I would give this place 0 stars if I could. The service sucked and food wasn’t that good, I ordered a Arnold palmer from a big Filipino chick with glasses and it took literally 15 minuets for it to be brought to my table by ANOTHER waiter … Then my husband ordered a Arnold Palmer as well, and 10 minuets later it was brought by the first big lady and not the 2nd waiter. Confusing Right ?! … Moral of story, service sucked and food wasn’t all that. Me and my family will not be coming back here. . We will spend our money elsewhere.

I went in today to pick up my online order. The waitress who put together my order spoke to me in the most rude tone possible. Iam the customer and my money pays for your wages. They should really teach their employees some good manners. The food is good but they should get rid of some female employees. They got some attitude problem.

I come here every so often and always enjoy my time here. The service is good and fast. Surprisingly their steak is awesome! I get it everytime I come to Chilis, and I’m never disappointed. I don’t know why people rate this Chilis locations only a few stars, I love coming here! Great for a date night, grabbing lunch with friends, or a family dinner!

Came here a couple times to pick up some to-go orders for my coworkers and I. And each time, there was something wrong: either an order wrong, sides missing, an entrée missing, etc. I do understand that I should’ve checked everything before leaving but when you are on a time crunch and you don’t have time to look in 5 – 7 containers to see if everything is correct/not missing, you don’t really have time to be doing all that! Not to mention, you kind of «trust» these establishments to do it right to earn your repeated business, right? Not to mention, one of times I went, I had to wait about 10 minutes before getting helped as I was just standing there waiting to speak to someone about picking up my order. I didn’t want to be rude as I saw some of the servers tending to their respective tables but no one even acknowledged me until the lady behind the bar asked me if I had been helped. But nonetheless, I did have to go back both times to get the order(s) corrected and/or pick up what was missing. I do give an extra star since one of the two times, the manager or whatnot was able to give me a $ 5 gift certificate for having to come back down. But it would’ve been nice to: 1) not have to go through that in the first place and 2) have gotten another certificate or something the second time when it happened. But other than that, the food was still good as any other Chili’s restaurant.

Going to chilis with a couple of friends or my boyfriend always turns out to be a fun time. You can’t go into chilis thinking you are eating amazing cuisine. It is a fun place with good food for a chain restaurant. I really enjoy their buffalo chicken salad, and I think the service is fairly fast for them always being busy. I recommend this place for group parties, and/or a fun night out.

If you’re in a hurry come sit near the bar to get served and get your food faster than the other tables outside. I usually come here during lunch time very often that the waitress or servers know my family and I come together to sit near the bar. I like how their lunch menu usually changes when I come back for lunch every month or so. It gives me some variety but there are times where I just stick to the magherita flat bread and chicken enchilada soup or chili for my lunch starters. The street tacos are just 2 quick bites and just feel more like a starter rather than a filling lunch meal. So if you’ve ate something before, order this if you wanna just hang out w/your friends who haven’t eaten lunch yet. The burgers and BBQ ribs are pretty standard. Beef and chicken fajitas are usually sizzling fresh on the platter. It come with a bunch of standard fixings like sour cream, tomatoes, lettuce, and guacamole. The strawberry lemonade is good and I usually get that for my drink. I thought watermelon lemonade was underwhelming since I was expecting real watermelon but it was just syrup and lemonade. Decent place for lunch and dinner overall.

I would like to start this off by saying, ewww! My man and I been coming here on a regular but stopped a few years ago because of the food and service. We should have just stayed away. With is wrong with the cooks?! They must be cooking with one hand and blindfolded! On top of that, they were out of haalf the food and desserts! This was in the middle of the day! It took over 40 mins just to get me and my daughters meal and my man was still waiting for his! Then when his plate finally arrived, it looked like shit! The plate was all dirty around the edge of plate(see pic), just plain messy! The waiter was a ghost pretty much the whole time. They confirmed why we stopped going so many years ago. Duces!

After years of not coming to chili’s I came with my family today for a late lunch. I was actually very excited because my aunt came to visit us from El Salvador and I wanted her to try the food here. Unfortunately, overall service was slow and some employees should improve their customer service skills. As we enter the restaurant the host didn’t greet us. He right away asked how many in our party and showed us our way to a table. We sat down and then our waitress comes. She seemed nice and friendly. Our drinks came right away, but for some reason our food took a long time to be ready. When the waitress brought our food she didn’t even say enjoy your meal or something… Complete silence from her part. Not once she came to our table to see if we needed anything or to at least ask if everything was okay. I saw her going to other tables and be more attentive to them. Even when paying it took such a long time to get our check and also to get our change back. I really wish my family and I could have had a better experience since we haven’t come in such a long time. I don’t think I will be coming back to this place… at least not any time soon. Hopefully customer service improves.

