!

I am two for two here. I went a month ago and showed the guy a picture from a previous cut I had. He nailed it! I had another guy today and he also did a great job! The prices are really good and I am going to keep coming back! The only thing is they are not that talkative, but maybe it’s better that way. There is a tv on so I have no complaints.

They have a good shop here, I’ve had almost every barber cut my hair (even the «slow blonde») And she’s not slow anymore. She’s actually great. She was just starting out so of course she wasn’t awesome, I waited while she cut my hair for a while too when she first started but she actually timed my hair cut and gave me a good fade in under 14 minutes. And you can get your hair washed here too. Nice place. I keep coming back

Love this place! Kristina or Kristin (bad with names) is great! I’m pretty particular about barbers and stuck with one before all the time, that barber moved, tried a few since and was not impressed at all (both at Downtown barber and elsewhere, now found my fav and have a new regular barber with Kristin/​Kristina, lol. She will take the time to do a good cut (i have weird cowlicks and she seems to be the only one to take care of them) and i never walk away with mistakes as i have with a guy whos no longer there. I gave a good rating due to my Barber there, other then her the the shop is still great, there are some barbers clearly better then others though. I would give the shop overall 3.5 stars, but increased it because I’m happy with my regular barber.
Although they do not accept credit/​debit cards, they do have an ATM machine on site, so to avoid the charge, bring cash, i usually forget every time and have to pay the fee.

What’s good about being in the vicinity of a big military base like Camp Pendleton is the necessity to have a decent barber around town. There are actually several here in San Clemente and all within a few blocks of each other… so it was like eeny meeny miny mo when it came down to pick one.
I don’t normally go to a barber since I cut my own hair, but when it comes down to a major interview, I had to leave the hair cutting to the professionals, and this place delivers. Fast service and they pretty much pay attention to detail in their hair cutting and very meticulous.
This place is unisex… not U and I sex… but unisex, family oriented and decent in pricing. Average haircut is about $ 12, but they have a military discount. They also have a $ 2 coupon from their website so you can either print it out or just show your phone with the coupon and you get the instant savings.

Boyfriend and I came here to get his hair cut, had to wait a long time there was only one girl there, she did call for help and at this point I wish she didn’t she is a lot better then her help who took to long and we were not to happy with the cut or beard and stash trim. Well good thing there is other places to go or we can come back and get the girl who seams like she knows what she is doing. The other gir had 3 haircuts done before she got done wow

Got a great haircut from Henrick! First chair on the left when you walk in. Had a crappy haircut two weeks prior. He cleaned it all up. Best haircut I’ve had in a long time! Highly recommended. Will be back! $ 14 includes hot lather straight edge neck shave.
