Silver Oak Apartments

I love my place. My pit bull is a service dog and they love her and respect her. I may have to wait a little long for things to get fixed but so far I have not run until any major issues. I rarely ever hear my neighbors, everyone is friendly, and living on my own I feel completely safe. For the price, this place is wonderful. Coming from Colorado, it is definitely more upscale! lol

Easily one of the more affordable apartment complexes in the San Antonio area that boasts four swimming pools, multiple fitness centers, and courts for basketball, tennis, and volleyball.
That being said, it is not at all worth it. The management of this property seems to wholeheartedly believe that you get what you pay for and take no pride or responsibility in their «managing» of this property.
Numerous residents that I’ve spoken to at length all report that the leasing office, when it is actually unlocked, is full of people who will literally laugh in your face when you bring issues to their attention, and will seldom put in the work orders needed to make repairs.
Debris litters much of the complex and the landscapers and groundskeeper make zero effort to keep parking spots, lanes, grassy areas, and even roofs cleared and safe. This has resulted in property damage to residents’ vehicles, and has even injured pets, including service animals, all of which the management claims no responsibility for.
Despite incentivizing referrals with cash for residents, I personally could never recommend this place to anybody I actually care about. It’s so bad I’m even adamant about keeping innocent strangers safe from this place, and I’m counting the days until I’m free from this lease.
The only reason I give it two stars is for the low price.
