This is a dive bar that doesnt pretend to be anything other than that. Stuff is sticky and a little dirty… but that is the point. Great karaōke and cool bartenders with great prices a drinks.
Nice and dark inside. A good place to bring your side date for a rowdy time.

Different, Metal, Sub culture, Dark, Gory, and FREAKING AWESOME. I always have a great experience when I go to zombies, especially on Mondays (where they tend to have free food, which is always delicious). If you haven’t notice, this is a gothic/​heavy metal bar, but they are some of the nicest, accepting, caring individuals you can meet. The bar staff are great, drinks amazing, and prices to die for (pun intended). They tend to have fundraiser for humans in need, from children struggling In a nearby hospital, to the elderly fighting cancer. As I said VERY CARING AND LOVING SPOT!

Wow! A bar for heavy metal fans. Excellent! Great service. Plenty of parking. Great music. I do wish it was open earlier. I will be back to check out the live music. I bet the bathrooms can pretty nasty though, but thats to be expected at any metal music venue. Anyhow, I dont recall what the bathrooms were like. I mustve had a few too many if I totally forgot about the bathrooms.

Went on the first Friday for karaōke. Wasnt busy at all so service was pretty fast and the drinks were pretty cheap.

People/​staff there are also awesome!!!
One down side is the sound quality there, the live performances are usually beyond deafening because of the lack of a good sound system.

While driving around I spotted a sign that said zombies so I looked it up to see what this mysterious place was. Once I read a little about it I was convinced my friends and I had to make a stop there. l love the concept of the bar and the live music was a nice touch. My friends mainly listen to country and they even enjoyed the music as much as I did. The best part about this place is the drinks. They are good and cheap! If we had more time on our vacation we would have gone back again.

I was kind of worried about going here because I’m not a huge fan of heavy metal music. However this bar was awesome! They had live music which I’m always a fan of and the drink prices were ridiculously cheap. The bar tender was super attentive and they had pool and darts. If I’m ever in San Antonio again I would definitely go back!

Here’s the deal. I was impressed with the friendliness of the bartender as well as the theme of the establishment. The women’s bathroom has the appropriate amenities but the men’s room 1. Has no lock on the door 2. Has no toilet paper 3. Has no soap 4. Has no running water in order to flush the toilet. We mentioned this to the bartender and he just casually replied that yeah, that’s how it is. Soooo when you use the restroom and have nowhere to wash your hands I have to assume you are using dirty poop hands to serve us our drinks. Yucky.

Great drinks, silly you have to pay 5 dollar cover charge. The band’s they have there were good. The sound could have been lowered being in a small building. If the building were double the size then yeah I can see why you would turn up the volume. All in all it was fun next time I’ll wear ear plugs to soften the sound a bit.

Great place for a beer. The crowd and staff are friendly even if you don’t «fit in». The live music is pretty good. And of course the beer mugs are HUGE! Just like God intended, or the devil at this joint, jk about the devil thing, the beer is indeed huge and cuh-​hold.

This bar is by far my favorite place to hang out, chitchat and enjoy company with good people. I’m not into metal, but it’s ok because it’s a rock bar with a zombie theme. Drinks are amazingly priced and the staff is very sweet. The owners are in a league of their own when it comes to customer service. They go above and beyond to make it a great night for all. Any given night of the week is the perfect night to go, great specials during the week and live bands on the weekends. This is a bar that actually cares about you getting home in one piece.

Another heavy rocker zombie theme bar. Don’t come here for a great drink selection cause you will be sorely disappointed. this place is known for the concerts and the crowd they bring on the weekends. The owners are nice. If you go during the week, they will come talk to you. The prices are decent and that’s about all. The décor is very zombie like. Place has been around for a long yime and it looks it. Keep your expectations in line with the place highlights and you will be ok. P. s: no red bull!

I love beer, I love zombies, and I love great service. I like bars that are respectful and everyone is friendly. This is one of my favorite bars to go to now. Music is awesome and owner Steve knows what he’s doing. All the bartenders deserved to be tipped. They are great and very sociable. Prices are good, they have one pool table and an outdoor patio I love so I can have a conversation and smoke. Rick, AJ, all you guys are awesome! Keep up the good work!

Has the name suggests it’s a heavy zombie theme. Blood splatter everywhere, blood smeared hands in the bathrooms. (Of course is not real blood.) I have never really been into metal. But oddly enough I really enjoyed myself.
One of my military buddys is in a band and he invited us out to come drink with him. So we obliged. At first I was a little off put by all the screaming the bands were doing. Felt like some kind of devil worshiping was going on. I guess they were just doing what they were supposed to do.
The drink prices are amazing. I would come back alone solely for the price of the drinks. I don’t know if this is an insult to the metal community but, everyone is really friendly at this venue.
If you want to listen to some death-​metal and enjoy some good cheap drinks while shooting pool, this is the place for you.

Seems like a decent place to chill after a long day at work. I didn’t stay for the bands, since I’m honestly not into hard rock/​metal, but pre-​music it was pretty chill. Only a few people, one pool table, you can sit inside or outside and they have a jukebox for rock/​metal music only. The bartenders are also pretty good and can mix a mean drink.
