Ordered a pesto chicken panini sandwich and an order of pasta for delivery. Bread on sandwich was burnt, as in black. Chicken was dried out and the cheese was stringing. Pasta was pretty good, not good enough that I would go back again.

Ordered two small gf pizzas fries salad and gluten free chocolate dessert! We waited TWOHOURS for it to finally be delivered and of course was freezing cold. When I called after hour and half of waiting, she said I’m sure he’s close! Then my dessert ended up not being gf… thanks guys!

Driving down Potranco hubs sees a sign for Romes pizza and suggested we try it, however this location is currently being built so we looked up the closest location and headed towards Culebra. I’m not impressed. I called to order on Saturday night and was asked to hold. I had no problem with this until I passed the 6 minute mark so I hung up and planned to just go pick up a papa Murphy’s pizza. I missed the turn with papa Murphy’s and seen romes so I figured it was meant to be or something because I’ve never been and didn’t know exactly where it was located. I went in to order. I was greeted by a very friendly young lady who took my order without any issues. However she was the only one in the front with a lobby full of people, so I think I understand why it was taking so long to be removed from hold. I got a 12″ create your own pizza extra cheese and mushrooms and a turkey sub. They only had warm subs on their menu and it’s hot as hades so I’m not about that warm sub life. I asked it not to be oven baked. They had a military discount which I was much appreciative of. I told her I was going to wait in the car but actually left and headed to goodwill quickly. When I got back there was a spot available in the front row. I parked and started looking for my receipt so I could go claim our food. I could not find it and about a minute in «Brittney»(the name on the receipt) actually brought out the food to me! I was highly impressed. I didn’t expect that at all, she deserves some serious props because she went above and beyond. The food: the pizza was alright. Nothing spectacular. The sauce I didn’t like, even though there wasn’t much on the pizza it tasted very acidic I guess is the best way to put it. It didn’t taste fresh, more liked canned sauce. The sandwich bread was stale… Which you could probably get away with if you’re oven baking your sandwiches, however when you aren’t it’s unacceptable. The meat wasn’t bad but there was barely any onions or lettuce on it which was disappointing. I’d be willing to try the Potranco location when they open because usually the first few weeks at a new business are top notch but I definitely wasn’t impressed with this place as an stablished business and as the hold message said«voted best in San Antonio».

I really enjoyed this place. The pizza was excellent, we got pepperoni and sausage. The sauce was more rich than sweet and the crust was crisp and fresh. The only thing that this place is missing is a bar. I would recommend it to anyone who is in that area. I’ll be eating here again.

Food wasn’t amazing but it wasn’t bad. Still better than most chains in my opinion. The gentleman at the counter wasn’t overly engaged with me(which is understandable because he was taking calls) but he was still polite and friendly. The store itself was pretty clean and is obviously taken care of. Overall I’m happy with my experience here. I probably won’t be a regular but will likely eat here again in the future

Brought the kids to San Antonio for Sea World. Wanted to find a good pizza place for them and this place was great! My kids could not stop eating because they loved it. Highly recommend this place. We only ordered pizza so we cant speak for the rest of the menu. If this place is in Dallas I will be looking for it!

Great variety of pizza. Their crust is wonderful and my son loves their cheese pizza. I have tried their Greek salad and it is average but their antipasta salad is great. It would be better if it had grape tomatoes, but otherwise it is a great salad. Overall a good dining experience.

Ok pizza, I got a takeout. Was given 30 mins when I ordered online, and when I got there 25 mins later the pizza was lukewarm. Only reason I get my pizza from them is because its marginally better than the chains.

Order from this place for the first time today, I have to say I’m not that impressed. The food is rather bland. The salad is horrible, really some letruce, tomato, bunch of olives, some feta cheese and a small sauce, I had better salad, chick-fil-a had better salad. The pizza, the bread/dough is also bland. Domino’s, and pizza hut have better pizza. And the price is quite expensive.

Outside of the quick delivery, friendly guy and hot food, there is not much else good with this place. The chicken alfredo tasted not alfredo and the lasagna had a weird taste to it as well. Their servings are also small imo.