Just wanted a nice, quick small lunch. Figured why not go to chili’s, get a quick lunch and call it a day. First, we get inside and there is no one to greet us or seat us. 2 other couples and I were looking around for someone to seat us and or give us a menu. Then, the service was really slow. I had to keep looking for the waitress to tell her that we wanted appetizers and that we were ready to order. So then, we waited 30 minutes watching other people get their orders while my boyfriend and I waited patiently. Then, we order the smoked wings as an appetizer… Instead of a smoked color I received wings that appeared to be under-cooked. My boyfriend took one bite and confirmed my thought by concluding it was not cooked. I refused to eat them so I traded them in for boneless buffalo wings, the only thing bearable. Meals: They came a second before we decided we should just pay for the drink and appetizers and eat somewhere else. –I ordered Crispy Honey-Chipotle Chicken Crispers and what I got was un-sauced greasy chicken strips. I did not have the patience to wait 2 hours to have them change my meal. –My boyfriend ordered the fish tacos. They were so dry that he could not eat them, and the avocado’s looked like they had been sitting out for a while. Will not be returning unless I suddenly become homeless and desperate.

My family a i loves to go to this place. Today we had a very bad experience with this restaurant. Our server name Cody was the worst. He was rude and his attitude was bad. He threw the straws on the table. And when he was taking our order he didn’t write on a piece of paper our order. My order was incomplete I ordered extra shrimps we never got it. He was busy watching football so by the time he got our food it was warm not hot. He never refilled our drinks. Cause he didn’t write our order down my steak was well done instead of medium well. I didn’t complain cause I was hungry. My wife was very frustrated with this server. If he hates his job quit! When he got the copy of our check he was pissed cause I gave him a $ 3.00 tip. I’m taking this matter to the Chillis corporate office. This guy Cody is a douche bag. Food was ok that’s why I gave this place a star.

hace una semana yo viene a comer aquí con mi novia. a este restaurant. y tuvimos una mala experiencia. desafortunamente se nos olvido el teléfono en la mesa. solo tardamos 5 minutos regresar por el tel. y ya no estaba. le preguntamos a la mesera. y nos dijo que no había visto nada. cosa que no es creible. porque dejamos el dinero de la cuenta en la recogió el dinero porque el teléfono no? la mesera es una chaparrita de nombre«jessica» y ella negó no haberlo visto. ella fue la única que levantó el dinero de la cuenta y por supuesto el telefono. llamamos al manager. y tampoco hizo algo para encontrarlo. este restaurant es una basura.

I really wish I can say good things about this place but unfortunately, service was bad, took a glimpse at the kitchen on my way to the restaurant, and the floor was so wet that it is actually unsafe to work in such conditions. Next, I GOTFOODPOISONING!!! came home hours later I have extreme stomach pain along with other symptoms. Never going there again!!!

2.5 Stars. Perhaps it was the nostalgia of taking the fams here a long time ago. I mean it is a great place if you have young kids: As there is a large diverse menu for almost any taste. And who cares if your kids are a tad bit boisterous? Going by myself and getting a quick meal, after a airport drop off, is a whole different story. One of my major restaurant sins is watching your prepared meal just sit under heat lamps while the servers jibber jabber… I friggin hate this. Meal delivered and it is luke warm… I could have been like my granny and bitched and sent it back but I was hungry and bit the bullet. Food is pretty mediocre. If you got a family its perfect. Not so much adults only.

