Awesome pizza and more! There were 7 of us so we ordered and shared several different items and they were all delish! The crust on the pizza is amazing! For appetizers we had the brussel sprouts which was very yummy, and the caprese which needed some vinegar, but with everything else being SO good, I’m not complaining! We will be back!!!

We have been to Stella’s many times, but I just found out they also have brunch!!! As usual, it was a great meal with amazing service. Josh was our water today and he was very attentive and helped us decide on our meals and mimosas. We had the mimosa flight to share(4 different mimosas). For eats my friend had the Heirloom & Crab Tower, an egg, and the Stuffed French Toast. I had the Egg Panini with the fresh fruit cup. Everything was fresh and delicious. Perfect Sunday brunch!!!

My brother recommended Stella’s. I always take his advice with places downtown, due to him being a local to the downtown neighborhood. It’s small and trendy. It’s clean and attractive. It’s definitely a place to have a romantic, new date night or a fun hang out spot with friends. The service is casual and one paced. Friendly but a bit on the slower side. If you are in a hurry, I don’t recommend it. But I loved taking my time and was enjoying my company of my family. I recommend the lamb meatballs or Caprese Salad. They both have plenty of seasoning. There’s no need to grab your salt or pepper! We ordered the spicy sausage pizza! We added pepperoni to it! Very flavorful! It’s the perfect size for 2 to 3 people. Each pizza runs around $ 14-$ 16. If anyone is in the area and has a craving for pizza– this is a great place to try!

Another fiver for SATX. Really enjoying my neighborhood so far food and drink-wise. Today stopped by Stella for lunch and am so happy to have a GOOD pizza place around the corner from me. Cherry on top is that it’s brick oven. And coming from New Haven, CT… The home of the best brick oven pizza anywhere… It says a lot about Stella that I enjoyed it so much. The vibe is so cool inside. Love the exposed brick wall and wood ceilings. Super clean and plenty of seating. We chose to sit at the bar and this was a great decision because our bartender Victoria was excellent. I love that many people in SA and TX in general are willing to stop and have a full conversation with you about places to eat, hang out. The weather, whatever. Makes you feel welcome as a newcomer. Onto the pizza. AMAZING. We ordered the lunch special which gets you a nice house salad with homemade croutons and an excellent maple vinegarette and a personal size pizza for $ 10. Can’t beat it. I ordered the proscuitto, cherry tomatoe and burrata pizza… The cheese was so creamy and there was just enough meat, nothing too crazy. Two of the chefs were making fresh mozz right in front of us, so you know this place cares about freshness. My mother had the glazed pear and proscuitto pizza which was equally as excellent. No beer for us this time but they definitely had a nice draft selection, plenty of bottles and cans, and even a large format bottle selection. Overall I really loved this place. It’s in a great location(right in the blue star complex on the river) and the food was incredible. Will be back… Probably on a weekly basis. So psyched! Good pizza in Texas. Would would have thought?

The BEST pizza in San Antonio. I have had a lot of San Antonio pizza, this is by far the best. Mozzarella cheese is homemade; everything is super fresh. The atmosphere is noisy when full, however, the food overrules the noise. I recommend this place to any pizza connoisseur. Beer was alright, didn’t have a lot of selection of wheat beer, which I enjoy. I ended up getting the Hoprita. Tastes like a margarita but with some beer added in. Pretty tasty.

Best Pizza in San Antonio! I really love the Margherita… it reminds me a lot the pizza from Italy… also the appetizer are good… try the Mac ‘n’ chz, the bruschetta with tuna and the country oven bread! our waiter is always the same, Ernie, just because we are asking for him… He is the best, always attentive and friendly… I will recommend Stella to everyone! Now I need Pizza Napoli… I will ask for it next time!

Yum!!! I’ve had this restaurant on my to-try list for a long time and I’m so glad we came! I went here for dinner tonight with my boyfriend. We arrived shortly before 7pm and found seats at the bar easily. The bartenders were friendly and offered recommendations for us. We started with the Brussels sprout appetizer(delicious!!), and then my boyfriend ordered the Southtown Pepperoni pizza with a farm egg on top(he says this is good for spicy fans since the pepperoni has jalapenos and the tomato sauce is spicy too). I ordered the Bee Sting pizza, which has soppresseta, caramelized onions, a drizzle of honey and cilantro. It also has serrano peppers(I totally thought it was serrano ham … ha! I was surprised). The pizza was actually quite tasty besides it being a bit spicy for me. I’ll definitely come back to try other pizzas. This might just be my new favorite pizza place in town! Thanks, Stella!

This place is great for a low key lunch/dinner. The pizza is tasty and they have some amazing appetizers(we love the Brussels sprouts appetizer). In terms of the pizza, we’ve had the one with prosciutto on it and it was fantastic. Last time we went we tried the Italian sausage pizza which was equally tasty. We finished off with the budino desert, which was nice. This is a great place and its very reasonably priced, it also offers a wide array of beers!

