One of the nicest Starbucks in the area. Friendly staff, but small location. This review is strictly for their Molten Chocolate Lava Latte. Limited edition for Valentine’s Day, which got me thinking as to why I’m still single. Yes, it could be my sarcasm. Or my lack of a mansion. Or my childish behavior at times. Running around at theme parks just as excited to ride the rides as the little kids, yes that’s me. Or it could be the fact that IF I had a Valentine I would give her a cup of their limited edition whipped cream. The kind that goes on this limited edition Molten Lava drink. Think chocolate espresso mousse and that’s what this whipped cream tastes like. The drink itself has java chips, and a rich chocolate flavor that’s better than flowers. Or at least in my opinion this drink would be better than giving her flowers. Girls may not think so. This drink truly is one of the best inventions that Starbucks has come up with in many years. So cheers!

This one star is not for the everyday, nice, Starbucks trained baristas who are normally there. This is for the rude witch who was there on the 15th. I’m sorry your store was a mess but I had nothing to do with it. Maybe try a mail room job where you don’t have to interact with people…

This is my go-to Starbucks. When the regular baristas are there it’s great. When they have replacements, not so much. They tend to be rude, snippy and slow. The line at 6:45am is about 7 deep and I can’t stand there holding a baby for 15 minutes for an iced coffee. The best thing Starbucks could’ve done was create online ordering at this location. Just order, pick up, and go. No waiting.

I did it. I became Basic. I tried the Pumpkin Spice Latte. I frequent Starbucks, but usually go for the cheap/low-cal Americano, unless it’s the occasional splurge on a Caramel Macchiato, White Choc Mocha Frap or Peppermint Mocha given the season. It was Halloween. I’d avidly said that«I don’t like Pumpkin» for as long as I can remember, but recently attended the Half Moon Bay Pumpkin Festival, and found that my taste buds have changed… that or maybe my grandmother’s Pumpkin Pie consumed at age 5 really wasn’t all that great… So, I found that I liked pumpkin chili, and pumpkin fudge, and cream cheese pumpkin rolls at the festival, but I’ve got to say, I really don’t see what this Pumpkin Spice Latte hype is all about. I’ll stick to that Americano, and leave the PSL’s to the army of Ugg boots. =P Location was clean, but service wasn’t the fastest even at a slow afternoon time.

Horrible costumer service. Old, ugly, and on top of that rude staff. Slow and got my order wrong. How hard is it to say Hi! And make a simple cup of coffee?

Zero stars! What a waste of 20 minutes… 2 people behind the counter while the manager is on a break. 5 people waiting for drinks… plus our order of 3 drinks. We were told at time of order that they had caramel ribbon crunch frapps, so we ordered 2; one with soy and one with coconut milk no whip, and a caramel macchiato with soy. The line was growing and the manager finally got up to help take more orders? All 3 employees were moving with NO sense of urgency. All 3 of our drinks were wrong. Without asking, they replaced the soy drinks with coconut milk. Made the macchiato a frapp and there was obviously no no ribbon crunch. Just frustrating. They need to get their act together!

I’ve been going to this Starbucks for the longest time, probably since it opened. My job is really close to it and I was always happy with the service I received. Lately, the service has been horrible. I noticed the change when they switched managers, even the atmosphere at the store seems to be tense. They used to have a lot of workers in the morning including the manager greeting people and helping out to take drinks, etc. Now with this new manager who I believe her name is Lizette there is almost no workers in the morning and she is never at sight to help, whenever she helps she makes the wrong drinks and has an attitude, I’ve tried to greet her and she ignores me. My last few times I have gotten my drink made wrong, they forget about my pastries and last time I had to wait for 15 minutes for 3 drinks and people that got there after me got their drinks first. It just seems like this Starbucks is going down hill, sadly! It was my favorite location, due to the convenience so close to my job. Not anymore!!!

Starbucks… it was really easy to write this review. 11 am on Saturday 8/1, and you’re telling customers you are out of every thing? That everything you have is what is out? How does that make for good business sales? Over 15 people in line — three people working, though you can hear other associates in the back carrying a conversation. When I finally got close enough to see the pastry case, I was disgusted by fruit flies inside, and just the overall lack of attention(empty shelves, pastries turned upside down, etc). Taking on La Boulange was supposed to make you better, but not at this store. I walked out despite being in line for over 10 minutes, and was next to be served. But you were out of EVERYTHING I would have wanted anyway.

Was in the area and wanted a frap! I had my dog with me and I asked for some whip cream in a small cup. What I received was an attitude with the answer. It has sugar! Snippy little barista!!! To top it off she had my drink ready, but didn’t bother to call me after several minutes!!! Not cool at all! It’s not often I get the cup with whip! But, all Starbucks I’ve visited have always asked if they can hook my dog up with the whip in a cup.

This is the worst Starbucks between San Mateo and San Francisco. Every time they get my drink wrong and have to remake it they make it sloppy. I do not find them at all welcoming or friendly. My drink mind you is a Carmel macchiato upside down with whip. It’s not hard. The staff is sometimes very good, but I feel a dark cloud is in the air when some people work. I’ll wait an extra 3 minutes for my coffee at the Starbucks in Bayhill.

Came in here for coffee and bagel. Didn’t have the Starbucks WiFi and their wireless charging ppwermat doesn’t work here. I tried 2 of them. Ordered butter bagel and got cream cheese instead. Coffee was filled to the rim with no room for milk.

This happened to a customer who was in front of me on the line. He ordered a frappucino and he was served cappuccino, he told them that they gave him a different order, the cashier apologized and the other guy immediately made a frappuccino and the manager stopped by and gave him a 4 $ gift card for next visit. And they did all these with a smile.

Your usual Starbucks Plenty of outdoor seats. Perfect for sitting down people watching with a cup of joe on a usual sunny day. The cashier looks like a young hipster, which was odd given that it’s in San Bruno :) The drinks took a LONG time to come. Several folks who ordered ahead of me got there drinks and left and I was still missing mine. I only ordered a tall latte – nothing else. Shouldn’t take that long for something that is one of the simplest items on the menu Overall, an average Starbucks

Pros: –Your basic Starbucks, you know what to expect –Pretty clean –Drink came out in timely fashion, and sweetened just a touch, which was great(my preference). Cons: –COLD. Even after I politely asked for them to turn down the AC, I could still feel the cold air blasting on me from up above. Was it were the table was situated? What is the obsession with these cafes cranking up the AC? It’s not Florida or Texas… ??? –It’s not supposed to be a kindergarten — kind of loud a lot of the time due to screeching babes.
