Out for dinner on the Riverwalk and my friend says«I’m sick of Mexican food, let’s have Italian». so we head to Paesano’s. I didn’t have high hopes because I figured it was a touristy-type place(let’s just forget for a second the fact that I was a tourist!) but I figured it couldn’t be that bad. Well, I have to say, I liked it! First, the service was awesome. Levi was our waiter and he was great.(Did wonder if they had waiters named Jordache or Wrangler, but was afraid to ask). I had the chicken parm and it was really good. Wasn’t all fried and smothered in cheese like you get at some places. It was very well prepared and had just the right amount of sauce and cheese. The bread was great too and I liked my pasta as well. Only slight drawback was a limited beer list, but you’ll have that at Italian places. For some reason they prefer to drink wine. Wine over beer? I don’t see how you could consider yourself civilized if that was how you prioritized your alcohol but that is a topic for another time. So, point here is, I liked this place and I would probably go back. Good food, nice service, great location, who can ask for more?
