Went to this Home Depot today today to buy some BEHR paint and painting supplies. The guy working in the paint section was pretty helpful, got me what I thought I needed, realized when so got home I wasn’t specific enough that I needed paint and primer in one, but he didn’t ask me either. My husband was looking for caulking removal and a sale associate approached us and asked us if we needed any help. We explained to him what we were looking for and he said not to remove the caulking, that it would be too much work, and that we should just cover it with a curtain. He wasn’t very helpful.

This was going to be a two star review. I got everything I needed, and someone even asked me if I needed help, so that was nice. But then I needed a sheet of OSB, and they had that aisle shut down for 15 to 20 minutes, because the kid on the forklift didn’t know what he was doing. When I got to the register, she asked me if I found everything okay and I grumbled about the wait time. So she took 10% off my entire order! That was awesome! Then she asked me if I needed help loading, and I said that would be nice, and she said there was a kid outside who would help. But there wasn’t. I got it loaded by myself.

Had them install new windows. Was told it would take 3 days, it took 7 and they still had to come back to fix what they screwed up. Their fix required painting which we had to pay for. When asked if Lowes would cover they replied«will have to check with the contractor». still not sure what the contractor has to do with it as we «contracted» with Lowes. One window was never replaced and to date no refund. One damaged screen was ordered and then that one was damaged as well? Yeah right. When the wind blows the windows howl to remind us that Lowes blows as well. They advertise«satisfaction guaranteed“which means nothing as it certainly doesn’t apply in our case. Only reason for 2 star rating is because they did come back and TRY to fix the previous damage.

Quick ans easy access. Not recommended if you do not know what you’re doing and are looking for specific information or help. This is a store, not an encyclopedia… so are the employees. This said, they are far superior to the other home improvement giant located on the other side of 1604.

Not very impressive experiences, but this store does seem to harbor some hidden talents, their attic ladder kits were a «step» above the competition . The hardware department has an offering of some better quality tools that competition does not carry. Paint department, most notably Behr, is a great and reliable product that even many of the untrained«paint baristas» have difficulty fouling up in mixing. Most of my RIGID brand purchases seem to be quality products

Went here last week and the gentleman in the lumber department was rude, not knowledgable, and quoted incorrect prices on wood. When we were unhappy with the pieces of wood we could find, he refused to help us look for better pieces of wood, then stood down the end of the aisle staring at my friend and I while we pulled out more pieces to find a better piece. Thanks for the help! We checked out and voiced our complaint to the lady at the checkout, who seemed uninterested. Going to Lowes next time.