A+++!! BRAVO!!! Ok, I work right by this place — i HAVE for the last couple years. Every time I passed Chili’s I scoffed, «why would I ever go to Chili’s?!» Suddenly starting from Monday, I started getting strange cravings for steak so late at night, and I’d tell myself the next day I’d find myself some steak for lunch when I get to work. Of course, the closest place that offered it had to be Chili’s. I looked at their menu on the website, and I thought to myself, «Oh dayuummmm, their stuff looks GOOOD. and so REASONABLYPRICED. AND you can even place a to-go order online.» and I found myself strangely excited to go to Chili’s the next day. I even invited a friend, who politely declined. The next day came, and I walked in. I was still slightly worried about my experience as I walk into this somewhat dark restaurant with dirty floors… No host came out to meet me. Not to worry! I’ll go sit myself down at the bar. I sit down, and immediately notice a «ziosk» I can play around with. I fidget with it for a while, and a friendly waitress comes over — so I immediately order a ribeye steak. With no look of judgement in her friendly expression, she asks«mashed potatoes and broccoli ok as sides?» I say«HELLYEAH!»!!! Well, in my head I did. I politely answered, «yes please!» I wait for some time that felt like a blink of an eye — she comes back with a hot, 10oz ribeye with piling sides of mashes potatoes and steamed broccoli. I cut into it — it’s cooked perfectly to medium rare!!! No more or no less! Then I bit into it. I couldn’t believe I almost thought about changing my mind and NOT getting steak today(b/c I ate too many cookies in the morning). I devoured that piece of cow SO quickly, and made sure to take pictures and snaps every step of the way to make sure that everyone else knows how good my life is. When I finished the order, I quickly came to a realization that I don’t even have to wait for my server lady to come back with a check — I just quickly paid with the«Ziosk», tipped, and was out the door. My walk back to the office was pleasant with a light breeze, and the sun was shining. Can’t wait to return again next week. DONUT let yourself sit at your desk with your sad desk lunch.

Service = Our server was really tired. He was friendly, but he kept forgetting our things and was much more attentive with the other table he was serving. Food = The entrees were okay. My friend said they downsized the portions, but the taste was okay. The chocolate molten cake was AMAZING, so get that. Environment = The waiting area smelled really bad. The place could generally be cleaner. Parking = Free lot, decent amount of space on a Saturday night after 10. Others = They use the NoWait app. I believe it lets you get in line if you’re in the area. If you’re waiting it tells you how many parties are in front of you. Also, I like that you could pay with the machines attached to each table. I couldn’t wait any longer for the server.

Great affordable lunch menu(less than $ 10) with generous portions. I opted for the unlimited salad and soup option(not in the lunch menu) which comes with a big platter of chips and a generous portion of salad. The southwest chicken soup is pretty good, although some might find it slightly spicy. Service is okay. but I wasn’t expecting much anyway.

Back for another Old Timer burger(so named on the menu), plus chili, onion rings and glasses of J Lohr Cabernet Sauvignon. The first glass of cab came from a bottle that had been open for awhile… in other words, the wine had been exposed to the air for far too long. The second glass, which we received about 25 minutes later, was from a freshly-opened bottle, and the taste and quality was far superior to the first glass. I suggest they think about acquiring a system for open bottles that minimizes air contact. But, this is probably not a realistic expectation on my part. The food was good, as expected, especially the panko-breaded onion rings, which were admittedly delicious. I would like to think they make them there. The waiter was A-OK, except when she took 15 minutes for a 2nd glass-of-wine order. Next time, I’ll order two glasses of wine with my initial order and avoid this problem. It appears that she has too many tables to take time to go to the bar for wine orders… this is not the kind of place where people drink wine, so it’s not a big problem. If it was, I suggest a «back-bar» where the wait staff can get drinks, leaving the bar patrons to direct service. She checked back several times… and said the kitchen was slow, then the bartender was slow, then, «sorry about the late wine». These conditions are good to know, but I would have appreciated more delivery and less status checks. The place was stressful due to crowding. There was no place to park. Once in, we had to wait 15 minutes for a table… and there were lots of tables visible. I would guess it was a server(waiter availability problem) shortage. There was something new. There is a little tablet device on the table. Where, among other things like games for the kids, and marketing… you can pay for your meal with a credit card. No waiting for a charge slip that you sign. Progress! Anyway, I still like ‘em. Enjoy!

Ja es ist eine Restaurant-Kette, aber das Chilis in San Bruno ist schon né coole Nummer. Tolle Bar und so herrlich relaxed! Obwohl mitten im Business-Centrum eines Vorortes San Franciscos ist es immer voll. Ich frage mich immer, wo die ganzen Leute herkommen? Im Chilis ißt man — wie in allen Amerikanischen Fress-Ketten — kein Steak Medium, lieber Burger, well done = durchgebraten, ohne Keime bitte :) Dennoch: Hammergeile Margarita Presidente, unbedingt versuchen! Auch Baby Pork Rips(was haben die für Babyschweinchen???) mit Honey BBQ und für die Mutigen oder Mexikaner unter euch gerne auch mal a la Habanero(viel Magarita Presidente dazu trinken) Gegenüber ist das Marriott Contryjard, wer dort übernachtet, braucht nur über die Strasse fallen ohne die Gefahr von einem San Francisco Sheriff eingefangen zu werden :)
