Just finished eating here. First, it was not busy. .a couple of tables and us-my husband and my son. I wasn’t brave enough to order the Istanbul or Hamburg or those odd ones, etc so we stuck to pepperoni and sausage. I went ahead and ordered the kebab roll. Wow, warning: the roll is like 2FEET long! haha it was huge! Pizza was on small side, decent, nice thin crust. It was hot and fresh, but for me the kebab roll stole the show. I asked for it with no onions. It consisted of the meat, lettuce, cucumbers and a tasty sauce. My 10 year old LOVED it. Gosh it was good. Mmmmmm. So for the pizza, roll, and 2 cans of soda it came out to about $ 22. My hubby brought in his beer. Seems they do more carry out than dine in. But anyway, I would definitely try it again.

I’m not even sure where to start. False. The Kebab Roll. That is where is starts and ends. This is by far the best kebab I’ve had in the States. And if the fryer is up, definitely grab some fries with it. As far as their pizza, they have some unique toppings and pairings. The owner is from Sweden and the pizza reflects it. Thinner style with a crunchy crust. Great flavor. Haven’t had one I didn’t enjoy yet. They also started delivering as well. They also have some incredible lunch specials which I haven’t been able to take advantage of yet. BYOB! They supply glasses for you, if needed. Super friendly staff. Will be back time and time again.

The pizza was quite quite tasty. In fact, after having a recent operation(and fasting) my gf says«where do you want to get food from» while driving home from the hospital. I chose Royal Pizza. Why only three stars you say? Mostly because their pizzas run to the small size. So you get a better pizza in a thin crust sort of way, but it is sized about the size of a medium domino’s pizza for more than a large domino’s price. So great thin crust pizza, with a gazillion toppings to choose from(Seriously, who ever heard of a «banana, pineappple, curry pepper & ham» pizza?). But the value takes a hit. If I was rich, I’d give it 4 stars.

One of those small, low-key, mom-and-pop shops you need to know about if you wanna be a cool local. Royal pizza is authentic Swedish, thin-crust pizza. They’ve got 75 different pizzas, with unique ingredients like kebab meat and filet of pork! The inside décor has huge images of the homeland, Sweden and gives that 80’s teen Friday night hangout spot. Lunch special is 4 huge slices(1-topping, approx. 10″ pizza) plus a soda can for $ 3.99! Can’t beat that! Sammy is the manager and master chef there and is very nice and friendly!

Got some take out from here the other night, was expecting a lot, heard a lot of good hype about this place, tried 3 different pizzas, pepperoni and mushroom, supreme, and meat lovers, was completely let down, for thin and crispy pizza, 2 pizzas soggy, not a lot of flavor, needed some red chili peeper flakes to help out, maybe bad night, will try again, but feel let down

I just got my pizza. I ordered the meat lovers. It was good. Ingredients tasted fresh, crust is thin but glad it’s thin so you’re not full on bread. One of the other reviews said the 1 was big enough for 2 people… I love, LOVE pizza so I ate it all but 2 slices on my own lol it is a medium sized pizza. I will definitely be ordering again and thank you for feeding me on 4th of july.

decent pizza at a reasonable price. The extra Mediterranean toppings are pretty unique as well. Would return

The pizza is really good. Just the place is dirty. Restroom smell fresh but toilet is dirty. The need to do a deep cleaning. Other than that yummy.

I was looking for a pizza place on my way home and found this place. I had no idea it sold KEBABPIZZA. It was so good with the white sauce. A 12−14″ pizza was around 12 dollars. Worth it.

This is an excellent local family-owned pizza place! We’ve never eaten in restaurant and only have picked up. So many different options. We’ve tried and loved: Stuttgart(ham & pineapple), Frankfurt(jalapeño & pepperoni), Alanya(shrimp & olives), both the Swedish & Italian Margheritas, one of the pizzas with filet of steak, Supreme, as well as the Kebab plate. The crust isn’t paper thin but reasonably thin and crispy. The only thing I will say was with the Supreme– it was too many toppings so the crust didn’t get as cooked through in the center. So beware of too many toppings! If you’re super über hungry, you could down a whole pizza by yourself. But one pizza is enough to finish between two people. Service is always very friendly. Definitely try out this very unique pizza place!

Just a great family pizza shop. We had the Spurs Pizza and it was just perfect. Light and crispy crust, tasty sauce, not too heavy on the cheese. And man, the Kebab meat was perfectly seasoned and cooked. Also, kebab sauce was not too over powering — a great accompaniment to a great pizza. Also had a kebab sandwich — so much meat! Service was quick and friendly. Awesome value. We live in the area and are kicking ourselves for not stopping in before! Will definitely be back.

I heard about the Porto pizza, and I thought I’d be adventurous. I mean, what else is life about but to be adventurous when one eats out? Sadly, I was let down by my choice. The flavors didn’t work for me. Bananas, peanuts, and curry… maybe it’s just too much for one crust. My husband ordered some sort of breakfast-y option, and he was disappointed with his as well. Maybe we just ordered the wrong thing? Maybe one day we’ll make it back here… but…maybe not.

Great pizza for the price. Don’t expect gourmet pizza here… But it’s also a lot better than chain restaurant delivery pizza(Papa Johns, Pizza Hut, etc.). It’s a great place to grab a slice of pizza without breaking the bank. We had the cowboy pizza with kabob meat and loved it. They have an extensive menu with lots of unique ingredients– we’ll definitely be back to try it again.

4 slices and a soda for $ 4! The pizza was lukewarm and the asparagus tasted like it was straight out of the jar. Otherwise, the crust was pretty good! I think the massive menu is worth a second chance, even though my first pizza was lackluster. The service was speedy and friendly. I think I was mostly surprised by the lack of pizza smell upon entry. The best way to sell your product is by the aroma, but aside from the blaring tv, it was a generally muted atmosphere. Visit Royal if you want a quick exotic pizza to silence your stomach.

I was excited to try this little spot after reading a few reviews. Not disappointed! I called to order takeout about a half hour before closing, and the man who took my order and made the pizza was delightful. I’d come back to see him. Pizza was delicious. Sauce and cheese were the right amounts, crust was cooked well and not super thin, but not thick. Yummy sauce and crust, and I’m no fan of crust. The toppings were plentiful and delicious. I’m coming back for pizza. You should, too.

Feeling adventurous enough to break free from the clutches of a couple of other favorite pizza places in town, Pizza Palace did not disappoint. My partner in crime and I pretty much had the entire place to ourselves when we visited which was great since we were able to peruse the menu for awhile before deciding on what we wanted. The two gentlemen who were there were completely fine with us doing so. We ordered a half gold’s & half meat lovers pizza and then we ordered a half Nice(as in Nice, France — which pronouncing it ‘nice’ isn’t really. See what I did there?) & half royal pizza. The gold consists of mozzarella, spinach, artichoke, & chicken. As for the meat lovers — well, I think that’s pretty self-explanatory. The Nice steak, onion, and kebab sauce while the royal has kebab meat, onions, & mushrooms. When I first saw the pizza, I noticed how thin it was. And not crispy thin but just thin. I was a bit worried as a past experience at another well-known San Antonio pizza establishment had the same thing going on and the middle was completely uncooked and soggy. I took that initial bite and was proven wrong — this place does know what they’re doing. I really enjoyed the taste and the mouth feel. The toppings weren’t piled on but that wasn’t a problem. Each topping brought its own flavor to make one unique pizza. I was so glad that the time we came here I hadn’t really eaten the past couple of days since the visit here made it worth it. The prices are average and the place is kept up with. At the far end of a local shopping center and parking is good.