My son & I were starving one night & decided on pizza. It was between our old faithful(Pizza Hut) or Rome’s Pizza. Never having eaten there before I decided to check the reviews on this place. They were mixed, but we decided to give it a try anyway. We got two 8′ pizzas– the Extravaganza, which is a meaty, marinara sauced pizza & the 4 Tenors, a white pizza with tomatoes rather than sauce. Here was my verdict on both: YUCK! Not even edible & I hadn’t eaten ALLDAY! The white pizza was disgusting, WAY too many herbs on top & they tasted like plastic! Cheap herbs maybe? I don’t know, but I couldn’t eat one of the slices if my life depended on it. Dramatic? No. It was THAT bad my friends. My son, who had ordered the meaty pizza, said it was«ok». Mind you, this boy is 5 years old. I’ve gotten a better reaction from a plate full of asparagus. I did taste his & it was edible, but the cheese was not even melted. That being said, it should’ve been. There was hardly any in the first place! oh! & There was maybe a tablespoon of sauce spread across the entire pizza. :-/ In regards to the price, our total came out to $ 18. For two tiny pizzas. For one to be thrown away & another to be consumed out of respect to my $ 18. WASTE of a perfectly good $ 20 but hey, now we know. Maybe this was an off day, maybe it just isn’t good pizza. I cant say for sure because we certainly will not be returning. I’ll stick with Pizza Hut for that price. JUST A HEADSUPTOMYFELLOWPIZZALOVERS! I did find a great pizza place here in NWSA! Kennedy’s Chicago Pizza, its located on Potranco right across from the Freddy’s & the Bushes Chicken. Might want to try that one instead! :-)

Get the romes VIP card and enjoy 15 percent off your total bill. Medium pizza with pepperoni and a drink 10 bucks. Worth the price. Never had a bad meal here. Staff is friendly. Will even accommodate me ordering light cheese with my milk allergy

I have been coming here for a couple years. It was our only pizza joint for awhile. First off… the service is always luke warm. The staff never smile or try to engage with the customers, while this isn’t a deal breaker, it would be nice to have a smile. In the past the pizza has been great but recently, the crust has been a hair away from burned. I blew it off the first time but it keeps happening. There are all kinds of dough bubbles which I don’t mind too much but they are usually big and all the toppings slide off. A lot of places pop those while it cooks for a more even pizza. I don’t know but all this adds up to mediocre pizza and experience.

This is our favorite pizza place so it gets 5 stars as far as pizza places go. The restaurant is always clean which we appreciate. The service is always friendly and fast. We always call in our order and it’s usually ready in about 15 – 20 minutes. We find that pick up is much quicker than delivery. I like the vegetarian pizza and the fresh ingredients. It’s not a greasy pizza which I especially appreciate. And because we like to take our business local as much as possible, this is another reason we will continue to choose Rome’s.

Terrible experience ordering online. A software glitch charged my debit card 5 times !! The manager(Rick) could not(would) not void the transactions. That is outright fraud. Never patronize those jerks.

I have been using this place a one of my 2 primary pizza delivery restaurants for years. Two reasons: 1) the food is good. And 2) the food is good. They got an order wrong one time, and totally made it right by comping our check. The drivers are friendly & professional, the staff on site is friendly & professional… ya get it. They’re friendly & professional. And the food is good. Winner combo.

I have been to Rome’s Pizza at a different location in town and enjoyed the food, so when we were having some friends over we decided to order pick-up pizza’s for our gathering. Now, the pizza’s are on the pricier side, but we had a coupon that we thought we could use and the person who took our order on the phone said was usable. When I went to pick up the three pizzas, it ended up at $ 70 for the total. The coupon would have taken 10% off, but when I gave it to the cashier she pointed out the smallest print I have ever seen on the back saying that I had to order 5 pizzas minimum. She was rather rude about it, as if I was trying to scam them when I sincerely had not seen the print. I asked if they would still honor it since I had been told over the phone it was fine, at which point the rudeness increased by a factor of 10. The girl did ask, but the manager didn’t even come to tell me himself(the had a conversation around a corner, I don’t think they realized I could hear the whole thing) and his attitude about the mix-up was rude as well. While I their pizza tastes okay and I enjoy the non-tomato based pizzas, it is not worth the price we paid. When I just went in and bought single slices, the price doesn’t seem unreasonable. But couple the high price for the entire pie with the rude staff, and I think we will be sticking with store bought pizza or ordering from Papa Johns or Dominos.

Not impressed. I had ordered this pizza before, a supreme, and forgotten. I now remember why I don’t order from here. Just not very good. We got the Pepper Steak and Chicken Picatta this time to try something different and unique. Dry, rather bland and just not very good. I hope this time I remember to not order from them again. Expensive too, two medium pizza with delivery and tip was $ 37.00.
