The chorizo con papas and Horchata were so good. The tortillas are definitely made from scratch and the food had that fresh, home-cooked taste to it. The Horchata was creamy and milky and just perfect. The people were so nice and accommodating. I highly recommend coming here for breakfast or lunch.

Living in Mexico and now living here I can honestly say that this little restaurant does have a genuine authentic Mexican taste to it. The Food is always cooked fresh. Don’t miss out on their mulita or tostada. I generally order the asada for the meat. And it is delish.

Me and my family stopped in when in San Antonio for my sister’s graduation from basic training. The reviews on Unilocal did not lie! This place was SUPER yummy & the price was good. The service was also really quick. You can for sure tell this is a local spot; it is really a must when visiting San Antonio! I recommend the Al Pastor with the green sauce. Very yummy!!!

Strangest«barbacoa» ever! Meat was cubed and heavily seasoned very untraditionally. I returned the barbacoa and asked for a bean and cheese… how can you go wrong? Strangest bean & cheese too. Idk, a lady next to me ordered somethin called a «Mulita» that looked way better, so maybe I’ll try that one day when my taste buds recover from the«barbacoa».

The food was good, food had plenty of flavor. We had the daily special, which included three mini tacos, of our choice, rice and beans for $ 6.49 and a small bowl of pozole, @ $ 4.99. Price for the flavor was more than satisfactory, we would eat here again.

These guys are from LA. Try the carne asada burrito! They are the classic LA style with just meat, rice and beans, and chili! They are awesome!

This place is awesome. The tacos are hot and fresh, tortillas are amazing, salsa is kept cold and has great flavor!

You will find no better Mexican food! Pozole is incredible and served every day, not just weekends. I am a fan of the sopes and mulitas but there is no bad choice on the menu!

This place is amazing! Traditional Mexican food at its best. Don’t let the strip mall exterior fool you, this place has really good food at a really good price. Try the jalapeño sauce, it’s amazing on everything! I had the three mini tacos with beans and rice. Pork, steak, and chicken tacos, all were great! The pork was cooked perfectly, the steak was tender, and the chicken was all white meat.

They have a simple menu. This place has the feel of a traditional taco shop. The tortilla was perfect. Great flavors and texture. Free pickled Jalapeños and carrots Five stars for being a simple little taco and burrito shop.

Decent little joint for comfort Mexican lunch. Prices are reasonable; salsas are all homemade. Both the tortas and the tostadas are spot on and big. Service tends to slow down quickly as it starts to get crowded so come in early.

Had a Huarache de Al Pastor — very generous portion and tasty! I wish their horchata was freshly made not generic mix. Place was packed when i visited(sunday afternoon) so it was a good sign as a first time visitor. :)

I’ve tried almost nothing but burritos here, but man, the burritos are a good enough reason to go. They’re absolutely HUGE — I can usually demolish a burrito no problem but these ones give me pause halfway through. I’ve tried lengua, carnitas, asada, and cabeza, and by FAR the cabeza is the star. All the burritos were good but none live up to the cabeza! Service is friendly and fast. It’s a simple place so I usually carryout, but it’s frequently full of families so it’s a nice casual atmosphere. The pozole is also excellent but seriously, get a burrito. A cabeza burrito with lime and salsa. Do it.

Got the 3 street taco lunch special with beans, rice and a small drink for $ 7 after tax. I chose steak, al pastor and chicken. Everything was delicious and worth the price. This review is more of a 4.5, and would be a 5 star if there was more meat in the tacos. Both green and red sauces were tasty too. I will be back to try more.
