I don’t normally review places but this place is wonderful. The food is so good and the service is fast. The waitress went well past my expectations for service. The only thing wrong is that I don’t live near this place. I’ll be coming back for sure

ditto every other review. food is really good and cheap, but the service is awful. staff always seems mad, always in a hurry to get you out the door. lady screams at you and has no patience. also the times listed on the Unilocal page a different tham the store. theyres been times where it states its open but when i call the phone just rings. if you want good, quick, cheap food and don’t mind the service this is a go to.

I give this place a 3 star rating, food is ok service can be alot better and the establishment can due a better job at making things look a little cleaner. Once entering the Restaurant you are greeted by a lady pointing at empty tables telling you to sit sit as if she wants us to sit and get out of her way, being that she is the only one working the face of the restaurant, seriously this lady is running around the tables like a chicken with its head cut off she seems extremely overwhelmed. So we proceed to sit at the table and wait about 5 min to receive our menus –1 star, we get our menu and look at what they have to offer, menu seems legit, we order shrimp wonton, chicken in broccoli over black bean sauce, Mongolian beef, chicken fried rice, beef chow main and a order of egg roles, soup was fantastic chicken in broccoli was a not so good the chicken was extremely flat like it had been beaten and run over before death, Mongolian beef was more salty than spicy but the beef was tender and plump, egg role not so bad, rice was crap and chow main was tasty. I would say if you want mediocre chinnese food and don’t care to much about service this is your place price is average, on a side note they did give us a plate of sliced oranges and fortune cookies which was a tasty after meal treat.

Overview: The food here is good if you’re okay with the lackluster service. Food: Simple, good taste, comes out quick, and is cheap. Service: Don’t expect any smiles in this place. They seat you quickly, expect you to immediately know what you want, take your order, never say you’re welcome, and rush you out the door.

Not worth writing an in depth review. The texture of the chicken and beef was disgusting. The chicken udon soup tasted like ocean water. The water they gave us to drink tasted like nothing I’ve ever had before. They didn’t have porridge, and they didn’t have any of their dumplings. No porridge? It is literally made from rice. Not a good experience. This place definitely does not deserve the amount of stars it has.

I normally get the wonton noodle soup on a cold day or the pork-chop with rice. Price is very reasonable, fast and very friendly service. I highly recommend this place.

This was my fiancé’s favourite lunch spot when he worked out of one of the nearby buildings. I got to join him one day for lunch here and we split some egg rolls and a plate of the Salt & Pepper Pork Chop. Overall, a great experience and delicious food. I can’t wait to go back.

I usually go for the salt garlic fish, coffee ribs and fried rice. The to go portions are small for the price but the quality of food is there. Pretty fast service to…

Claypot rice is not available for lunch :( Decent chinese food at fair prices. Awesome option in the San Bruno area where food options are pretty limited. Portion is great. We had the hotplate beef and the stir fried mixed vegetable. The mixed veggies were pretty normal, but the hotplate beef was excellent. Will definitely come back again for lunch!

The location was nice, food was yummy and the staff were friendly. Ordered food to go on a Friday during lunch hours and it only took less than 15 minutes. Ordered their salt n pepper porkchops rice plate and it was so good. Decent serving, would be back.

Finally! Trying to find a restaurant that serves delicious Cantonese food has not been easy. It’s been many years, in fact, since I’ve tasted Cantonese food this yummy. Their hot and sour soup is delicious and reminiscent of the yummy bowls of this soup I frequently had. Their chow fun is outstanding especially compared to those offered by other restaurants in the area and even those in SF. This place does get busy, so if visiting during prime dining hours, a wait is not unexpected. There is ample parking in the lot outside, and service has been consistently good. Looking forward to future visits and to more of the yummy food!

I was utterly disgusted when I saw our waitress pour leftover soups from another table back into the soup pot. Then I saw her use the same UNWASHED soup bowls to serve another table. They recycle their hot and sour soup. She didn’t even try to be sneaky about it! What must go on in the kitchen? Avoid this place!

Pretty Yummy! Lots of parking available — yeah! People there are very nice and I like the fact that I can order a plate, vs having to order whole orders for a mixed plate. They have a great dish with pumpkin… this may be my favorite!

Au’s Kitchen Is The Best Chinese Food On The Peninsula. The Service Is Always Friendly, Polite And Seemingly Very Quick Also. Prices Are More Than Reasonable, For Such Delicious Cuisine. The Won Ton Soup, Combination Fried Rice And Orange Chicken Are Among My Favorite Dishes. When I Can Have Lunch There I Do So Gladly . if You Don’t Feel Like Cooking, And Want To Try Something New. Try Au’s In San Bruno… ”)
