Sometimes we eat here before seeing a movie at the Palladium… This time there were no kids menus and the options are not included in the main menu. It took 20 minutes to find out they didn’t have the beer we ordered and when I got my turkey burger, it was so charred that it literally crumbled when I removed the top bun! The manager came over and told me, «maybe I have bad turkey meat, I am really sorry about that». AREYOUKIDDINGME! Don’t blame it on the cook, blame it on the BADMEAT? Needless to say, we will not be attending this place before movies anymore… For Shame!

Advertised 5.00 appetizers on Mondays, asked waitress and she confirmed some of them are 5.00. Ordered 3 of them, got two asked about the third and she said it would be right out. After we were through eating she brought it and it wasn’t even right. Brought the Check and we were charged full price!!! Husband wouldn’t wait for me to confront her so we got Screwed!!! Took 20 minutes to get a drink from the Bar… This Place Sucks!!!

Great service. Excellent Jack Daniels meals & a BOGO to boot. Sides were well prepared — no problems. We’ll be back.

I don’t know why this place is rated so poor. Out fist time trying it and the food was delicious(my steak was on point) Prices are moderate and service is okay. Thumps up people!

What is the deal with restaurants tonight. Walked in to TGI Fridays with at least 10 tables emptied but not bused. Hostess tells us it’s an hour wait. Walked right out.

There must be a reason why the parking lot is empty on a Friday night in the trendy La Cantera Rim area. I found out the hard way. The two hosts that greeted us at the entrance appeared dressed for a costume party of some sort but hey… just my observation and had nothing to do with the food or service. Uniform perhaps? If so, I feel bad for the staff to have to wear it. The restaurant was pretty empty! Despite it being 6:30 pm on a Friday night. I completely missed the cues on Unilocal and common sense. Quick trip to the bathroom before sitting was another sign that this place just isn’t cared for. Trash on the floor, empty toilet rolls and wet floors and counters. The dining room was untidy as we’ll with crumbs and paper all over the floor. No crowd yet — there were probably only ten patrons in the restaurant including my party of six. TGIF food is nothing to Unilocal grandly about — it’s mediocre and yea we came here only because we were hungry and didn’t want to wait at Maggianos, and BJs. Note to self — wait next time. Food was terrible!!! How can you mess up dumplings? Dry and uncooked on one side and barely steamed/fried on the other two sides. Fully loaded baked potato skins were sketchy at best with the driest cheese and fake bacon on top. It was just so wrong and one bite indicated something was«off.» We didn’t bother ordering entrees since the apps were so terrible. Service was equally terrible. An empty restaurant would imply quick and friendly service but that’s not what we got. Had me thinking, «did they forget about us?» Long wait for terrible food. I now know why the parking lot was empty. Lesson learned.

I know tea, and that was not any kind of tea I’ve ever had. Steak not well. Not that great. Trying somewhere else tomorrow night.

I haven’t been to TGI Fridays in a long time, but had a craving for the Pecan Chicken salad. My order was to-go. It was very disappointing, not the nice crisp and crunchy chicken salad I remembered. The lunch portion was $ 10 and quite small. The salad filled the carton about ½ way and included ½ a chicken breast. The field greens were wilted and contained too much celery, no blue cheese, and no pecans. The service was quick, and ready to go as soon as I arrived to pick up the order.

I have given this place a chance a few times and every visit has been so SLOW. The service is just inexcusably slow for the food to not be good at all. There is a nice older man that works there who must be a manager but he is about the only friendly one there. The hostess just stared at me when I asked for a booth instead of a table and proceeded to tell me their server policy and blah blah blah. This place is just not worth the trouble for microwaved food.

At Friday’s with my vegetarian daughter. Out of black bean burgers, how hard can this be? Just make an effort to make people want to eat here. Update. Finally got my salad 30 minutes after I ordered, and ribs another 20 minutes later. Mediocre at best. I won’t be coming back.

Terrible. Went here on a date with my husband the right before I had a scheduled c-section, and it was horrible. Macarone tasted like dirty rag water.

Food was so so, moderately overpriced for the quality of food. The top shelf long island was watered down, but our server was very attentive. The loaded mash potato were bland, but the garlic mash is the best I’ve had. If I didn’t have a free appetizer from the last visit which was horrible I probably would not have come. I have one free appetizer left, so I’ll be back, but I won’t order anything else. My fiancé said that the shrimp was too salty to eat and she hardly touched her food. Sadly I still have to go get her something to eat :(.

It’s Sunday a car show has been advertised for about a month. This car event happens every month. We get here and they are obviously short staffed. The host is cleaning the tables instead of seating people. I’m surprised the manager didn’t start calling people in as soon as he saw vendors setting up. Clearly there was something going on.

Service was quick and good. Steak was cooked ok-half the way I asked for and half a little over cooked. The waitress was performing hostess and waitress duties for the first half-hour. She was a little overworked. At first I was told I could not get decaf coffee because they were lacking a nozzle. Then I ended up with decaf coffee because they switched the nozzle out.?? There were about a dozen customers in the restaurant at 11AM. There was nothing fancy about the place but it was okay food and good service.

