I recently went to Sears to purchase a mattress and had quite a pleasant experience. The sales reps i dealt with were friendly and helpful. I purchased a queen-sized Serta and because it was over $ 599 I received free delivery and 12 months interest free. The whole buying process was very hassle free. And it only took one week from the order date for me to receive my mattress. Once my mattress was on it’s way the movers called me to verify and were very polite while installing my mattress. If you need any furniture or appliances I definitely recommend checking this store out.

This review is for the Sears parts and repair store at the corner of San Pedro and Rector, next to the Sears Auto repair shop. I only go here 2 – 3 times a year, but this is a store I depend on when I need parts to fix my lawn mower, dryer, ice maker, etc. You will need a model number, but they will have your part or order it for you. I have never waited more than five or ten minutes for help here.

Wife called sear to send tech out to give estimate to fix TV. The guy that showed was all talk no action. Said the part needed was no longer made and TV could not be repaired. The next day I called another local repairman and he came out and had it fixed in 2o min. When I called sears to to lodge a compliant, the customer center said no refunds and hung up me. Sear, never again no way!

Man I’ve always loved Sears, ever since I was a little kid. Tools and gadgets galore!!! So this review is mainly directed at their buy online and pickup in store, I had never done it before, but let me tell you it is AWESOME! I bought a set of bits online, got a text and an email about an hour later telling me it was ready to pickup in the store. I walked in the side door, punched my order number in the computer, a minute later a friendly guy walks out called my name and boom, the deal was done! I didn’t have to go wander around, deal with screaming children, or wait in the cashier line. This is perfection for the person who needs a tool real quick and just needs to get in and out! Thank you Sears! Ohh and it says you will get your order once you enter it in the pickup computer in 5 minutes or less or you get $ 5 gift card!

I went shopping quickly and they have a lot of Sales items. If I had more time, I would have spent time and money.

DEPLORABLECUSTOMERSERVICE. I really hate to say how badly I felt leaving the store today, considering Sears sells quality products and I can’t seem to fathom the possibility that they as a business are suffering so greatly and places like Wal-Mart are thriving.(Both could have a contest for who has the worst customer service.) Why is it that the store is always desolate and the employees scatter like roaches to avoid greeting/assisting you? Seems like they would appreciate the chance to save their next paycheck. So here’s what happened today: I had to locate an associate to ask about whether or not they carry ice cube trays(how could they not?), then followed them down the same aisles I just looked on, for her to say, «I guess not.» Okay fine. I then I ask if they can check about a specific model of coffeemaker I had seen on their website but not in store, to see if they had it at a different location. She mumbles some incomprehensible things and leaves and we stand there like a couple of jackasses until she waves us over to another computer away from the desk. She says we can order it and have it shipped to our home for free. Cool, let’s do that! So she types in our information after we repeat every bit of it several times because she seems to be unable to actually listen to the words we say. She asks for the item number several times, asks several times what we are looking for(We had to say coffeemaker 2 – 3 times, even though moments later she’s looking for the carafe only) then she can’t seem to figure out how to get the shipping for free. So we stand there for awhile in silence until she goes and gets a supervisor. He lumbers over, never greets us, then clicks the wrong button and we have to put in our info again. At this point I feel utterly annoyed and unappreciated, since neither of these associates can barely form a sentence AT me. Apparently Sears no longer trains their employees on their computer system, the stock they carry, and most importantly customer service. I wouldn’t have minded one bit if they had trouble with the computer if they showed one iota of customer service. I told then it wasn’t worth all this for a $ 20 coffeemaker and I would look elsewhere and I left. It seems like my business would be a little more appreciated since I’m always one of three total customers in there. WRONG!

Is this the oldest Sears in town? When they tore down Central Park Mall, Sears still stood. Everything around Sears is brand new. It’s really weird walking into this location. But, this time I had done my homework and knew I wanted to purchase a Kenmore dishwasher. Usually the appliance sales staff are ready to pounce on you as soon as they see you looking at all the choices. Not today. So, I finally get some help and the associate muddles through the sales process. I would have walked away if not for the time-sensitive rebate program Texas started on the 20th of December. I asked the associate if they could deliver the new appliance and take my old one for recycling. He told me they just throw them away and wouldn’t sign that they were recycling it. After I pick up my new dishwasher and attempt to install it I find it doesn’t come with a $ 3 hose elbow. Thanks so much Sears. Now I remember why I’m not a regular customer.
