It’s hard to find old school Mexican food but this place has it down. My husband & I have been coming here for the past 14 yrs & before he would come with mom & his sister. They have the best salsa! There tacos are delicious from their carne guisada w/​cheese to their beef puffy tacos down to a good old bean cheese taco. Can’t find puffy tacos likes theirs anywhere else in San Antonio. Let’s just say if the food wasn’t any good we wouldn’t take a 45 minute drive to go eat there.
If you are in the area stop in & have a bite. It’s not all fancy inside it’s what it should be-​comfortable. Good service, good people, good coffee & GREAT food.

Classic old style tex-​mex. Its been there forever and nobody makes a puffy taco like they do. Great food but don’t let the building scare you.
