There may be some communication barriers with this place and a cultural thing«what you say what you get» attitude. Their original doughnut is something else rather than what the main stream doughnut places have and one must be specific specially that it isn’t in the menu specified. Server is kinda borderline«I don’t care you pay» stereotype rude or that’s just the way she is; although it feels like a pattern. Yet it’s all just about a doughnut no big deal right? Ain’t about the service sort of category. Your experience is the prime director. Me, so so. I’ll drop by routinely since it’s the only one en route to work.

Pretty good, pretty good. After living in Texas for awhile, I never had the opportunity to try Shipley’s, and alas – it was finally my chance. Pretty fluffy, tasty, hit the spot. Duly noted about the other reviews to come when the pastries are freshly baked…

It was alright. Good for a quick morning bite. There is no real magic happening here. Not much of a selection either. The person behind the counter look as if they would rather be somewhere else as well. I give it a meh three stars. Only went there to try something different from our hotel food.

Shipley’s actually has a decent selection for a small donut shop. Lots of filled donuts(bavarian, cherry, blueberry, apple) and both traditional and cake donuts as well. they even have a menu up top from which you can order, so that’s a plus. Shipley’s is a good stop-by option to hold you over in between meals or to grab a quick donut and coffee in the morning. I did enjoy my blueberry filled donut — could have been a little light on the filling but enjoyable with my coffee nonetheless!

You probably have to walk there unless you willing to pay for parking for the duration of your visit which is a few minutes or how ever long it takes you to decide what you want. As far as the taste well it is Shipley Donuts and you know they are good tasting Need to get there early though if not you will miss out on the freshly baked pastries. Small lil shop but full of flavor

We love the Shipley’s near our house in Fort Worth. We were happy to find one so near our riverwalk hotel. This place does *NOT* hold up to Shipley’s standard. The frosted donuts has the tiniest smear of frosting. The selection was very limited and the donuts were tough and stale. I got the distinct impression that our Sunday morning donuts have been sitting since at least Saturday morning. Blech.

DELICIOUS! Go early. By the time I got there around 9am they were out of kolaches and some of the donuts! The dozen I bought for friends at home also lasted pretty well in my carry-on! They weren’t as fresh, but a few seconds in the microwave(as recommended by the woman at the front counter) was a great idea!

Wonderful doughnuts and kolaches! Very, very sweet lady that runs this location! You can call ahead and she will have your order waiting for you.
