Slowest Service Ever. Not to mention the guy in the drive thru always begging for money.

It was hella good & the waitresses are super nice
Unfortunately, there’s no Whataburgers in Chicago :(

I’m not typically inspired to write reviews about fast food restaurants, unless I feel particularly passionate about them in a positive or negative way, or if I have a unique experience at a specific location. For the most part, everyone already knows what they’re going to experience when they visit one of these places. Occasionally there is an exception to the rule that demands our attention.
If you’re not familiar with Whataburger, this chain is the In-​N-​Out Burger of Texas. They aren’t as widely known across the country as their California cousins, but you’ll discover their reputation is very strong in the Southwest and Texans are very proud of their burger chain, and deservedly so. While the entire Whataburger chain is renowned for their friendly service and clean facilities, this specific location goes above and beyond.
I’ve eaten lunch at this particular Whataburger approximately once each week for the past two years, including before I began Unilocaling. They have experienced very little turnover and the Manager, Kevin, has been with the company for 18 years. The entire group works together like a well-​oiled machine, dishing out tasty burgers, chicken, salads, fries, and milkshakes at a blazing pace, and always with smiling faces. Considering that this site is not located in the most upscale part of town, I think this is quite an accomplishment and a tribute to the management at this store.
When I order a burger from almost any other restaurant, fast food or steakhouse, I always pick up my bun and rearrange my tomatoes, pickles, lettuce, etc. to make sure they cover the entire burger and they aren’t all just piled on top of each other. At this Whataburger, every time I pick up the bun the ingredients look like a picture from their marketing department, perfectly spaced every time. After going through this exercise about 100 times in the past two years, I don’t really need to lift the bun any more, but I always do just to marvel at the pride and craftsmanship of the workers at this little fast food joint.
Yes, it’s just a fast food burger and fries, but it’s extremely well made, it’s cheap, and it’s served in a clean environment where I feel very comfortable and the employees are happy. That’s much more than you would normally expect from convenience restaurant.

Went on on wednesday 6÷26÷13 to do a breakfast pickup. It’s one of the restaurants that’s conveniently close to my home. As soon as I walk in the doror;fantastic service. They greeted me warmly. The staf were all working having a great time, it seemd to me. The manager, cashier, cooks were very cordial to me. As I left with my order, one of the cooks thanked me for my purchase, and asked me back, and said it with so much enthusiasm in his demeanor, that you can bet I’ll be back often, and i recommend this Whataburger to everyone, especially if you want great service.
