Where do I begin. I walked in around 10PM with a group of friends and we were the only ones there, besides some people involved in some kind of partially nude photo shoot… classy. Being there alone was actually kind of nice because we could request music and hear each other talk. However, 11PM rolled around and the staff literally took our stools away from us at the bar because they wanted a «clubbing» atmosphere. Second, a stripper got up on the bar with knee high fur boots and started dancing. Third, the music started bumping because the owner(a huge tool with a graphic tee and enough hair gel to supply a greased pig competition) didn’t like us listening to the Rolling Stones. Again, may I remind you, we were the only ones there. So I would tell everyone to avoid this place like the plague, unless of course you like to wear shirts that are three sizes too small and tweeze your eye brows.

San Antonio’s newest nightspot is Rush. They have everything– metal beaded curtains, $ 4 domestics, a dj, and of course snooty bouncers– these are bouncers that selectively enforce the dress code, and try to create a line outside the door to make it look busy. The clientele graffitis the neighborhood, and is mostly into the booty-shakin’ club music. It’s the old Posh nightclub, but with a new name.
