I had a great experience overall the salon itself is very welcoming and beautiful. I called to schedule an appointment for a haircut and they were able to get me in that week. The lady in the office also explained to me that everyone here is independent and they set their own times and pricing which I had no idea but was good to know! I also got a mani/​pedi scheduled the same day as my haircut. I was grateful they were able to accomodate my request. I couldn’t have been more happy with the results. I am definitely coming back.

I went to get my hair done with Monic, and she did a magnificent job on my hair, I’ve been to other hair salon’s, and never happy about my results, but going with Monic I was feeling like a new me, everyone loves my hair, gotten so many complements.

I had a deep tissue massage tonight with Darryl. By far the best massage I’ve ever had. Not only did he focus on my problem areas, he also made sure to check with me about pressure, pain or discomfort. He made me feel very comfortable and has a great personality. I would highly recommend Darryl at the salon. I will be going back!

If you are an independent stylist looking to make that jump to start your own place, then TreusDell Salon and Spa is it. They have wonderful owners and the management at Helotes is the best I have ever seen. The site manager truly cares and is always there to make sure the facilities are running smoothly.
In addition, the manager also acts as a world class receptionist to all clients coming into the salon to help answer their questions and guide them to the proper studio. There have been times that we have had a client arrive early while we are out to lunch, and she will text us to let us know the client is there. That is top notch service in my book!
Take the time to come visit and see for yourself how great management is as well as how clean and well kept the facilities are.

I would rate NEGATIVE stars but It won’t let me. Isabel Gage gave me the WORST haircut I have ever seen! Before she even started, I made sure to ask her if she had experience with cutting Asian people’s hair because its thicker than most, and it is hard to cut because if not done right it looks choppy and it SHOWS but she assured me that she knows and works with them all of the time.
At the time, my hair was all the way to the bottom of my waist & I had only asked her to cut the dead parts off but she cut off ALL my hair just past my shoulders! She started to work on the layers of one side and before she moved to the other side, I got a glimpse of what it was turning into, & I had to stop her! She cut super short & undefined choppy layers that even my 5 year old noticed! I asked her to stop and LOOK at how she cut my hair and if she thought that it looked okay, because if it looks okay to her then we were BOTH wasting our time because i was NOT going to let her do he same choppy job on the other side of my head! I asked her if she was done with the first side and she said yes and that it DID look okay! I was so upset because it OBVIOUSLY does NOT look okay to me, so I had to get up & leave, saving what’s left of my precious hair.
Reluctantly, I still payed for my services because she did spend about an hr and a half chopping off all my hair, but what irritated me more was that when the receptionist confronted me about the situation, he COMPLETELY disregarded the fact that half of my hair looked like it went through a paper shredder & started telling me that it was MY fault because I «didn’t let her finish»!! I was appalled at him trying to explain how ANYONE would let someone who just cut chops on one side of my hair, do the same thing to the other side to make both sides fkd up! Both Isabel AND the receptionist were WAY out of line & even later sent me an email ranting about how it is all my fault for the bad experience I had.
TRUST me, if I could upload the pics I would and I’m still trying to so that everyone can be warned of such inexperienced and rude, scandalous service.
BOTTOM LINE= Isabel does NOT know how to cut hair OR cater to her customers requests. I will most definitely NEVER RETURN TO TREUSDELL!
