The brodettes and bros at this home depot are always so welcoming and helpful. They are patient and always show me where to find what I need. They listen to my stupid house problems and help me sort it out. If I stare at the items on a shelf like a moron, they lock on to me and say«hey, how can I help?» And then, they do.

Excellent experience today & previous visit! In the paint department a young man, Omar helped me. He went over & beyond despite having many customers! My paint had to be customized & he matched it perfectly. I needed other supplies & he helped me as well. The manager in charge was Nancy, she was informed of my experience there. She was very kind & courteous.

The Home Depot, the home owners, project lovers, and great ideas store. Anytime that you buy a home that wasn’t just built yesterday there is going to be things that you want to change or will need to repair. The Home Depot provides a store that will give you a little bit of nearly everything to help you on your next project and also knowledgeable staff that are willing to help and educate you if needed along the way. They’re also placed in locations that are very convenient to residential areas so when you realize that you forgot the paint thinner to clean the paint brushes its just a hop skip and jump away. The bathrooms were clean and fairly maintained. The staff at self checkout was very helpful and willing to assist in checkout when there are items to large and heavy to run across the scanner. With a home and a love for doing home projects The Home Depot is going to become my next best friend.

First time coming to this Home Depot to buy supplies to build something for my house. Took 20+ minutes to find someone to help us, then the guy was unfriendly, unhelpful, and was I a rush to be done with us. It’s surprising how many employees they have who do not know the answers to general questions and can not seem to find someone to help. Very disappointed, won’t go back.

Worst customer service I have ever experienced. I just moved to San Antonio and needed extra keys made– after waiting 20 minutes, an employee finally showed up to the key station. He talked to his friend(a non-employee) the entire time and took 15 minutes to make 4 keys. The customer behind me asked to speak to the manager, but 2 employees refused to call. Once I got home, none of the keys worked. I will not be shopping here again.

I’ve enjoyed the store experience. I avoid making eye contact with the store associates as they always want to help you find what you need… which isn’t bad at all! But more often than not that takes you on a wild goose chase around the store since people sometimes don’t know where things are. BUT don’t try calling. This was very frustrating. I called about seeing if they had bamboo in stock and was transferred 5x dropped twice and the last time finally just asked to speak with a manager. That of course got my answer. Amy took my call and apologized for the phone system, then had Doug look for the bamboo while I was on the phone. He also apologized and was very helpful. Nice guy. So aside from the call in mishap it’s a good location. Oh, and they don’t have any live bamboo just in case you were wondering, so the call saved me gas and a drive.

This is where I usually shop when I ever need anything for any projects. The staff is always extremely friendly. There’s usually always someone walking around looking for lost puppies(like myself) just aimlessly walking around the store with no idea where to even begin to look. It’s nice when you ask an employee where something is and they are quick and know exactly where you need to go. There’s a lot of aisles so walking around everywhere trying to find something and you have no idea where to look can be frustrating — but the employees here definitely try to make your life a bit easier!

I really like this Home Depot. I’ve been there a few times for general items — I mostly can comment on their outdoor section/selection. I’ve been really happy with them. The plants that I’ve bought there have always done well. The staff is courteous, friendly, and knowledgeable. Overall: Recommend!

I remember when I moved here from Houston and the first time I walked in this very Home Depot. I was amazed, awed, shocked, surprised and all of the above when not one, but two people asked«Hey ma’am, can I help you with anything?» That doesn’t happen near enough in the bustling metropolis we call Houston. I like San Antonio. I like it a lot and I like the Home Depot here. This HD is great. It’s our go-to place for home projects, and just any of my honeys basic necessities(all wants I might add)! I do have to agree with Aliyak K. when she says that they don’t always have what you need in stock or even at all sometimes, but the staff is so extremely helpful, it makes up for it. They will also give you recommendations on who might have what you need, which is refreshing! I noticed last night just how attentive and smart some of these guys are. For the most part they really know THEIR particular department and if they don’t, they get someone for you who does know it. Overall, I think that this HD is top notch & I never mind going on in there with my other half because I almost always find something I want in the design center area. What?! Throw pillows, for 3.00 a piece?! Cha-Ching! My mom always did say«Girl, you could find something you want everywhere we go, probably even in a lumber yard!» Well, mom, not quite a lumber yard, but close!

Offered at not just this Home Depot location but at all Home Depots, your child can also participate in the Kids Workshops where they can make projects like the creation of toolboxes, fire trucks and mail organizers. The craft is COMPLETELYFREE! The first Saturday of every month, starting at 10am, supplies go quickly! While I have been there with my 7 year old, they have also brought in the local fire department, complete w/trucks and helicopters! There’s a small snack sometimes and a lot of interactions with the staff. If you try to just buy the craft, it’s OVER $ 10 so this is a GREAT offer.

The employees are always have answers to my questions. My favorite part of the store is the awesome plant selection. Right now they have Pothos Ivy’s and Heartleaf Ivy’s on sale for $ 3.95. Your basically paying half price for the plants.

Ah, this Home Depot has seen us walk through the doors for many a home project and numerous battles with the yard. The staff, while seemingly always busy or in the middle of something, are really smart cookies. While HD does not have everything in stock all of the time, they do have quite a few higher end home renovation items and the ability to order what you need. We utilized HD for a bathroom remodel last year and purchased a gorgeous glass, above the counter sink that we adore but had to go to Lowes for a black toilet. As I said, they don’t have everything.