Let me preface this by saying that 2 stars is extremely generous for this place, and the only reason we got this is because, though the experience was kinda crappy, the staff was very nice… First off, we got there on a Thursday night and it’s pretty dead. The hostess greets us with a smile as we walk in and asks if we want a table or if we want to sit in the bar. We opt for the bar so we pick our own seat. Half the tables in there were empty, yet they were dirty, making it difficult to find a table in the bar. We finally found a «clean» one and were greeted by our server fairly quickly. I asked for a tea and my friend asked for a mixed drink. My drink came out pretty quick and he took our order and we just ordered an appetizer first(buffalo boneless wings) and then about 15 minutes goes by when my friend FINALLY get’s his mixed drink, which was very good I am told. He then takes our food order(again 15 minutes after we ordered the apps) and then waited for 25 minutes on our meal, which we got BEFORE our appetizers. We asked the food runner if we were getting our appetizer and he said he’d go back and check on it. They also forgot to fry my shrimp, so I got my half of my plate until about 5 minutes later. After they brought my shrimp, they brought our appetizer… all this about an hour after we walked in the place… Now for the food… when the apps finally did come out, they were clearly deep fried boneless wings drowned in buffalo sauce. I’m okay with this as this is how they are made anywhere else, but they were awfully cold to have been in the deep fryer for 40 minutes(I know they weren’t…they just forgot about them). I ordered ribs and shrimp and while the shrimp was good… it was just deep fried and nothing special. No complaints there, but the ribs were just awful. They were so dry it was like eating jerky and there was VERY little meat on them… my friend ordered a ribeye, and he swore they served him top sirloin, but he said it tasted great nonetheless. Overall, the service was extremely slow, which seems to be the case with every Friday’s, and the food was extremely disappointing…

We were there today for lunch at 11:10. My family of 4 was one of only 4 tables occupied. It took 35 minutes to get our meals & we never got one of our meals. We had to leave before they brought it out. We were trying to make it to a movie & thought we would have plenty of time. The food was good, but took way too long. Our server was friendly, but disappeared after she took our order. I was wondering why it was so dead on a Saturday in a busy shopping area. Now, I know.

The most horrible service and food. They brought my 13 yo son that looks 13 his drink out in a kiddie cup. After 15 mins of his drink sitting empty and the waitress walking by numerous times I finally went to the waitress area and ask for a refill in an adult sized cup. We all ordered appetizers. It took 20 mins for our apps to come out. I had bonesless chicken wings. They were cold. When they brought our food my husbands potato skins were not ready. He waited another 10 mins. 30 mins for an appetizer order of five potato skins. We have lived here for years. We came in when this restaurant first opened. It was a bit better but not much. It’s been years since we’ve been in here. Now I remember why. Horrible food and service.

Food/Taste: D The burger was okay. It was abnormally small, the buns were noticeably(both in vision and taste) burnt and the fires tasted like they were pre-made from a previous order that someone didn’t want and sat under a heat lamp for too long. They were lukewarm, had crispy edges but the middle of the fries were noticeably soggy. Order Accuracy: A Everything came out correctly as ordered. Selection: A The menu at Fridays pretty much changes every 3 months as they introduce new dishes and promotions and it was a pretty lengthy book(the menu), but in my standards this is a good thing because it translates into a good selection. Service: F I’ve been to this location plenty of times in the past and we usually sit at the bar and get help from Roger. Today, we were seated in the main dining room and our waitress was [redacted]. Our dining experience started with us being seated for over 15 minutes with no acknowledgment from anyone. It was’t until my friend got up and went over to the hostess stand and complained that we have yet to even have drink orders taken. I worked in restaurants for over 6 years and as a host, when this happens, the LEAST you can do to try to salvage the customer experience is get the drink orders going and the hostess failed to do this. Instead she went to go find someone to pickup our table which resulted in a further delay while they fought over who’s table it was. When the food arrived I wanted an extra side of sauce yet the waitress did not come back around until I had two bites of my meal left so I simply just forwent that. We were there for over 2 hours(it was a business luncheon) and our waitress probably visited the table 4 – 5 times which is really poor for that time span. Price: F It seems like TGI Fridays is going thru a transition where they are trying to position themselves as more of an upscale diner. This can be seen in the change from cheap laminate menus to nicer«book» menus, the new serving dishes being a more modern square kind, versus the old round plates and the higher prices: for two people with 2 drinks each the meals averaged $ 33/each(pre-tip) for burgers. I’ve also noticed that on weekends Friday’s has extended their hours(probably in a push to become a more popular destination seeing as many of the restaurants around them — i.e. Stonewerks, Hofbrau and some of the other restaurants around the Rim have extended hours as well).

We went to TGIF on Friday and it was really sad !!! No one was their from 5 to 6 pm besides us they had 2 other people in the place, I think the problem Is that there menu is really tired and out dated !! They tried to spice it up with the whole jack Daniel thing but that is a real sad choice as it is just the old menue slopped with crappy Bbq sauce on it, the place next door was really hoppin with Friday night fun, last time I will go here

I am not sure why this place is rated so poor. My daughter picked here for her birthday dinner. So we took her and her boyfriend. First, let me say that our waitress was very very good. She answered all the usual questions, made suggestions on what was really good that night, and kept our drinks from ever getting low. We had everything from burgers to steaks and everybody enjoyed what they had. Then we had cheesecake to finish the meal. Great birthday dinner & we will definitely go back.