The pizza is very good from here! I ate here the other day and will be going back again to try another pizza. Me and my boyfriend had the Pepperoni and pulled pork pizza. Very delicious. Next time we come back we will be trying some of the smaller plates as well. But I will need to go back for pizza! You should really give it a try(:

Stella’s has a good selection of beers on tap! They’re a little on the pricy side, but that’s to be expected at this type of dining establishment Wild Mushrooms Mac & Cheese(5⁄5): I’m not even suppose to eat cheesy things, but I had to try this because it sounded so amazing! Boy, I was not disappointed! The cheese was so creamy and the mushrooms were a perfect complement to the dish! If I had known it was so good, I would have ordered more than one! Lamb Meatballs(3⁄5): The meatballs were good, but they tasted like normal meatballs! I was disappointed because lamb has such a distinct taste, but I couldn’t taste it at all. It almost felt like the lamb was mixed in with another type of meat… Prosciutto & Arugula(5⁄5): The pizza here is dank affff! It’s reasonably sized too! My friend and I split one and I was so full. They are not stingy with the prosciutto either! I liked how it was thinly sliced and the arugula was just the perfect amount of freshness to accompany the fatty meat.

I absolutely love that Stella is dog friendly. The server was nice to him and brought a water bowl. I liked the place already without even ordering. I got the beet tower and fell in love with it. It had layers of red and golden beets with a ricotta cheese/pistachio mixture — yummm. The margherita pizza is also really good even though I burned my mouth on it(my fault, I was super hungry). Those beets though! If you’re a vegetarian this is a good option :)

We went in for lunch, and the lunch specials are pretty good price-wise. I felt like the service was a little on the slow side to refill water/etc., and my pizza was brought out after my friends’ due to the oven being full. But the ambiance, the food, and the overall experience was great! I was craving something basic, so I had the Margherita pizza and added mushrooms. They nailed it. If you can nail a great Margherita pizza, then you can nail any pizza, IMO. My coworkers were more adventurous in their choices and they were greatly rewarded with some incredible flavor combos. I also recommend their Brussels Sprouts, which is basically unheard of from this veggie-phobe, but I tried them at the insistence of my peers and was impressed! I wouldn’t hesitate to come back again and again for a solidly good pie.

Came here on a Thursday night, and sat at the bar. Service was very good, and you see them making the pizzas. We had the lamb meatballs, and my husband loved them. The sauce is very Rich! We also prosciutto and arugula pizza, and it was amazing. It ti fed us to pizza we are in Rome. That and a couple of craft beers from the variety they feature. Boom! The next day we brought family and we had the Magherita, and the Pepperoni and Pulled Pork pizzas. Wow!

Great place to hit up after a date night at the 1919 right around the corner. The atmosphere is pretty cool and the pizza kicks arse! We shared the pepperoni and pulled pork pizza. It had some spice to it but was not overwhelming — the hand made crust was thin style and crispy. Try it out — you’ll like it! If you don’t, I’ll give you your money back. You just have to find me first. ;-)

I came here for Saturday brunch, and loved that the classic mimosas are $ 1 when you order any specialty brunch item. I had the Nutella pancakes which come with a generous amount of Nutella and 2 decent sized pancakes. Their stuffed french toast(I don’t know what it was stuffed with) was smaller than the pancakes.

Good, but not amazing. I thought the food here on my first visit was better than my on my second visit. I imagine it’s because I had just got my wisdom teeth out and my meal at Stella’s was my first semi-solid meal for a few days. The fiancé and I came during happy hour and it was convenient because it was near South Alamode Gelato which was the real reason we came down to Southtown. We ordered the pea risotto and truffle mac and cheese. I thought both were like a 4⁄5 at the time and my fiancé really liked the truffle mac and cheese. It was great we got a couple dollars off during happy hour, but the portions would’ve been kind of small if I had my normal appetite prior to my wisdom teeth surgery. On the second visit, I came here with some friends and the fiancé again before heading to go get gelato. We ordered the pea risotto and truffle mac and cheese again. It was first Friday I think and so the whole area was pretty busy along with Stella’s. I felt like both dishes weren’t as good as the first time I had it and were kind of sloppily made. The mac and cheese and risotto both seemed a little undercooked. The portions look even smaller when you are paying full price which is about $ 8. We also ordered the spicy italian sausage pizza for $ 15, which is a little pricey. The pizza was pretty spicy and one of the better quality pizzas I’ve had in San Antonio, but it’s still pizza. It didn’t rock my world or anything. Overall, Stella’s is your typical American pub type of restaurant, with typical sort of brewery/pub food. It’s not too unique or special. I wouldn’t mind coming here every once in a while, to chill out with some friends on Stella’s nice open air patio, but most likely I’ll just go for a pizza next time.

Had their Spicy Italian Fennel Sausage, damn good! Perfect amount of flavorful toppings, the dough was certitude crispy how I like it. You can get an egg on it was well, which is awesome. The wild mushroom mac and cheese was great, big enough for 1 – 2 people. Definitely recommend.

I love this place! The only reason I’m not giving it 5 stars is because our service wasn’t the best. But I’m sure that can change with our next visit. They have an awesome selection of beers on draft and some innovative beer cocktail offerings. The wine list is not the greatest, but there are still some decent wines for you wine lovers! The main food they have to offer are pizzas, but don’t ignore the small plates or salads! The wild mushroom Mac & Cheese is amazing! A must try! For dessert try the Panna Cotta! Everything here is delicious, we will definitely be back!

I’m a big fan of this place. I wish it was more friendly to working with laptops though. They have a great selection of beer on tap, including local options. For food, I’ve had their pizza– the pepperoni and pulled pork pizza, and the pepperoni with chipotle sauce. I’ve had them without an egg and I’ve had each with an egg. Either way, very good. The pizza is brick oven. This will be a San Antonio regular for me.
